i have been obsessed with his recent cover on X. he covered SZA's open arms and honestly i'm mind blown! the runs and the riffs and the high notes are insane! he even does riffs IN falsetto. he is insane and needs to be recognized as one of the BEST if not the best vocalist of his generation. i know YG doesnt really promote TREASURE but you guys have to check him out. submitted by /u/jwvision [link] [comments]
Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but I've noticed that many people don't even know the context of something and already have an opinion against it... this is general. You know those prank videos of everyone doing something strange in some environment, and the person doesn't understand right away, but in order not to be "alone" they repeat the same thing unconsciously? That's what a lot of hate is. You have to research on your own and judge according to the principles you believe in, not let people tell you what to do, just to "fit in" submitted by /u/azio_o [link] [comments]

It's very good performance as always. Hobi still being cool as ever through his hope on the stage concert. Even though you can tell Jungkooks singing slightly changed a bit due to long months of military, he still sounded amazing and kept a good stage presence. It's exciting to see bts members perform together submitted by /u/Routine_Example5803 [link] [comments]

Since last year SOTY was already released at this time, I wonder what song could be fighting for SOTY. I think Rebel Heart is going to be nominated for sure, since koreans loved the song submitted by /u/Sunlight_Glow10 [link] [comments]
╔══════════════╗ Hey everyone, Today KQ boy group ATEEZ returns with the third part of the Golden Hour series they have been doing. I've enjoyed the first two parts of the series and am curious to see what the third part will bring to the table. I hope this new project from the group is one that I can have on repeat, because I know ATEEZ puts out some excellent music. ╚══════════════╝ https://preview.redd.it/sa2m7xnvbo6f1.jpg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c3026cb7f7ddec3ed0565902303646b607f1318a GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3 - ATEEZ 1. Lemon Lemon opens up the album with some distorted vocals as the high hats come into the mix. The vocals from the members are smooth working well with the overall vibe. The rapping does work well with the overall vibe fitting what the producers crafted. I will say I do find the backing track a little weak. The hook is decent not my favorite chorus from the group, but I guess it still works. I do like the performance the group puts on as it is something that fits the backing track, but I will have to see if this song will grow on me or not. https://preview.redd.it/dvx32k47fo6f1.jpg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d8b3fe2392dda932957afa02746cf6011f6c61c ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ Masterpiece The second song on the album opens with a vocal sample before the smooth trap beat comes into the mix. The smooth vocals from the members fit perfectly with the vibe the producers went for. I prefer the performance and the rapping on Masterpiece more than what the opening for this album brought to the table. While I don't think the rapping in this tune is ATEEZ's best rap it still works with the backing track. The hook on Masterpiece is another decent section that does fit the vibe of the tune. https://preview.redd.it/jddgx3xbfo6f1.jpg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a6f85d4e49b373b58f1717040407041c2047599 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ Now This House Ain't a House EDEN, maddox, Peperoni & Oliv are the producers for the third song on the album. The vocals have a lot of reverb on them as they sound like they are in the background of the instrumental. The rapping is decent once again working wonderfully with the vibe the producers crafted, but I do find the raps to be a little weak. The group does put on a decent enough performance that does work with the production. The Chorus is a pretty forgettable moment in the song as I don't even remember what it sounded like after it's over. https://preview.redd.it/u560dknffo6f1.jpg?width=1500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d27f0d091798aed4f3d76ed9cab961f1bfe04442 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ Castle The four songs on the album open up with some drum machines that craft the backing track as the members bring in some smooth vocals. The synth melody in the pre-chorus continues into the hook which has this groovy vibe I'm enjoying. The smooth rapping might be the best on the album as it flows perfectly with the synth melody. Each time I hear the chorus the better it becomes and the more it grows on me. I love the groovy melody that this tuen delivers as it is something I'll be remembering more than what the songs before it delivered. https://preview.redd.it/n0o6jkuhfo6f1.jpg?width=225&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bba3f3663908ce691c56487ac58754a385aa4faf ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ 5. Bridge : Edge of Reality The closing song on the project is a 1:32 minute piece with production from EDEN, maddox, Peperoni, Oliv, Door & Tankzzo. The track has this thumping vibe with a bit of vocals that help end this album better than it started. I find this instrumental piece to be one of the better-produced songs as I wish this sound was used more in the album than what we were given. https://preview.redd.it/dx9vm3qkfo6f1.jpg?width=1350&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2cedca5f5ba0e4d385f501a98f54a6f227344f9e ╔══════════════╗ Summary: ATEEZ has returned with an album that makes me a little sad. A lot of the tracks on this project went for this bland, generic vibe that didn't connect with me. I felt like a lot of the tunes on this album were pretty forgettable which makes me sad cause I know ATEEZ can put out better-quality music. Castle is this groovy synth-based tune that is probably the only song on the record I'm enjoying besides the outro. I hope the next series the group does will bring them back with higher-quality music. ╚══════════════╝ https://preview.redd.it/4gvyb5akfo6f1.jpg?width=900&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=427ec6990b50f232678ba6572c3ceb1268177748 submitted by /u/Maltifandom23 [link] [comments]

When I first got into Kpop, I used to only listen to it. ONLY. There were no other artists on my playlists and I was so engrossed with the same 5 groups I stanned, and the same 20ish songs I listened to on repeat. Now, I would say that I have a huge diversity. I listen to a lot of Kpop groups across generations and style. And I include lots of kpop songs in my playlist. But I only "stan" like 2-3 of them. I prefer listening to groups casually rather than keeping up with all the content surrounding them as I find that too exhausting. I also have alot of western artists and Indian artists (I'm Indian) on my playlists. My repeats tend to be pretty mainstream artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Chapell Roan, Kendrick Lamar, SZA etc. I've also been listening to this artist called Sofia Isella, whom I couldn't recommend enough, she made me fall in love with lyrics again. So, do you only listen to Kpop? Or do you have a diversity? submitted by /u/Feeling_Neo [link] [comments]
I'm an INTP just like Sakura from LE SSERAFIM and Soyeon from I-DLE! You can take the kpop quiz here: mbti.kstarplanet.com (pretty fun quizzes for kpop fans!) Share your results and thoughts below! :D submitted by /u/Fragrant-Explorer894 [link] [comments]
I'm going to create a complication of posts about K-Pop groups, idols, etc. It will be 12 posts, I will post it everyday, asking about your first bias, first group to stan, fav song, and kind of things like that. Therefore this is the first post, I hope you guys enjoy it😉💕 \Note:* You can also tell me when did you stan your first K-pop group and how do you choose your bias, if you want to! I'll start first, Rosé is my first ever bias in K-Pop, along with BLACKPINK as my first group to stan. Since 2018, I was listening to DDU-DU-DDU-DU; and then I fell in love with it. So I started to know about BP, I love them and end up with chose Rosé as my bias because of her amazing vocals, sweet personality, and wonderful visuals. submitted by /u/Specific_Cake_5410 [link] [comments]
