The winner of day 5 was... Ateez Bouncy! This is our groups debute song! Today is day 6 part 1 which mean the question is who is your current bias wrecker! As we need more female idols in our group, so Wonyoung isn't on here own, I'm making it so the question is ONLY for female idols. You can choose your femal ult bias wrecker, or your bias wrecker from your favourite female group, or even your 2nd favourite female soloist. Since this is choosing a member not a song votes do matter for this one! đđđ â„ïž Group Name: Twice â„ïž Members: Felix, Wonyoung, Bang Chan, Kihyun, ??, ??, ??, ??, ??, ?? â„ïž Pre-Debute song: Black Swan â„ïž Debute Song: Bouncy â„ïž Special Collab: ?? â„ïž First Album: ?? đđđ Info: âDue to people downvoting comments.. if you want your vote to definitely count make sure to comment your idol, as well as upvoting comments from others that mention them!! âDays where idols are chosen will be repeated so we will end up with 10 members in total at the end. âPlease only choose one idol to comment otherwise your comments won't count. âMultiple comments for the same idol by the same person only count as one vote!! submitted by /u/xunyomi [link] [comments]

Hey fellow K-Pop fans! đ I'm working on a super fun and unique project for a friend's birthday and I'd absolutely love your help! I'm creating a K-Pop themed version of the classic mystery board game, Dreamphone! For those who might not know, Dreamphone is all about calling different "boys" on a toy phone and getting clues from their messages to figure out which one has a secret crush on you. It's a blast of a game, and I'm putting a K-Pop spin on it with male idols! While I love listening to K-Pop, my knowledge of who's who and all their amazing traits isn't quite at expert level, and that's where you wonderful people come in! I've built the game using Python (nerdy, I know! đ), but I really want it to feel authentic to the K-Pop world. I need to categorize the idols into four different groups, and I'm looking for some brilliant suggestions from the fandom! Right now, I have: Animal Vibe (e.g., puppy, cat, fox) (though I've heard not every idol has a distinct "animal vibe," so open to changes here!) Role in Group (e.g., leader, main dancer, visual) Hair Color Personality Trait Do you have any suggestions for better or more common categories that really define K-Pop idols? Or maybe ways to refine the ones I have? I'm open to all ideas! Also, to make the "calls" even more immersive, I want to add actual soundbites of the idols speaking. I'm torn between using AI voice generation or carefully cutting voice clips from existing videos. What do you think would be the best approach for an authentic and fun experience? Any pros and cons to either method from your perspective? I've got my initial list of idols below, and feel free to comment on it â just please keep it constructive! Your insights would be a massive help in making this birthday gift extra special. Thank you so much in advance for your K-Pop wisdom! Is anyone else confused about how award shows are going to handle the âRookie of the Yearâ (ROTY) awards this year? With how well Allday Project has been doing on the charts â and now even getting their first music show win â it seems like a no-brainer that theyâll be a strong contender for ROTY at multiple year-end award shows. But hereâs where it gets tricky: since theyâre a co-ed group, they donât fit neatly into the usual male or female categories. So how are these award shows going to sort that out? Will they bring back the older format and combine the categories into one general âBest New Artistâ award, instead of splitting it into male and female? Honestly, that might be the better option â it would make the competition tougher and the award itself feel more meaningful. Sometimes it feels like certain groups win by default just because thereâs only one standout in their gender category. A combined category would raise the bar. Another option could be putting Allday Project in both male and female categories â but that doesnât really make sense and could end up confusing people or even causing controversy, especially if they win one and not the other. Curious to see how this plays out, but itâs definitely something award shows need to address clearly. I know not all award shows have 2 categories but Iâm mainly talking about MAMA submitted by /u/dahxnn [link] [comments]
Iâve listened to a bunch of underground music from a bunch of different genres (Rap, R&B, Rock, Indie, etc), but the K-pop underground scene is one that truly stands out to me on a level the other underground scenes donât. I always see people talk about the rap underground scene and how âUntilJapan is gonna go mainstream!â (he wonât btw). I also always see people talk about the Indie underground scene and how amazing Jane Remover is (they arenât wrong), but I never see anyone talk about the K-pop underground scene. Maybe Iâm just not looking in the right places for talk about underground K-pop, but that scene truly has some gems of artists I canât even begin to describe how good they are. My favorite underground K-pop artists are Silly Silky, Luci Gang, Serri, and jiae. If anyone reading this is tapped in to the underground K-pop scene, who is your favorite? (Btw, Iâm not entirely sure this post fits the theme of this subreddit, Iâm just posting it here cuz it got removed from r/Kpop for some reason) submitted by /u/locomotiveplayz [link] [comments]

