Armys have grown up now, like I remember the time when people hated IU just cause JK said she was his ideal type, or hating poor lisa because everybody shipped them. Even though some are jealous but at least nobody's hating on Alyssa makes me really happy. I mean they do look super hot together, you can't blame anyone đđ€đ» submitted by /u/minhancheol [link] [comments]
Have I lost my mind? Like is it just me or do you feel those ~vibes~ as well?? AHOF - debuting July 1st submitted by /u/Big-Aardvark-2431 [link] [comments]
I associate different kpop songs with seasons even if they weren't realised at that time. submitted by /u/DdeonghwaDib [link] [comments]
I came across several videos crowds gathering inside the sm building to take footage of trainees. At the beginning it used to be way less but it's starting to mimic airport crowds and honestly I'm concerned. Some of them are minors too, left alone to these crazy people morning and very late at night. Each day they get progressively worse, they get very close to the trainees, bump into them. Regarding sm's history with saesangs i just can't fathom it. I heard how they have their own staff sell info of artists & trainees to ss idk about that tho, seems crazy. How is it that years went by, internal things changed like ceo, centers, staff etc but they still can't manage this issue? submitted by /u/borawonderland [link] [comments]
As the title says I recently discovered a hidden love for Kpop! I'm looking for recommendations from you all, for a place to start I enjoyed songs like Lemon drop and Crazy form by ATEEZ, 1,2,3,4,5 by Stray Kidz, Air by Yeji, and Lucky one by Cosmosy. Sorry if this is a weird request but I'm dying for more stuff! For the record I like melodic but aggressive songs! Oh and that movie that recently came out Kpop Demon Hunters? Idol was hella catchy for me I loved it <3 stuff like that is what I seek thank you!! submitted by /u/Ravenclawthewarrior [link] [comments]
At this point I'm sure we've all seen cases of fans who are everywhere or mostly everywhere their favorite idol is. They go to almost all their concerts, they hog the fancalls (which is annoying, of course), and basically seek out ways to interact with them. It's gotten to the point where the idol can recognize these people. My question is, genuinely, what's wrong with that? I mean aside from being annoying and selfish that they don't let other fans have a chance to interact with the idols, especially with the fancalls, how is it bad? Is it the behavior? I mean, also, they're paying good money, I suppose. Is it nuanced? submitted by /u/Elle_Kim [link] [comments]
What is generally considered the standard for award shows in K-pop? It seems like since 2019, both MAMA and MMA have had the same winner for SOTY, so maybe there's not much difference? submitted by /u/SpecSlayerSC [link] [comments]
For me it would probably idle for girl groups and for boy groups it would be BTS. I know this kinda an unpopular opinion but I just never understand their concept and their music doesn't really have a sound they stick too...but prove me wrong if you want lol submitted by /u/Amaterialgrowll [link] [comments]

You need to stop bullying KIOF. What they did was wrong â YES. And they received A LOT of hate and serious consequences. But itâs been MONTHS since it happened, and theyâve apologized multiple times, on different dates and in different ways. I'm not even a fan of theirs, but honestly, I think youâre crossing the line now. Itâs totally fine if you donât want to listen to their music because you still canât forgive them â thatâs your choice. But youâre still actively insulting them and canceling the people who interact with them. Do you even realize how toxic that is? You talk about them like they committed murder. Theyâve already lost a lot â fans, respect, opportunities. But they have apologized. Multiple times. Youâre not any better than the Korean society that cancels people over the smallest mistakes. And later, youâll be the same person preaching about the importance of mental health. Let me ask you this: What would you do if you made a mistake and disappointed a lot of fans? What if, months later, you were still receiving hate despite having sincerely apologized several times? What if even the people who interact with you started getting attacked, too? You were doing a good job at first â speaking up about the issue, raising awareness, unfollowing them if they lost your respect. Thatâs valid. But now youâve gone too far. Stop with the insults and the hate toward those who associate with them. That helps no one â especially not when the people involved have already taken responsibility. So what do you want? For them to disappear forever over one mistake? What a rotten world we live in. Youâre not any better than the society you criticize. Youâre fighting hate with more hate â and that doesnât make you righteous. It just makes you part of the same problem. submitted by /u/suaplanet [link] [comments]

Chris Appelhans, the creator of the viral Netflix show "K-Pop Demon Hunters," revealed how BTS inspired the project. During the COVID pandemic, Appelhans and Maggie began planning the film amidst global isolation. BTS's online concert, where millions sang and danced to "Dynamite," brought a sense of unity and hope. This moment influenced the creators to craft a film that blends fun, trends, and bold action while capturing the power of music to unite and overcome darkness. The film aims to replicate the experience BTS provided through its characters' journey and music. https://m.entertain.naver.com/home/article/109/0005335485 submitted by /u/Gisntd [link] [comments]
The group is called DIVA X â they dropped âI Make My Choiceâ two days ago and it barely cracked 2.5k views. Almost no social presence, no real hype, and their 90-minute debut showcase got like 20 live comments total. One of the members apparently used to dance for HyunA, which makes the silence around this even weirder. I did a reaction because literally no one else had. đ Hereâs the video if you want to watch it with me Itâs cold, stripped down, not viral bait â but it kind of stuck in my head. Not saying itâs a masterpiece, but it feels like one of those low-key debuts people might rediscover later. What do yâall think? submitted by /u/DJJonOfficial [link] [comments]
I just wanted to say how gross, disgusting and tone deaf that is. I canât expect anything else from the shittiest label out there, but Blinks should continue to donate for the trucks and refund their tickets to hit YG where it hurts. Heâll change when he sees half full arenas and half full stadiums. submitted by /u/CosmicCuriosity04 [link] [comments]
I am a multistan and listen to a lot of groups from 2nd to 5th gen, so give it a try (although, im sorry in advance if I don't know the group) submitted by /u/Ohcheejun [link] [comments]
The way heâs throwing gang signs, holding his chain and showboating just comes off as so corny and inauthentic. Like there is no reason to be doing all that, he looks like every other corny asian rapper imitating what they think hip hop is. Iâm tired of asian men behaving this way as a costume just to go back to Korea and act like their normal selves again. Itâs so corny For reference itâs at the beginning of this video https://youtu.be/LUMaHWJwmbo?si=fe7kPUsM41t2Yc3r I tried to post about it in another sub but got reported and sent 2 reddit cares messages in the span of 5 minutes lol.
