I say this after how the reaction to Karina's waterbomb performance was.... a little harsh, Id say. I hope people can understand that Aespa is tired, worked to the bone, so it makes sense why she didn't look 100% at waterbomb. This goes for all performers, not all stage they put on will be totally perfect. It happens. Also, the organizers set her up by making her do some group songs. It makes sense why the performance wasn't completely up to snuff, and it has nothing to do with Karina herself. She's still a good performer just put into an unfortunate position there. Synths open up the track as the sweet vocals come into the mix, reminding me of something from their Korean discography. The hook explodes with color as it's been getting stuck in my head a lot recently. The more I hear this track and Bloom I find that the tws sound works wonderfully with the Japanese. The guitars update the vibe of this tune, but still keep that spark the original has. The vocals still sound as smooth as they were in 2017. The hook is still as catchy as it was when I first heard it. Hearing these new remixes from Momoland feels a little weird, but exciting at the same time. One thing I love about this track is that the vocals aren't in your face, they flow smoothly with the vibe of the song, fitting the vibe perfectly. The hook has a pop-rock OST vibe that works well with the instrumental the producers crafted. Now the singer drops a solo version of the track, and I was curious to see if I liked this version more than the original. Solar's voice still works wonderfully with the instrumental that makes this tune bouncy. I find myself enjoying Solar's vocals more than 9m88, which is one reason I'm liking the solo version more. The bouncy hook works well, pulling me back for more. I don't hate the original version as I've listened to it a few times already. Why are fans so obsessed to know their idol's tattoos? Like, I don't get it when they try to inspect photos in hopes of seeing it or them going crazy when they finally see it. Idk. I am inked too, but I don't like it when people ask for the meaning of my tattoos or when they want to see it, unless there's an instance where it is exposed (wearing sleeveless/swimwear). Blackpink had their first concert in Seoul today and ofc you know who watched every second of that concert Armys. They are obsessed at this point. Does kpop revolve around visuals? Yes. It's a major part of marketability and is in addition, a tool to expand a group's popularity. But when kpop fans go too far with the visual rankings, demeaning a person's worth to only their appearance, as well as just calling the idol ugly, is just so wrong. I just saw a vid praising eunwoo's visuals, then a bunch a v stans rained hell in the comment section. I only commented when I saw a joshua mention, because he's my fav visual in kpop subjectively. Then other fans started saying, "Joshua's no way near the attractiveness of v or eunwoo," and similar comments. It just upsetted me the way people are casually insulting idol's appearance.
