In Kpop landscape groups generally tend to derive inspiration from already successful kpop groups be it their sound, concept or branding.Therefore I have seen groups with unique vision and sound get recognisition quite early For eg Aside from The Tarzen controversy ADP is quite well recieved in korea bcoz they are the first Co-ed group from a big company in a while, similarly people tuned in for Katseye from the get go bcoz the concept of Global girl group was quite unique...although they are the second global girl group but JYP fumbled hard with Vcha...but that's a seperate story. New Jeans immediately caught attention bcoz of their unique branding and musical and l Xlov are getting lots of praises lately...But Nmixx debuted the same time around Le Sserafim, New Jeans with a very unique sound an sound and concept...I don't think any group in kpop have tried mixxpop with the way Nmixx did un a way they were quite unique among their peers.But why is that so??