I finally watched Kpop Demon Hunters and thought it was fine for a kidsâ movie. Based on what everyone was saying about it, I expected the soundtrack to blow me away, and perhaps my expectations were set too high. Iâll give credit to the music production team for doing an amazing job of reproducing shitty K-pop music. One of the only songs that was kind of good, Golden, sounds exactly like I Am by IVE, to the point that itâs pretty much a direct ripoff. Like âyou can copy from me, just change a few things so the teacher doesnât knowâ levels of derivative. You canât convince me that these songs, if released by actual K-pop groups this year, would be anywhere even near as popular. The group that released Your Idol would be accused of copying BTS, the one that released Golden would be accused (hardly without merit) of copying IVE, Soda Pop would be the generic bubblegum sellout song that every boy group fan has nightmares about, and How Itâs Done would be just another excretion from the Teddy dogshit factory. If youâre one who has been saying that the soundtrack is âso much better than recent K-pop songs,â you now canât complain about K-pop becoming too westernized, soulless, or manufactured, because music doesnât get any more westernized and manufactured than songs for a high-budget animated childrenâs film, created by an American studio for consumption specifically by western audiences. Iâm old enough to remember the cultural frenzy that bloomed around the very first High School Musical. After seeing the response to this movie, I was reminded of that. I guess every generation needs its own silly kidsâ musical with decent-but-disposable songs to freak out over. And if some people who wouldnât bother before end up checking out actual K-pop music, then I guess itâs a win overall. That being said, if they make a sequel (which seems likely), what is the next song you want them to make a discount version of, the way Golden is a discount I Am. Iâm personally hoping for discount Guerrilla. submitted by /u/eveningsnewestetoile [link] [comments]

dewy + matte-ish base has been in-trend for a while. i feel weâre bound to see a girl group with a natural, girl next door look where all members wear seemingly-little-to-no-makeup. whatâs the next makeup trend in your opinion? submitted by /u/avairaa [link] [comments]

One of the best Kpop tracks released this year but I don't really see many talk about it. submitted by /u/BBAomega [link] [comments]
let me preface by saying that this is NOT a dig at the boys at all!! i thought they all performed super well and were very entertaining!! this is simply me just getting this rant off my chest lol. i cannot stress enough that this was a 100% genuine experience, and i am still reeling from it almost a week later. okay so, i am a very, very casual skz fan. i havenât really kept up with comebacks or content, i basically only know their title tracks. my friend however, is a MASSIVE stay. like absolutely obsessed, so when she heard they were coming to our city, she immediately bought tickets. the friend she had invited originally backed out last minute, so i went with her so that she a) didnât have to go alone, and b) she didnât waste like, $600 on a ticket for nobody. i honestly didnât even really think much of it in terms of concert prep or outfit, i wasnât super dressed up since we had floor seats and there was like, zero chance of interaction. i did wear platform heels though(which will come into play later on), because the venue didnât have an angled floor, meaning that i wouldnât have had the best view if i wore regular, non-lifted shoes (short). we got to the venue about 30-ish minutes before the show was supposed to start (again, we had seats so we werenât about to fight people to get in), and the crowd was MASSIVE. way bigger than i was expecting. there was a bit of a rush when the doors opened, but nothing crazy. we beeped in our tickets and just started walking around, familiarizing ourselves with the venue. it was the first day this venue was open to the public, so we were just trying to take it all in. as soon as we got properly into the venue though, the runners spawned out of nowhere. we had to keep bobbing and weaving out of peoples was as they barrelled towards the floors, even as security was shouting at them to slow down. still, it wasnât a big issue, and i could tell that they were all just excited, so i didnât pay any mind to it. we picked up some merch and a lightstick to share between us and headed to our seats as they started their opening song. this is where i got a little annoyed. we had decent seats, on the floor and near one of the mixing booths, but as we arrived at our seats, there were already people sitting down in them. we bought two seats, and there were five girls, all of them seemingly with each other, crowded around. two were standing in front of our seats, and three were standing in the aisle, blocking up the walkway. we gently told them that they were in our seats, and they just laughed amongst themselves. we just kinda stood there for a moment because what??? we told them again, and we got a chorus of grumbles and eye rolls, but the two girls who were standing shuffled out and moved to join the other