I thought it’d be fun to start a thread of Lesser Known K-Pop facts & things idols did before debut that not everyone knows. I’ll go first with one that always amazes me: ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon wasn’t just an idol trainee… he was actually a Professional 'Figure Skater'...Before stepping onto a K-Pop stage, he spent over a decade on the ice, training rigorously and competing in national and international tournaments. He even represented South Korea and won silver medals at the Asian Figure Skating Trophy back in 2015. Because of his elegance and charisma on the rink, he earned the nickname “Ice Prince”❄️ which honestly feels just as fitting for him as an idol today. What’s really cool is that he once shared how skating prepared him for K-Pop life, especially performing in front of big audiences. When you think about it, the grace, balance, and control he learned from skating probably add to the way he moves on stage now. From jumps on ice to choreographies under the spotlight...! It’s like he’s had two careers in one lifetime, and he’s still so young..! Now I want to hear yours 👀... What’s a lesser known fact about your bias or another idol that you think more people should know?? submitted by /u/LunaVixen7 [link] [comments]
So yeah, why dirty delete it? It’s really not cool moderators to censor a post that have live comments on it. Without any warning, and without any fairness, you deleted a live thread about the rumor, which is now confirmed to be true by Songkick. According to influencer magazine this all went down a few days ago when the moderators of this very sub and other separated, seemingly banned together to censor the Freya Fox Lisa news I will post the article below . But the concert has been confirmed for Jan 2026 submitted by /u/visualreverb [link] [comments]

I’ve seen a lot of stuff saying it isn’t the truth…what do you think? submitted by /u/my_shroom [link] [comments]
1)What is up with people saying that companies like hybe are sexualizing minors by short clothes , and then there's literally nothing wrong with the outfit ( except the clearly visible ones lol) if a girl is wearing shorts or skirt , and you think thats sexual , the only thing wrong here is your mindset 2) if you read my previous post about kpop opinion s , yk this but still . Jhope and nayeon dating rumours , people in comments be like they look good together, happy for them🙄🙄these fans say it is bad to assume ANYTHING about the idol , but that is only till it's hate lol. Talk about hypocrisy submitted by /u/yejioooo [link] [comments]

Aespa have some of the best vocalists of this generation so why does SM force them to lipsync? I can somewhat understand them lipsyncing when they were rookies, but now they are a 5 yr old group. SM definitely know that people have criticized Aespa for lipsyncing so why do they make them do it again and again? Why not utilize their vocals more? Not to mention that on rare occasions when Aespa sings live, they have been praised a lot by everyone. I also feel like their energy increases when they are singing live and it decreases when they are lipsyncing. submitted by /u/Odd_Entertainer9554 [link] [comments]

Frankly put, i see too many posts on reddit with OPs (mainly on other subs) willing to sacrifice their own integrity, dignity, and intelligence just to make a point. A point that is often exclusive to a specfic demographic or gender. This is particularly dangerous and pervasive when people do not acknowledge a rebuttal standpoint. if they did they wouldnt create such nonsensical bullshit, and certainly not double down and stand on it. I am concerned for those of you who live for your parasocial relationships. The problems of possessing an idol goes far beyond the one I mentioned above. If I could say something to someone who needs to hear it: no one is perfect go put yourself out there. your red flag is a green flag to someone. and if you find that youre making mistakes and that youre not the person you wish to be, good, thats the first step to building a life and your character. the more time you waste on people who dont know you exist, the more time you spend neglecting yourself. Honestly, tell me how you all consume kpop in a mentally healthy fashion, I am trying to figure it out myself. I am also coming from a slightly emotionally charged place so be honest if anything seems unbalanced. submitted by /u/kungpow103 [link] [comments]
The AI-generated couple photo trend started in Indonesia and spread across Asian countries, especially in Southeast Asia (SEA). There were even paid commission services to generate couple photos for a designated person for an arranged fee. It got a lot worse in my home country, Myanmar. People just seemed to think of it as a harmless trend and would even post the pictures online casually. When I say the trend was big, there were more than a hundred thousand fangirls and fanboys, including fans of celebrities outside the K-pop community, using AI to generate lovey-dovey couple photos. I even witnessed some generating photos with NSFW (Not Safe For Work) intentions, and I was deeply disturbed. The usage of AI in my country to generate such photos is getting out of hand. Where and how can I file a report for the agencies and entertainment companies to take legal action against these creeps? submitted by /u/Lonely_Weakness_3853 [link] [comments]

It has been a while since Lara got falsely reported to ice. I wanna know everyones reaction when you guys found out about this. I was lowk shocked when I found out. I was so confused why people would do this bc of a fan war? GIRL LARA IS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN 😭!! It is so stupid people would do this bc of a fan war. If we keep this up companies will stop taking their groups to America because chaotic fans will report the group idol(s) to ICE . Like pls lets be more mature nd not report idols to ice..! It is so sad how fan would go so low to do this to win a fandom war. submitted by /u/Ssqpphirc1111 [link] [comments]
