Look at blackpink,undoubtedly the most hated kpop group on social media. While every kpop space hates them since 2018,especially kpop reddit and kpop instagram,they're thriving irl. They're some of the most recognizable and famous active singers right now,their releases break streaming and sales records,both solo and group ones,despite the fact they go on hiatus for years. They hold the record for the most attended gg tour in the world and they make millions each stops A good 4th gen example is lesserafim. Twitter hates their guts and they went through a huge online hate train last year but they are really popular and loved irl. The gp loves their songs (look at crazy and perfect night),they sell hundreds of thousands of copies and as far as I know sold out their tour. So the conclusion is that internet hate doesn't matter irl. Antis don't have the impact they think they do. A tweet or a reddit thread or a hate reel doesn't matter when the hated groups have millions of royal fans who clearly show up for them and draw out the hate.
