So I was scrolling through my photos and found one I had taken back in April. That was the time the purple fragrance had just been released and joined the chance lineup, which is hilarious because yeri also got added to RV after than the other 4 members. Seeing all those perfumes together reminded me so much of red velvet’s summer concept. I mean, the colours match their fruits!! That made the purple one (grape for yeri) joining the lineup late all that much more special and cool. Thought it would be cool to share this on reddit, even if I’m like 4 months late lol submitted by /u/redlipstick1010 [link] [comments]

In K-pop fandoms you always see these random “records” like: “First BG debuted 2025 to hitting 1M views in just 1 hour!” “First group to reaching 5M views in a single day!” “Fastest MV to hit 10M in a week!” And fans treat it like some huge competition between groups, Cmparing with other groups back and forth. But YouTube views can literally be boosted with money. If a company throws a big budget on ads, their MV pops up everywhere → instant views. Back in the day it might’ve been relevant, but now it’s basically just a marketing tool rather than an actual achievement. Totally different from album sales or charting on music platforms, which actually reflect public response. Am I the only one who thinks glorifying YouTube views is kinda outdated? submitted by /u/Difficult_Bit_3025 [link] [comments]

Dreams are weird in general but when real people start appearing in them it feels so strange. I know some people joke about things like suspecting their boyfriend cheating on them because of a dream they had, but have you ever had the same experience with a celebrity, or specifically a kpop idol? The other day I had a dream where I was the 7th member of KATSEYE and Manon hated my ass. Like a deep, visceral type of hatred. I completely forgot about it until I saw a clip of her on youtube and it was like getting war flashbacks. Like genuine whiplash 😭 now obviously, do I hate her because of this? No! It was a dream, I'll get over it, her irl personality is obviously not going to correspond to whatever my brain thought up while I was asleep. In fact, she seems like a very sweet person. But it was very funny to me that a weird little hallucination(?) I had affected me in the real world. The poor girl doesn't know she's my bully in another life So, out of curiosity, has anyone else had a similar experience where they couldn't look at an idol the same way after a dream? Whether it was temporary or you still hold a one-sided grudge to this day, I'd like to know! (Also, unrelated to the discussion but I feel like telling this to somebody, when I mentioned this dream in a youtube comment section, two people agreed that (quoted) "This person is clearly on the spectrum just making up stuff for attention" 😨 WHAT DID I DO???) submitted by /u/AerieNew8461 [link] [comments]

first time posting on this subreddit so not sure what flair to use, what are some of the best kpop songs that really nail the sensual, seductive vibe? im not talking lyrics (although that could be a plus too), im talking about the entire vibe of the song. asking 'cause i love this style of songs lol submitted by /u/ch4seatlantixoxo [link] [comments]

Unfortunately, my theater wasn't super singing along during most of the movie (or they were really quiet), but we all got into it during What it Sounds Like. Out of all the concerts I have been too, the few minutes of unison surpassed it all. The only thing I believe that would surpass that is being at the Queen Live Aid concert. submitted by /u/Exciting_Coconut_937 [link] [comments]

Personally,I would choose SM.The music they produce is always so good, their groups are all popular and most importantly they don't disband for a long time.(can u believe girls generation is still alive and they debuted in 2007?) submitted by /u/Particular-Rain116 [link] [comments]
Hi everyone! I made a fan remake of 『GOLDEN』 — a song originally from Huntrix (KPopDemonHunters). This video actually contains several different remake versions I tried out, all just for fun. It’s a simple music upload with background images — featuring the three characters I imagined, reinterpreted in realistic style — and I hope we can enjoy it together! 💜 👉 https://youtu.be/NTFolEEjfy8 submitted by /u/Dry_Entrepreneur2147 [link] [comments]