three. they however, did not move out of the aisle, choosing instead to just. stand there. i got fed up and just pushed through them, not really giving a shit at this point. once my friend and i had our seats secured, the girls still made no effort to move out of the aisle, leaving us to be squished between them and the two girls in the seats beside ours. not fun, but my friend didnât seem to care much, so i just shrugged it off. she had the inner seat, so that meant that i was the one having direct contact with these girls. they DID NOT move. for basically the entire concert. i had to keep bumping them every time they tried to step in front of me, and they made it a point to obscure my view with their phones and lightsticks. the venue staff and security did fuck all too, which just made everything worse. i was pretty annoyed about halfway through the show, and my platforms were beginning to hurt my feet, so i made the conscious decision to sit down. i wasnât able to see the stage either way, so i figured iâd save my ankles the torture for the next couple of songs. they then (very loudly) began complaining and making broad comments along the lines of âoooh itâs so unfair that people that donât even like skz as much as we do got tickets for this concert, what a wasteâ yada yada. i am old (23), and i have been in the kpop/fandom sphere for over a decade, this was not my first kpop concert rodeo, so i tried once again to not let it bother me. clearly these girls were huge fans, and probably had shitty seats, so if standing here makes their experience better (ignoring obvious safety and fire hazards), then whatever. just as they start to quiet down, i feel a tap on my shoulder. i look up at the group of girls, where they actually, genuinely asked me to give up my seat so that they can stand there. i just sort of went âno?â and they tried to HAGGLE, saying that they have seats further in the back but still on the floors, and that iâm sitting anyways so who cares, and that THEY are uncomfortable because theyâre all squished in. i genuinely thought i was hallucinating or didnât hear them correctly, so i just sort of laughed awkwardly. i guess they didnât like that, so they continued to try and argue that iâve been sitting on my phone the entire time, so why should i even care? i explained that i was here with my friend, and they said that i could just meet up with them after. at this point i just told them to fuck off, and ignored them. they continued to try and press in front of me (literally in the little gap between my seat and the seat in front of me), so i just stayed seated. we had the two final seats in our row on the right hand side of the section, and if you didnât know, the boys get on carts and move around the venue during their encore. the tracks/path that they were following were to our left, so we were still pretty far away, but it was still cool to see them slightly closer to us. once the carts began passing by our section, the girls that had been giving us (me) problems straight up pushed us out of the way, knocking our seats back (they were folding chairs, so they werenât secured to the ground) and ran down the row to get closer to the left hand side. the chairs moved so far back that the knocked into the girls standing behind us, who were thankfully very understanding when we turned around to apologize. this group of girls crowded up on the right hand side, and as the carts were passing us and moving on to the next section, they ran back towards us, pushing by again and bolting to follow the cart. they thankfully didnât come back to our section after that, and we didnât see them again. iâm just so surprised with this whole thing. i would understand the attitudes if we were in the pit, but these were literally seats, and it wasnât even one of the closer sections!! we were way far back. maybe iâm just an old head and donât understand current concert etiquette, but this should be pretty standard stuff, no?? either way, the boys themselves were great, they were all entertaining, even when they were just talking, and felix is stupidly attractive in person. seriously, that guy is otherworldly. this is just me blowing off steam because iâm still a little ticked off. has anyone else had a less than pleasant experience at a kpop show? skz or not? would love to hear your stories for self-validation purposes lol submitted by /u/Independent-Ease-276 [link] [comments]
So pretty much I was at Taipei immigration today as I entered the que for immigration, a few minutes later Meovv were queing behind me. Alot of people were pulling out phones and taking photos of them in-line when the area specifys not to take photos due to it being a passport control and the managers were asking people not to take photos. There were also fans who were pass immigration with professional cameras taking pictures of the girls in-line. Looking at this it feels disrespectful to people trying to get pass immigration and the people working, but i could be wrong lol. submitted by /u/thebosslol101 [link] [comments]
honestly it might be be a little helpful for fanwars but instead of the hate going to real people who dance and sing their butts off for 10+ years it goes to two fictional groups who do have real people behind them singing the songs and acting but still đ submitted by /u/time_work_ [link] [comments]
