Wanted to share this cute moment during AHOF's first solo fancon in The Philippines. This karaoke session was an impromptu one that played while the boys had a brief intermission to retouch their appearance backstage. Fans just randomly sang along with the lyrics on the screen I think the funniest part about this were the comments from fans during, and anticipating the rap section of the song found in various fancams (aside from the slow pause and realization to laughter lmao): (translated) "Oh, welp. ill leave it to you guys. ill be moral support" *stops singing* "Oh, this is group work okay? we wont be individually graded. Do your best" "what if we all collectively rolled down [the bleachers of the stadium] instead" "Woongki, i cant be an idol, im sorry.." -this is referring to a joke woongki told fans during promotions where if we did well during the fanchant, we can technically become kpop trainees "Bestie, this is so embarrasing *laughs and mumble raps anyway*" "Wait, what?! Come again?" (direct traslation) (the actual phrase was: "Ano daw?! Ulit nga?" - spoken in a sarcastic/teasing manner. i cant exactly translate it without losing it's funny nuances in tagalog but, it's like teasingly making someone repeat their funny/silly actions or mistakes) The cutest thing about all of this, is right after this impromptu fan karaoke session, AHOF went back onstage to sing their ballad - and all of them emerged cryingEven Shuaibo was still wiping his tears with tissue in his hands while they walked onstage (probably due to the very questionable rap /j ) edit; idk why my post was duplicated, but i deleted the other one. i hope it's fixed :') submitted by /u/rookiedany_ [link] [comments]

Consider this as kind of like a mini survey situation. I started listening to Nct a lot this year and even though I am not a Stan, I find myself constantly floored by their music, and yes I'm talking all subunits-wish and wayv included. But my question to y'all, especially if you aren't an nctzen like me is-Aside from their more industrial (noise) or neo tracks like baggy jeans, glitch mode, sticker, fact check-(yk the vibes I'm going for), what other songs from the nct collective do you know and maybe love??. Because if I may be bold, their entire collective releases more rnb and other genres than noise music but maybe because the noise music are mostly title tracks their whole music is collectively referred to as noise music. I hoped I framed my question well?. Because as a casual listener that just started diving into nct this year due to my obsession with Walk by 127, I'm kinda tired of the "noise" music label that has been slapped on them, because the other genres they have outweighs the noise. I ask this as I listen to Better than Gold at work submitted by /u/Muted_Bodybuilder109 [link] [comments]

I don't know if I'm typing this too soon but this whole thing is confusing me. As far as I see and remember, Cortis is getting quite a bit of hype in kpop circles, especially with Go! which I genuinely thought was going viral (mainly because I was seeing it everywhere and ended up adding it to my own playlist). Even idols were hopping on the challenge, which usually signals that a song is taking off. So they dropped their debut album yesterday. I checked the charts yesterday and today too… but it’s all crickets. No real movement. Which is throwing me off because 5th gen groups have been killing it on kcharts lately. So what exactly is happening here? submitted by /u/Letzz_get_it [link] [comments]

What do you think about the sales numbers? How did the release stack up to your expectations? I thought it would be fun to have a two-week-later album discussion! Yes i know Katseye is an international group, but tbh i don’t know what other subreddit to ask besides this one. I kind of thought all the members of Katseye participated in the Dream Academy because they all had a liking for kpop, like dancing and music, but I’m starting not to think so. submitted by /u/chaejulia [link] [comments]

Hi everyone, A little while ago, I shared a sneak peek of a K-pop planner I was working on, and thank you to the few who commented. To catch you up: My wife and I recently fell headfirst into K-pop during a really tough season in our lives. And honestly? K-pop gave us joy when we needed it most. It gave us something to look forward to. It introduced us to a community that feels like family. We’ve been welcomed with such warmth, passion, and kindness, and I wanted to give back in a small way. So I started designing something: a K-pop planner made for fans, by a fan. WELP IT'S DONE: I’ve also made a free 15-page demo if anyone wants to try it first! Just DM me or comment “sample” and I’ll send it over. https://i.redd.it/te70420re6of1.gif After weeks of designing, tweaking, and listening to way too many MVs on loop, I’m so proud to share that the 65-page ObsidianWhiskers K-POP & Fandom Planner is officially complete. This isn’t about making a quick profit. It’s about creating something meaningful Something that might bring a little more joy, focus, and heart to someone else’s fandom journey. If it helps even one person feel a little more organized, inspired, or connected to their bias… Then it was worth it. 🐾 Thank You submitted by /u/MandatoryCozyVibe [link] [comments]

