A lot of idols I stan don’t have “robotic media training” and actually show their personalities. Also, how do they know hybe doesn’t put them on diets? It’s just weird to see them constantly put down kpop idols and the kpop industry, when Katseye literally comes from a kpop company. submitted by /u/Diligent_Night602 [link] [comments]

They're very safe and cookie cutter which is jarring for an SM group. Other SM groups had it rough during their rookie days due to their unconventional sound that are heavily entergrained to their branding that ended up leading them to their success, but both H2H and Riize are just THERE because their music feel like they go in and out of your ear so quickly. I feel like the thing that needs to be talked about the most is how these two groups barely have vocalists, something SM has always been aplauded for. Riize is kinda decent and they got Sohee but still lacking, but H2H GOT NO ONE besides Carmen and even then her ability is just so-so. Something shifted in SM and I wanna know what happened because the creative direction has changed so much. submitted by /u/Chocopieluv [link] [comments]

The post is inspired by a few random fancall clips I've recently seen on social media where idols sounded like they were speaking into a $10 microphone from 2003 and the video looked like a low bitrate 360p image being sent through McDonald's Wi-fi network. It's just so funny to me since generally speaking the production quality in K-pop is pretty high. Even for personal YT videos idols are using very good vlog cameras that can easily handle 1080p60 resolution with quick auto-focus. And obviously all music shows and variety content channels usually utilize amazing video and audio equipment. But fancalls seem to be the only exception since I see some really low quality examples pretty often. Like they legitimately look worse than my work Zoom meetings. And I can't fathom why, especially with all of those fancall events being scheduled in advance so the staff should have plenty of time to just prepare a decent camera/microphone setup with stable Internet connection beforehand. submitted by /u/Asleep_Swing2979 [link] [comments]

I’ve been in the K-pop community for just over a year now and when it comes to photo card trading, I’ve always stuck trading and selling in my country (UK) mostly on Instagram/Vinted/Depop and i really want to start trading and selling to the EU and even overseas to the Americas/Asia for example but I don’t know how to send letters for cheap 😭 Or just send letters outside of the UK in general any guidance and help from another person would be greatly appreciated and used 🫶🏼 submitted by /u/tomato_s0oup [link] [comments]
I've recently been into kpop fan created content and was wondering who are some good kpop content creators/micro-influencers from Southeast Asian countries (Indonesia, Malaysia etc.). Thank you! submitted by /u/VegetableIntern4947 [link] [comments]
