With all the groups under HYBE right now, a lot of them are huge. Illit, txt, enhypen, svt, bts, lsf, katseye, bnd ect... But they still have that ador war on their backs and pledis being a bitch to fromis9 and gfriend yet planning to debut another group... Shouldn't they chill a bit and focus on their current groups' growth? Maybe i'm wrong, i'm not really a company stan anyway. Thoughts? submitted by /u/Gold_Meaning3688 [link] [comments]
Some K-pop stans seriously donât understand the meaning of the word âopinions.â Like, why is someone getting dragged just because they said a certain idolâs music isnât their taste? Since when is âI donât like this songâ a personal attack? And God forbid you call out an idol for being problematic suddenly youâre âa haterâ who needs to be silenced. And when you dare to talk back? your address or IP is now on their storyâs lol , like thatâs some kind of mic drop. Newsflash: I do not care if you have my address. Youâre not about to show up in my life unless youâre truly unemployed and lifeless. And if thatâs your hobby⊠maybe log off and go touch some grass. submitted by /u/chanvamp [link] [comments]

I want to help increase discoverability for groups that arenât talked about as much in these subs, because i often see the same groups brought up in conversations! Please feel free to drop your group and sell them as much as you want, drop songs, vids, describe the members, latest updates, etc! submitted by /u/Lilac-Soul [link] [comments]

I just realised how most of the groups that are trendy right now didn't even exist in 2021 because very late 2021 + 2022 was a huge year for a sudden influx of new groups starting off huge. Soooo much has changed since then but I honestly can't remember what 4th gen groups were doing in 2021 at all because I wasn't very active back then. The only thing I can clearly remember happening from that year was the feels (twice) coming out đđđ And that's not even 4th gen lmao Who did everyone think would be huge by now back then? Just curious to see how much (if anything) changed :) submitted by /u/Gold_Meaning3688 [link] [comments]
What is a lazy performer? Why is someone labelled a lazy performer for the way they dance? Why donât we call idols who lip sync lazy performers? Is someone pacing themselves lazy? Do you think itâs necessary that idols perform their 100% all the time? submitted by /u/SweatyEvidence9584 [link] [comments]

long story short : iâm worried about Lightsum future yesterday a year has passed since their last release (one digital single) and everything feels kinda bleak. maybe the AI show curse is real and they are the next victims? if someone doesnât know, Lightsum is a girl group under Cube. they debuted in 2021 with Vanilla (bad choice imo.. the song and visuals were outdated afffff) and as of 2025 they have 17 songs, two members left and second time in their career when they donât release anything for a year. some fans on X are saying that they have it worse than CLC and looks like itâs true đ CLC at least had some music here and there, while Lightsum are constantly performing for military gigs and thatâs all. also Cube is planning to debut new GG and while Reddit is cackling it probably wonât change their plans to do it and completely switch attention to them. while u canât pay me to listen to Vanilla, i find their later songs enjoyable â Alive and Honey or Spice are little fun bangers. it will be a shame to lose them, especially when you think about Chowon career track. what do you think about their future? is there any hope? submitted by /u/vendigo37 [link] [comments]

Iâve been a fan of her since the IZ\ONE* days, sheâs been my bias for years. Admiring someone doesnât mean I think every single thing they do is flawless. Recently, under a video where she did something I found a bit cringey (ig aegyo itself is a bit cringey, we can all agree with that), I said: âI love her, but this moment was kinda cringe ngl lol đ â It was just a lighthearted opinion about a moment, not an attack on her as a person. But even with a âlove herâ in my comment, the reaction was: âJust scroll.â âDonât say that here.â âYouâre a hater.â This is exactly what I find strange in K-pop spaces. If youâre a fan, sometimes it feels like youâre only âallowedâ to post praise, anything else, even mild, respectful criticism, is treated like hate :/ Hereâs what Iâm trying to say: Loving an idol doesnât mean agreeing with 100% of what they do. Noticing something awkward or silly doesnât mean you dislike them. Respectful disagreement shouldnât be taboo in fan spaces. If you can scroll past a comment thatâs not your vibe, great, just like I couldâve scrolled past moments I didnât enjoy. We donât need to turn every small critique into a war. Maybe the problem isnât the opinion. Maybe itâs how allergic some people have become to even the softest disagreement. submitted by /u/Distinct-Egg-7973 [link] [comments]
