Okay, so we all know the K-pop Demon Hunters Movie. Everyone loves the Saja boys! The K-pop industry is really missing out on making a K-pop group with the concept of them being demon’s trying to steal people souls. Your idol has to be one of the top songs from the movie discography. Does a group like this already exist? Thoughts? submitted by /u/Douxie0226 [link] [comments]
It's funny how this story starts, but the combination of these isolated facts resulted in the discovery of one of the Best K-Pop Girl Groups of All Time! The universe had plans for me to find them after 5 years! It was indeed destiny! It all started in 2019, between the months of February and March. At that time I frequented a friend's house (let's call him Mauro) a lot, together with another friend (this one will be called Henrique). Some of these times, Henrique would always search YouTube for "cute/happy gay couples", as that was Mauro's weak spot. Because he was sensitive to that content, Mauro could hardly contain his emotions and ended up getting emotional. Whenever this happened, Henrique, with great enthusiasm, celebrated saying "I did it, man!!! I did it!!!". The reason this happened was because, according to Mauro, "he knew he would never have that". In order to calm Mauro down, I told him that one day he would achieve that, but he didn't seem to be very convinced of that. The point is that one of these videos had caught my attention. In one of these videos there was a nice song to listen to, from the beginning to the end. On the same day, I had the idea of writing down the name of the video on a piece of paper, so that I could get the song by it later. According to my notes, the name of the video was "cute couples/cute couples/cuts kisses/kisses [yaoi|asia]". The problem is that I wasted my time looking for him, and when I finally took the initiative, he was gone. This frustrated me at the time, because I had missed the opportunity to hear a cool song and add it to my playlist. Later that year, and later, in 2021, all attempts to find that video had failed. I searched for "cute/happy gay couples" or "cute anime/kpop songs" but none of the results matched what I was looking for. One time, late at night, in 2022, I was randomly changing channels on television and ended up on Record News. Out of curiosity, I watched the news for a bit, and one of them caught my attention. At one point, they played excerpts from a music video, which at the time was being released by a K-Pop group, and the little I saw was enough to make me interested in it. The song was not only pleasant, but the visual effects were very eye-catching, with a very interesting aesthetic. It was the song "Talk that Talk". I remember watching it a few days after it was released, between the end of August and the beginning of September. I listened to it for a while, but then I lost that habit. The name was saved, but I never got to know the group she belonged to. Then comes July 20, 2024, which can be considered the trigger for everything! I was browsing YouTube when I found a video of a report from the program "Hoje em Dia" about the K-Pop phenomenon in Brazil and around the world. In this report, there was a lot of talk about BTS coming to Brazil, and a little about other K-Pop groups. At a specific moment in the report, a female group appeared for a few seconds. The little I could hear of the music playing in the background was enough to spark genuine interest in me. Her vibe was really nice to hear, similar to what I had heard back in 2019, which really excited me! Finding what appeared to be the song's music video, I opened the video and my happiness couldn't have been any different! It was literally that song I was looking for 5 years ago! The feeling of finding something you've been looking for for a long time is one of the best there is! My feeling of satisfaction was so noticeable that I downloaded the video clip on the same day! It was the song "TT", from 2016, which not long after, I discovered belonged to the same group that had released "Talk that Talk". It was with this peak of vibrant emotions that I was introduced to the group TWICE! From then on, I gradually got to know the group's members and songs, which consequently made me like them more and more. Until a certain time, "TT" was my biggest favorite, until I discovered "LIKEY", from 2017. After that, I haven't stopped listening to it! Currently, these are the songs I like most from the group, including the recent release of "Strategy", from 2024 (later used in "K-Pop Demon Hunters"). I really like the group's other songs, but without a doubt, the ones I mentioned above are almost in my top 5! 2024 was without a doubt the year that I gave K-Pop a place in my heart! Now I can say with certainty that this is one of my favorite musical genres! What I would never have expected of myself at least 6 years ago... Before this taste was a little more "shy" and without much expression, also motivated by a certain prejudice, however, it flourished organically over time. Without a doubt, meeting TWICE was one of the best surprises I've had in my life, and becoming an ONCE is really fun! Even though they had a 9-year career at the time I met them, TWICE proved to be a very strong group in the industry, and that's really incredible! I felt inspired to make this post because this October, TWICE will complete 10 years of career since their debut on October 20, 2015 and that is spectacular!!! I couldn't let something like this go unnoticed, given the positive impact this group had on me in just 1 year!!! submitted by /u/Silly_Remote9107 [link] [comments]

I'm not saying it's a good or bad thing, it's just something i've noticed. For instance, even as a hardcore MIDZY, i would have zero clue that they were going to have a japanese comeback if I didn't follow lots of fan accounts. Their japan youtube is absolutely desolate its not even funny. The dance challenge for their new song...? The song JUST managed to reach a million views, and I don't think it's even about the song, it's literally because most people don't even know they had a comeback. Although, it reached #1 on oricon chart, which is a huge achievement. Algorythym wasn't my cup of tea (reminded me of a nursery rhyme lol) but I think it did better in terms of people... Actually knowing they had a cb. Sometimes I feel like their management depends too much on their hardcore fans to promote them. But it works most of the time, anyway. What do you guys think? Genuinely curious. submitted by /u/Gold_Meaning3688 [link] [comments]

As the title says, it really annoys me when people in the comments act like their idols are still innocent. For example, under Seungmin’s straykids video where he used the Scott and Zelda audio by BIBI, I saw so many people writing “he doesn’t know the lyrics” or “he’s too innocent for this audio.” Guys… he’s 25 years old. submitted by /u/Impressive_Bar4029 [link] [comments]
