Did you learn something from an idol/group which changed your mindset towards certain things in your life?

It could be anything from fun to something really good. I learnt a lot things in my life from bts and I have noticed how I looked at few things differently because of them. Namjoon: There was in this point in my life 2 years ago where I was depressed and I'd see Namjoon being all optimistic and positive. I think that kind of seeped into me and helped me get out of depression to an extent. Jin: I struggle a lot with self esteem. His music helped me a lot to keep on trying in life and to not feel bad when I don't achieve something. I feel like if I have any amount of self esteem today it's because of him. It might seem weird but I started to love and take care of myself by watching him do it for himself. Yoongi: I struggle with anxiety and yoongi really helped me face some difficult situations in my life. Yoongi really helped to be empathetic and to not judge people a lot. Jungkook: like I mentioned struggling 2 years ago and Jungkook really helped to get that fighting spirit into me. He made me fight for things. It's because of him now whenever I try to do something I make sure to give my best and win it. I can proudly say that if I am a less of a looser I was a few years ago It's all because of bts. So what's something you learnt? submitted by /u/Sharp_Gur4897 [link] [comments]

1.664. I’m seeking support for Golden. The song is lacking radio support in order to reach #1 on the billboard 100. I knew this was the best place to go, because I know that a lot of you have experience with this, so I knew you guys would have methods.

I need strategies, and support. As of right now, the radio streaming disparity between ordinary and golden are massive. I'd like to say it's because Alex Warren is American, but no one really wants to hear that. So the real question is, how do we get the same type of radio attention. I personally think it'd be a huge win for kpop, especially for a group not BTS to have a number 1 song. So l'm asking for support, in order to get the song to number 1. Please call radios and DJ's and tell them to stream the song. submitted by /u/calmrestsleep [link] [comments]

for me i’d say (excluding gen1 bc i don’t interact with it) 2nd gen: Qri T-ara, or Dara 2ne1? both kept that youthful look for so long. 3rd gen: Jisoo and Irene. Are we surprised? 4th gen: Karina. She literally looks fake. 5th gen: Maybe… Jiwoo Hearts2Hearts? submitted by /u/osopeospwkxnmx [link] [comments]

1.671. Kpop fan voting awards have never been organic!!!!

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I'm a new fan of this rookie group and a few days ago they surpassed BTS and Straykids in Duckad contest and to no surprise of anyone the toxic part of Army and Stay popped out left and right... until now I see posts and comments no matter how many I mute and block. They're so mad that some unknown rookie group could garner points that they've created narratives and spreading it around like it's factual that it's all payola, the company is buying all the votes, the fandom are all bots, they are hacking the duckad app etc because their train of thought is that it's impossible for a rookie group they've never even heard of to get hundreds of millions of votes especially one who just debuted last month. They're so mad at the thought of buying votes even like somehow it's illegal to do it... it's not. And for sure everybody in that app purchases vts. Heck the solo girl group has receipts and they are proud to have spent $510,000 on Wonyoung ending with 6 Billions vts total for her. But no they're going on about fairness, clean competition, organic.. HUH? My brother and sisters from another planet there has never been a time where in voting kpop groups is organic. Even if you don't pay for points people have been creating multiple accounts just to jump up their stans. Omfg. What even is this narrative? The victimizing because they "spent 24/7 grinding on the app"... nobody is even forcing you to do that?? Like you have people in your fandom saying they have 100 million and 200 million etc etc saved up so they're going to win this easy yada yada which just makes all this worse because if you can win easy then what is all this whining for? They're even targeting the rookie group itself saying how they don't deserve to win this because they've not done enough. They're not hard working. They haven't gone through enough hardship. It's all fake. Excuse me?? As a Carat who is still bitter about MAMA 2019 (iykyk) the way these toxic people are using these excuses to belittle and hate on a rookie group doesn't sit right with me. Your group is not better than this rookie because EVERY voting awards out there that is fan focused will never ever be "organic" I'm mad af for this rookie fandom because of these egoistic toxic group of people who are too loud for their own good. Mind you the contest is still ongoing and yet they're going on and on. I want this rookie group to win but good lord I can already imagine how much crying will happen if they do so. Maybe Exol can drop 2 billion vts before the deadline? 😏 You know what's even funnier? They're shooing away even the people in their fandom too for being multistan. Calling them traitors and fake fans because how dare they be a fan of multiple group since some people actually visited the social medias of the rookie group to check them out and they're leaving comments saying they're good, handsome, I'm a fan etc. So I guess at least that is one positive. New fans lol. submitted by /u/Unique-Horror-9244 [link] [comments]

1.675. Love how Taehyun called out this person

Context: This person apparently saw Taehyun hanging out in his private time and decided to post it on weverse, and this was Taehyun's reply. Taehyun has never been the one to shy away from calling out fans or setting boundaries, and I'm glad he continues to be that way. Massive side eye to that OP. This was clearly his private time and it wasn't supposed to be posted. Worse, the OP even posted it in real time, when he could have potentially been around that area, which would have given other "fans" the opportunity to look for him or stalk him submitted by /u/ilovemeeeeee [link] [comments]

1.678. Do you think there will come a time where Big 3 monopoly will come to an end?

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Do you guys think there will eventually come a time where the Big 3 won’t be monopolizing the industry anymore and other companies will take over? Obviously, the Big 3’s legacy is huge - even if one of their groups doesn’t blow up to some crazy level, they’ll still pull a big fandom just from the name alone. But lately, it feels like things are shifting a bit, and I've been into Kpop since 2007. HYBE has for sure cemented their place as a leader in the industry, nobody can deny that. The Black Label and Starship have also been doing really well recently. Meanwhile, YG doesn’t have much going on at the moment, JYP doesn't seem to be hitting big with their groups, and SM just debuted a new group - it’s still too early to say anything, but they’re not making the same level of noise as before. It makes me wonder if the market now has more room for other companies to grow big and maybe even take over that Big 3 in the future. What do you think? Could that happen eventually? submitted by /u/Special-Ad6201 [link] [comments]
