i’m just getting into riize and seeing all the boycotting from kpop fans is so confusing, like you would think the guys did something horrible. i’m finding out that one of the members got kicked out and i feel like the common sense logic of it is to blame the company? taking it out on the group he dreamed to be included in feels extremely unproductive. they have some great music so ‘fans’ saying they’re still boycotting and refusing to listen to their new releases is just sabotage. i keep seeing people under tiktok videos acting like enjoying riize’s new music is a sin or that they’re betraying something, saying things like “nooo you’re strong we have to boycott” when someone says they like a song. protesting is fine, advocating and defending for seunghan is fine, being outraged is fine, but now the whole group is suffering for something they had no control over. is the goal to make riize flop and disband? does that help anyone? also isn’t seunghan debuting again soon anyway? these are people’s livelihoods and careers; take it up to the company who manages these contracts maybe. submitted by /u/seigfried0401 [link] [comments]
J-Hope was seen at BLACKPINK’s concert today, and honestly, it just reminded me how BTS have always supported other artists. Same with Jungkook going to aespa’s concert, Taehyung showing up for SEVENTEEN, Yoongi constantly shouting out other artists on his shows. They never act like they’re above anyone, even though they could easily do that. Instead, they hype others up and show love without making it a big deal. I wish more people talked about this side of them. Especially considering how crazy fanwars can get, because it’s honestly frustrating how BTS are always respectful and supportive, and yet they still get so much unnecessary hate from other fandoms. Like… if your fave respects them, why can’t you? At the end of the day, the idols themselves clearly have mutual respect and support for each other, it’s the fans who keep creating drama that doesn’t exist. BTS have never fed into that kind of energy, and I think that says a lot about who they are. It’d be nice if more people followed their example instead of constantly trying to tear them down for no reason. submitted by /u/PuzzleheadedMovie950 [link] [comments]

I don‘t know, I love this sub because it makes me feel better about myself. It really is the perfect therapy session… We have this new Blackpink concert and fans of several groups already hyperventilate about their faves possibly making contact with the Blackpink members. This is so incredibly funny. Your faves are probably fans of their music while you guys are out here being miserable and hateful for no reason. Hating on the members, writing your little "concern" posts for their fans lmao. Since when did you care about Blinks? 💀 The girls are out there living their life while you are on this app being miserable, you can‘t make this shit up. — The clips I saw looked amazing. The girls are killing it, all the best to them and to every idol who attended. May all idols have a great 2025 💕❤️ submitted by /u/Physical_End_537 [link] [comments]

She gave more context and went deeper about what actually happened that day. The translation: “But recently there was a bit of an issue and bcs of that I started wishing not just for myself but for everyone around me to live peacefully without any trouble. I honestly had no such intention at all so I really wanted to talk about it. And I felt really sorry about that. I just wanted to say that I’m truly sorry for causing concern to our fans and so many others people. I really want to say sorry. I remember going out with the staff on a chilly day, buying an outer layer, posting on social media to communicate with fans and then getting contacted and having to delete it. All of that made me realize how ignorant I was. Even if I was abroad, it was still something I should have known and been aware of. So it really made me feel like I need to be more aware and study these things more deeply. I think it’s true that I was just very ignorant. And in any case, since I’m the one who put the story out there, it’s something I have to take responsibility for. But it was really hard seeing the other members get affected too”. cr: ujiminphoria She talked about this on a very popular show hosted by Jung Jaehyung. this is just my opinion. I listen to most groups and ive stanned a few here and there over the years. but i try keep up with most comebacks, either that or whatever comes on my fyp. i would say i know most groups even now as a music lover i listen to a lot of albums too but for some of the groups i may only know their title tracks sorry. submitted by /u/AdEmergency6619 [link] [comments]
2025 is halfway over and I feel like this has been a dry year compared to last one. Less hits both in kpop and western pop. But obviously there were still some standout releases. For the first’s time most of my fav releases are solo ones: Jennie-Seoul city Jennie-Zen Jennie-ExtraL Lisa-FUTW Lisa-Dream Meovv -Hands up J-Hope-Killing it girl This is pretty much it for me so far. Hopefully by the end of the year the list grows but these are the only releases I can confidently say were my favorite so far submitted by /u/Alive-Pitch-9180 [link] [comments]
Now that KATSEYE has finally released their version of Time Lapse for Good Boy OST Part 6, what do you guys think? What are your new favorite Kdrama, Korean variety/reality, etc. OSTs? KATSEYE - Time Lapse, GOGOSING SoundLess Live version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTfUNqPiA4E KATSEYE - Time Lapse, official audio version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uav-2BxMv9U Shout out to one of the most prolific Canucks in Kpop/Korean R&B/etc. these days, Junny, he's done quite a few collaborations and OSTs as of late. Hopefully KATSEYE will work with Paul Blanco too in a future track, he's another Toronto legend in the making (there's actually a bunch of folks from the GTA/416/905/etc. in Kpop/Khiphop/etc.), as his vocals (timbre/tone/color, or really everything) are incredible. It was delightful to hear Yoonchae sing in Korean for Time Lapse, so nice. The Kdrama (with Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Lee Sang-yi, et alia) is pretty good btw, lots of cool scenes for fellow international fans/non-Koreans/etc. in the show. Anyway, one of my other favorite Original Soundtracks these days is CIFIKA's 미미 (MiMi). Like for vocals and soundscapes, I'm watching Our Movie with Namkoong Min and Jeon Yeo-been, and it's super relatable, like wow, feel so melancholic. One of the best Kdramas in a while, there's 4 more episodes left (12 in total) after today! One of my legit favorites in recent memory (it just released 3 weeks ago and I've been replaying/repeating/looping/etc. it every day) for all of Kdramaland/Cdramaland/etc. is that ending scene of Our Movie Episode 3, Jeon Yeo-been opens the frosted glass door, and then you hear the OST, CIFIKA's 미미 (MiMi): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7xVcD9c1u0 (it encapsulates everything, absolutely beautiful, c'est la vie, pour toujours) And it's hauntingly ethereal, vocals soundscape heaven. ~네가 남긴 한참을 숨어 있던 글자만으로. 알 수 있어 우리가 나눈 모든 밤들과 별들...~ ~네 의미가 닿을 듯 말 듯 하지만...~ ~Your hidden words echoes in my head, I can't get any closer...~ Beautiful, amazing, magnificent. Marvelous fit for the whole show's tone, the slice of life bliss! submitted by /u/MNLYYZYEG [link] [comments]
