Am I the only one who thinks they’re growing at a crazy speed? Honestly, I feel like they’ve released one of, if not the best boy group music, in the last two years. No Doubt, Bad Desire, Moonstruck, Brought The Heat Back, Loose....no skips, no filler...just solid tracks and real growth. I think ENHYPEN is one major global hit away from cementing themselves as the next big boy group in the game. The foundation is already there, they just need that breakout moment to seal it..maybe we’re just not noticing how fast they’re actually growing? Right now, I believe they’re still behind SKZ, which means they’re still growing and haven’t hit their peak yet. If I remember correctly, they were even further behind before...so the progress is real. submitted by /u/IceMysterious3057 [link] [comments]

Dispite being an active fan in many spaces, I typically wasn't active online until the pandemic. Then I joined Twitter for non kpop related fandoms. When Twitter started become bad, I and most of the people I followed left. Now, I want to be active in the online kpop fandom for some of the groups I follow, but I'm unsure what sites are best to try to make fandom friends. I'm in my late 20s if that's relevant as I know it was when it came to what platform people used in other fandoms I was in. So, if anyone's willing to help me figure out where everyone is hanging out, id appreciate it. I'm a stay, tomoon, and evol if that helps. Originally introduced to fans as 'WUZO Circle' they would end up debuting underneath the team name 'Blitzers' on May 12th 2021 with 'Check In' and the title track 'Breathe Again' which gained a lot of positive attention, earning them the title of hot debut. The last comeback was last year in 2024 with the EP 'Lunch Box', while in 2023 they'd release 'Macarena' (which also included the song Question Mark) and taking part in an OST for the Drama 'Jun&Jun'. They would do different promotions for the group from appearing on Peak Time as Team 9:00 also in 2023 to performing/competing on Britain's Got Talent which got mixed reactions from people both outside/inside the fandom. While I do fully agree that promoting a group and being an artist is super super difficult and there's a lot of things going on behind the scenes that we don't see, and I understand that some fans have left due to lack of content, and constant uploads (which is unreachable for many groups from smaller companies in general and is a whole other conversation), they are still a great group regardless, the members working overtime and trying to get new attention and keep doing music. For example, truthfully I didn't believe that the social media I got suggested was actually Chris at first until he started doing livestreams and posting more videos (around the time he got eliminated from Boys Planet II). He has started to be more consistent on his SNS, even making a TikTok, SnapChat, and other content. From videos like; What Chris Does in 7 Eleven (Tokyo), What Chris does in the morning, Kpop Idol React Videos, Reacting to his performance on Boys Planet to revealing the unfortunate truth that he is working at cafes to make ends meet and that the group just can't afford a comeback. To say the least, BLITZERS is someone I have known for a long time, please do not think I am bashing them or upset in anyway, I just wanted to share now as a casual listener of the group as some might not know. Please do consider checking out their music and content on other platforms, although one of the members have left for personal reasons I genuinely believe they love performing on stage and making their art. I have a whole playlist on the group and can always suggest my favourite stage performances and songs as well. ♥️ submitted by /u/ElectricalGuitar554 [link] [comments]
Kpop idols are encouraged to feed into parasocialism by companies to make sure that you get invested in the idol so you spend more money on albums, concerts and other fan merchindise. That’s it. That’s all it boils down to. submitted by /u/detonatediamond [link] [comments]
