I've been seriously obsessed with Enhypen and P1Harmony’s discographies this year — like, it kind of took over my playlists without me even realizing. Especially their most recent comebacks... they've both been on another level. So I wanted to ask: what have been your favorite title tracks and b-sides from them (or even from other groups) lately? I'm always looking for good recs, especially those hidden gems you think everyone needs to hear. submitted by /u/Seesawey [link] [comments]
i don't see alot talking about it but ill, that "like jennie" ai fanmade song is suck and really bad no joking, isn't the whole "like jennie" song is about shutting down haters and who makes ai songs? its not like the only thing bad about it as its ai, the whole thing is bad, the lyrics look like child wrote it if its not also ai I've been seeing it all around the yt they have to stop submitted by /u/FullTea6995 [link] [comments]
The trailer looks good, but it is giving more MV vibes. How do we all feel about it? submitted by /u/MasterHospital [link] [comments]
I listen to quite a few Hybe girl groups and I noticed that they frequently put out remix albums of a particular song from a just released new album. To me it just looks cash grabbing and most of the time the remixes aren't even good (in my opinion). What are your thoughts about this? submitted by /u/Flareparadyne [link] [comments]

Do they realize they’re making baekhyun look pathetic every time they put words in his mouth and push that he said not to bring any lightstick other than an eribong to his shows. They do realize that baekhyun himself has never actually said this and they’re running with an announcement from the Seoul shows that was made because the lightsticks needed to sync up for the show right? There has been no lightstick synchronization for any stop outside of Korea so far, they would have received the same notice otherwise. He’s not going to throw a fit over a couple of lightstick’s from different groups. Attacking casual fans or new fans of his just because they brought a different lightstick is insane, why would you want to ruin someone’s first experience with him over something so trivial. You’d think exols would want him to bring in new fans. Fans of other groups and more casual listeners clearly thought he was worth the money to see live, shouldn’t fans be more welcoming to people that clearly enjoy his music and want to hear more?. Causing drama to the point that there’s such a huge focus on posts of fans attacking concert goers or other negativity, when everyone should be focused on Baekhyun! on his artistry, his performances and the very clear happiness he’s been experiencing during his first ever world tour. submitted by /u/artificialover [link] [comments]

Lim Jaebeom is raaaarely mentioned in best singers BUT HAVE YALL HEARD THIS MAN SING?! His vocal range is beautiful, he can hit an E5 (love loop if you’re curious which song), is versatile, and is so good at producing and singing. I’ve been an ahgase for so long and I’m always amazed by how good he sounds and shook that not enough people recognize his talent submitted by /u/Eviestevieoppar [link] [comments]

I played Dirty Work a couple times and my first initial though was "This feels like a mix between NMIXX style and Straykids" but as I listen to it more, It absolutely feel like an attempt to see how the Aespa would work in the western music genre. It feels so empty compared to their hits that I loved like "Whiplash" and "Drama". Doubt this song would flop considering Aespa is already an established named in the Kpop industry but if you really are an open minded kpop fan or kpop listener, you should know this was below standards for Aespa. I love them but its... A "Naah" for me. submitted by /u/PonyyingBop [link] [comments]
It’s a kids’ movie and a good lure for pre-pubescent girls to join the madness of fandom. The Golden Trio is a nod to the pioneering, first-generation K-pop girl groups: The Kim Sisters, The Hee Sisters, and S.E.S. Starting the movie with a montage of three-member girl groups feels like an intentional tribute to the early history of K-pop girl sensations. With the success of the movie on Netflix, I’m 90% sure a sequel is coming. My theory is they’ll add another member to the Golden Trio (I love how tongue-in-cheek the song titles are in this movie). I’m expecting the second film to echo the evolution into 2nd- and 3rd-gen K-pop groups, especially the “Power of Four” trope (2NE1, Blackpink). As someone who grew up on Winx Club, Sailor Moon, Powerpuff Girls, Totally Spies, etc., this checks out. It’s a classic narrative move in which a new member joins the core group, bringing in new powers or perspectives to help take down a stronger villain. All roads lead to Blackpink (Power of Four supremacy). Sony took the opportunity Riot didn’t with K/DA. Huntrix is so K/DA-coded. K/DA dropped in 2018 during the Blackpink boom, and one of the designers said they took direct inspiration from BP. Bekuh Boom wrote and produced most of K/DA’s hits, and she also wrote a lot of BP’s big tracks. The movie opens with “How It’s Done,” co-produced by TEDDY. The opening beat echoes The Girls, the title plays on How You Like That, and the “done, done” hook sounds like a playful riff on Ddu-du Ddu-du. Rumi’s design pulls straight from Jennie’s Kill This Love era. But there’s another layer: the White Tiger (Baekho) that follows her. In How You Like That promotions, Blackpink aligned with the Four Guardians: Jennie with the White Tiger, Lisa with the Vermillion Bird, Rosé with the Azure Dragon, and Jisoo with the Black Tortoise. In Sino-Korean mythology, they’re also called the Four Gods or Four Auspicious Beasts. By the end of the movie, the White Tiger isn’t damned like the other demons, as we would expect since it's close to Jinu. It glows light blue instead of red, signalling its celestial nature, opposite of Gwi-Ma’s hellish colour palette. This was foreshadowed earlier, when the Baekho led Rumi and entered its statue form guarding the palace. From Rumi's pov, the statue stands on the left side (West), which subtly confirms it as the White Tiger of the West. Jennie wore her iconic White Tiger top throughout the Born Pink World Tour. So, the Rumi–Jennie parallels stack up. The White Tiger’s already in the picture. It all feels like setup for the Four Symbols/Four Guardians to be the core mythology in the sequel. submitted by /u/ElvenQueen726 [link] [comments]
