I've been happy with the increase of diversity within the upcoming groups in the recent years. More international groups and also idols who are allowed and even promoted to celebrate pride and express themselves more. That being said I still am seeing or should I say not seeing a single plus sized kpop idol or group. This really does disappoint me, I'm sure there's a very large audience for this maybe not as much in Korea but internationally. We all know plus sized dancers definitely exist and do just as well in a routine as anyone else of a different size. However, there talents aren't being showcased, unfortunately there is a large bias towards skinnier idols and exclusion to anyone who's more plus sized. Do you guys think this will change? And will we ever get a plus sized idol or group? submitted by /u/Interesting-Trip-233 [link] [comments]

It has been confirmed on the kcon page on Twitter/X....They'll perform on the first day. I know they'll do well cause they've done justice to the covers they've done before. submitted by /u/Fast-Championship694 [link] [comments]

What's wrong with delusional fun with idols, if it's not causing harm and other sites like thread have no problem with it so why does everyone here hate it submitted by /u/Huge_Tea1338 [link] [comments]
How young idols debut. I think people see examples like Eunchae and Chiquita and think, āThese girls are set for life, no issues.ā But the big problem is the other 95% of the industry, which will not reach even a quarter of the Big 4 sucess. A lot of underage idols end up dealing with all the downsides of the industry without the benefit of building a real financial cushion. Thatās what I find weird to see normalized. submitted by /u/Striking-Meal-5257 [link] [comments]

Idk, usually this is never an issue. But because this is animated film at home, most of the attention went to Arden Cho. Not throwing any shade at her, but I feel like Ejaeās voice carried the movie. Without the songs or her voice, it just wouldnāt have been the same. Iām a strong believer in hard workers being rewarded, and I know Ejae deserves more attention. Considering Kpop Demon Hunters is Kpop, I thought this was the best place to ask for support to follow her. As a casual kpop listener Iāve always been curious about something; this is a question for Korean people and those who live in Korea. Do you find it weird when people become overly obsessed with kpop, to the point where they learn Korean, are moving there/studying abroad and become obsessed with Korean culture? I know someone who is like that and is not Korean at all or have any connection to Korea other than kpop. I also find that they sometimes develop some ayego tendencies that are weirdly child fetish-ish, like using high pitched, childlike voices in intimate and inappropriate times or dressing as though they are a child. What is your opinion on all of this? Am I just judging too hard or is it weird? submitted by /u/YesMouse1001 [link] [comments]
