Fans discovering new idols: "hey you're very talented and good looking, i want to get to know you!" -JYPE groups: "oh thank you, here's a ton of variety content so you get to know us and like us more" -HYBE groups: "hey friend, we will go on variety shows AND we wil film our own shows to make sure you spend a lot of time with us" -nugu companies groups: "we will try our best even though we cant afford it" YG/THE BLACK LABEL groups: "yeah, tough shit" Ps: me getting into IZNA recently (and baby monster before it) and not finding like 10 hours of variety footage is what inspired this posts. submitted by /u/alikamal48 [link] [comments]

I know this might still be too early but I am honestly so excited about the new album. Especially since they told us to anticipate it π Namjoon saying they want to talk to us about everything through their music...it's really going top be an emotional rollercoaster. Not only is it going to be mega successful, it's also going to be emotionally impactful. They said they're getting started on the album soon but I honestly hope they take their time to arrange their thoughts. I submitted by /u/sharathna321 [link] [comments]
It's like saying "our kid tries really hard, if this school had better teachers maybe he wouldn't be so stupid." Just kind of unnecessary damage being done to the person you're trying to look out for. I searched kpopthoughts, this comes up sporadically for both boy and girl idols, but it seems to be trending with SM/aespa. Not that degrading a boy group is any better, but it's kind of weird hearing this specific phrase used repeatedly about a girl group, especially when the metaphor keeps getting extended. If we could get this one basic boundary down when you're writing a post about how evil SM is, but also casually bringing up that you go to all of aespa's concerts and think they're overpriced, that would be great. submitted by /u/abyssazaur [link] [comments]
Wonhee(illit), Anna(Meovv), Mai (Izna), Gehlee(Unis), Ian(H2H), Pharita (Babymoster), Haum (kiiikiii) and Manon(Katseye) though they aren't kpop . I'm just curious to see the kind of performance they'd deliver. Who would you like to see do a collab? submitted by /u/Fast-Championship694 [link] [comments]

I wonder what you think about idols groups names. I think that companies sometimes downplay that naming group can be actually big help or big disadvantage to boost popularity. For example when it comes to BTS it's abbreviation for behind the scenes or be there soon. So even people that didn't knew about them could get recommendations just by searching behind the scenes content. And on another spectrum there are groups like XEED that needed to change the name and choose XD. Which in my opinion can be disadvantage. Some streaming services requires to put 3 letters name to find the group which can make it much harder to find. Also groups like &Team can be hard to find and type when you are searching for them. Do you think that companies should take this more seriously? submitted by /u/TruthApprehensive304 [link] [comments]
So Iβm a new Irene fan, and I was shocked by how lowkey that woman is. I know sheβs a private person but I didnβt realize sheβs THAT private... like she barely updates and when i checked her instagram, her last post was from months ago bro, i was culture shocked i feel like stanning a boy group member who's currently serving in the military cuz i used to stan an idol who post almost every day but with her, we have to rely on other people for updates and new pictures of her π submitted by /u/MathFew4245 [link] [comments]
Both groups finished their concert tours/comeback promotions not long ago (at least from my pov) and both already announced new tours and comebacks (nct will probably announce in late june). It feels like SM is just hungry for money and they're milking their most profitable groups at the moment dry. Idk, what do you guys think? submitted by /u/jp_brvix [link] [comments]

The girls released a fan chant for it, they'll be promoting it as well as gwbg. I hope it gets enough attention because a lot of MIDZYS loved it β€ submitted by /u/Gold_Meaning3688 [link] [comments]
Like WDYM that we're getting a Japanese album (WITH 9 SONGSSS???) right after a full Korean Album (with 14 songs)? And all this with their headlining Lollapalooza in August and the World Tour leg 1 kicking off? (With 360 degrees seating for every venue) And a Chaelo album later this year? They were selling TWICE5 just one or two months ago, MiSaMo's JAPAN DOME TOUR 2024 βHAUTE COUTUREβ is topping the Oricon Charts right now and had the biggest debut on DVD, BluRay Weekly Charts surpassing their Japan Showcase "Masterpiece"! Their 6th Album "Enemy" 8th Anniversary Collection Box that came out just today, sold out within 17-18 minutes? TWICE giving us a BANGER of a Year! <3 submitted by /u/Late_Art9758 [link] [comments]

I watched Namjoon's live and my God that place is hell. Summary is that,he developed insomnia, got scolded alot and was told to forget whoever he was outside of the military, went 78hrs without sleep and apparently got bitten by a venomous snake??(question mark cause I'm not sure if that was the correct translation or if it was a mistake) and going through all that...is it really worth it? I've seen alot of interviews of other men who also once enlisted and it's all thesame. They call it hell and a horrible place. Taehyung told Jin it was scary,Jhope didn't even want any reminders of that place when he came out. Same for Jin. Is it really worth it? What is the point? Why send people to such a horrible place and even make it a must. So many people go through great lengths to even avoid going altogether. To think that so many male idols will face thesame faith is so scary. What is the point? submitted by /u/lilacprincess03 [link] [comments]
As a ONCE, these past few months have been... Unreal... I am not familiar to how Twice was back in their rookie days since I started stanning them in 2024. I was amazed at how active they were in 2024 for a 9 year old group. 2 mini albums, 1 Japanese album, 1 subunit mini album, 2 solo albums, 1 single as a featured artist and another Japanese single... Continuation of the world tour followed by a subunit tour in the latter half of the year. 50 new songs in just 1 year. I thought they would slow down this year since last year seemed crazy. However in 2025 we have released / confirmed 1 Misamo single 3 JP versions of songs 2 features (Coldplay - Twice & Tayla Parx - Nayeon) 1 Nayeon single (cover of a Japanese song) 1 subunit single (Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Chaeyoung OST for KPop Demon Hunters, a Netflix movie) 14 new Korean release songs (full album) 9 new Japanese songs (JP album) = 31 songs (until the end of August) Confirmed Chaeyoung solo within this year World Tour Has there been any group in KPop history which is as prolific as Twice? Please tell me as I am quite curious! submitted by /u/GaurdsGuards [link] [comments]