I've recently started enjoying itzy songs and their content and found them very endearing and funny. Their friendship reminded me of nct dream and made me wonder if they ever had any interaction on camera. I have already watched the backstage vlog where nct dream were giving each other dares and itzy were present just behind them with their faces blurred. The reason I'm only mentioning nct dream and not 127 is because of the age dynamics of nct dream which is more aligned with 4th gen groups. Both groups have made multiple tiktoks with various groups of opposite gender , but I've never seen these 2 groups together. I know it's not a big deal but has anyone else ever wonder about this ? submitted by /u/rubiesburyyy [link] [comments]

Okay so Rich Man has just been released a few days ago and I’ve been seeing a lot of mixed reactions on TikTok and YouTube. TikTok seems to like and hate it. YouTube respectfully criticized it. So I wanted to know what the people on Reddit thinks about it. Personally I think it’s an OKAY comeback but it also made me feel like my expectations were too high. THESE ARE JUST MY PERSONAL OPINIONS ONLY SO PLS FEEL FREE TO SHARE YOURS ((Too many yapping so just scroll down to the end if you’re impatient)) The album itself: After all the money SM has saved from giving Giselle’s bad outfits they should’ve given us a full album just like Armageddon. A mini album is fine but I feel like they could’ve added more songs and playing into the concept of ‘Rich Man’. I think this album is a little bit experimental from what they usually do but after Dirty Work I feel like I could be wrong. I think they could’ve explored a lot more genres and put it into the albums too but I don’t hate it tbh. The tracklist + Title track The tracklists were OKAY. Nothing really sounded like the title to be honest? And speaking of the title which is Rich Man. I feel like the demo is 100% better than the final version. I don’t really like how the producers or whoever is behind that computer making the beats stripped away the grungey and heavy electric guitar sounds from the song. It was very bold and heavy which is super cool but AESPA’s team stripped that element away from the song and played it a little bit too safe. Still even if it could’ve been better I think Rich Man is nice like it’s not THAT bad as people make it out to be but that’s their opinion not mine. It gives off this like villains vibe and stuff and on Giselle’s opening line I which they would’ve kept the “I am enough as I am. I am a rich man.” Line from the promotion picture but hey, at least we have Giselle saying it. Moving onto the B-sides I personally don’t like Bubble and Drift. It’s somewhat a unique sound but I still don’t really like it. Count On me was super good tho and Angel #48 was okay. To The Girls was the only one that truly sounds similar to Rich Man. Overall it’s not bad just could’ve been so much better. The styling I LOVE the concept photos styling so much. Karina looked SUPER GOOD with those choppy bangs and overall the stylist did smth great with the stylings again. But I feel like the girls have a separate stylists for music shows and concept photos cause the music shows outfits weren’t giving that much. Idk it feels a little cheap. Given how bold the styling was in the concept photos compared to the stage outfits. But I feel like I can’t judge too quick either because the album has just recently came out so I hope they do something more interesting with the styling choices for music shows! The choreography I got attacked on TikTok for saying it could’ve been better. (Typical MY’s on TikTok stuff) I stand by the fact that these girls can dance very well it’s just that the choreographer’s always give them simple choreo’s recently. Look I used to be a dancer and their recent choreos are SIMPLE. I specifically didn’t like the chorus move like it’s just arms being thrown in the air like what? These girls have so much more skills than just throwing their arms in the air. Even if it wasn’t simple the chorus weren’t even that hard to sing. The MV The MV was fun. I don’t understand the part where they were in a farm tbh like huh??? But I do appreciate how nice the MV was. I’ve heard an AI accusations against the MV though ao I’m waiting for it to be debunked later. Overall everything is fine it just couldve been better. Sorry for yapping! submitted by /u/Yourmydestiny77 [link] [comments]
