That song was good i mean to me it didn't sound bad to cause any downfall. submitted by /u/dazaiyoupoorsoul [link] [comments]
Obviously not all, but whenever i speak anything about jennie it turns into a war on reddit š, once i commented under a post saying which female idol have the sexist stage presence and i kid u not, like eveyone rushed to the comments saying shit no bluh bluh, im like okay okay chill, its not that deep š . Whats the reason behind all this fire, i seriously never understand? Can anyone explain. submitted by /u/dazaiyoupoorsoul [link] [comments]
One of the biggest gray areas in K-pop right now is the way fans organize mass streaming and bulk buying efforts to boost their favorite idols on charts. Almost every single fanbase of popular groups do this. I've seen people here argue that this behavior distorts the reality of whoās actually popular, and most of the chart positions are gained through artificially inflated streams and sales. That it's just manipulation and fraud. We have seen these ''fraud'' allegations thrown at some of the biggest and most successful groups in Kpop either by fans of Western groups/western media and even Kpop fans themselves. Does mass buying and mass streaming (and also playlisting by the companies) devalue the meaning of success of the group itself? On the other hand, you could argue that this just shows dedication. Fans are investing time and money to support their idols in a system that already heavily favors numbers. And isn't that more important for any group that hopes to sustain in the long run especially in such a fast paced industry? What are your thoughts? Letās keep it a nuanced discussion please, not about targeting any specific fandom or group. submitted by /u/KpopDivas [link] [comments]
I mean yea i like Rosie, love where she is going, jisoo is not that visible tbh usually, so i cant say none about her, lisa im not sure i like her or not, she is just not my vibe. But jennie goshhh.....HER, SHE IS SOOO IMPACTFUL, ik yea she is the villain of kpop maybe that's the reason which make me like her, i always had a thing for bitchy characters, [in a good way] i mean whats wrong in knowing her worth, and what wrong in bragging about it, she earned it, come on not everyone needs to be down to earth, poeple r different, no she is not evil and stuff who do bad stuff. She is not shy or put on mask on omg soo down to earth and puts on a mask of sweetness and i like that about her sooo soo soo much. Then her song gosh all of those song, mantra, solo, love hangover, etc. All of them r sooo good, her lyrics her just perfect not corny and cringe, just enough to tell everyone IM HERE and i love that. Her stage performance are IMPACTFUL, like seriously all of her solo ones r soo sexy and that dark feminine energy, and the best part is she never looks like she's trying too hard, NEVER. NOW i know kpop stans and blinks will come at me, saying bluh bluh other members work hard too, or she doesn't deserve the hype, because other kpop stars had it rough. I mean yes they do but just because someone doesn't have a sob story doesn't mean they dont deserve it, u can hype your idol without trying to drag the successful one down. In the end, YES im NOT a blink, i dont really like them as a group [no hate], but i love JENNIE as a soloist, and even in group just in general I LOVE LOVE HER ATTITUDE. submitted by /u/dazaiyoupoorsoul [link] [comments]

Ever since his waterbomb performance dropped Iāve noticed how straight out mean and judgemental people have been to him. I get it, he can appear as Ā« cringe Ā» to a majority of people ( including me ) and that is not a reason to mock him on the internet like that. At the end of the day he is just a man in his 50s enjoying his kpop dream, yāall donāt have to make fun of him like that. We donāt know how comments like Ā« If iāve seen that you have to see it too Ā» are going to affect his mental. I know he is not the most unproblematic celebrity but being that harsh on him isnāt a solution. ( just to clarify, some of these comments are not Ā« harmless jokes Ā» some people made DISGUSTED faces when watching his performance ) submitted by /u/Elynuunn [link] [comments]
First Anna, now Annie love the representation for Ann(x) names! Iāve heard of the names in singing, like with Annie in Annie the musical, Anna from Frozen (lol) Now Anna in meovv and Annie in ADP! Any chance Annabelle can be reclaimed from horror /jkjk What names (or variations) speak to you in K-pop? Is there any favored letter for stage names or any avoided letter? submitted by /u/Temporary-Outside-21 [link] [comments]
---- SPOILERS AHEAD ----- ATEEZ just performed their song In Your Fantasy which is going to be released next week at the first concert of their latest tour! https://preview.redd.it/0b7khdsu27bf1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d98182b0300b74d3942c93cd567d35928806c8fd Some ATINYs have been saying it sounds like a 2nd gen Kpop boy group track... but for me, the second it started I was like⦠is this 2000s pop?? It legit gave Britney x Backstreet Boys vibes and I was living for it. AND THAT DANCE BREAK?? it was sooo Michael Jackson inspired... They performed ALL EIGHT of the unreleased solo songs š Seonghwa's SKIN had my jaw on the floor for several reasons meanwhile Yeosang's Legacy sounded something straight out of Arcane and gave me chills. https://preview.redd.it/kpah01e937bf1.jpg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7f83f631fb593a05f127f9afa559c690d70f7793 e just got spoiled in the best way possible. Eyes, face, jawline, side profile, elegant neck and shoulders, pretty bodylines, sheer sleeveless top, the way he moved his body especially his hips and his upper body, those sinful body waves, his gaze and the way he would sometimes grit his teeth or scrunch his face, him feeling himself and the music and totally getting lost in the ECSTASY of PERFORMANCE -- just everything about Ten's Waterbomb performance was on-point and captivatingš„⨠He had a very sexy setlist and boy did he embody those songs especially my queen Shadowš And although his dancers were also killing it, his charisma and stage presence were so overwhelming I barely noticed them unless when I consciously made the effort to pay attention to them. Like yeah, he's just DRIPPING RIZZ and SEX APPEAL in a very tasteful yet also wild way, you will have no choice but to watch and take it all inššš And it's obvious that he stood out to the media people who covered the event cuz they said things like: "š„Is this concert venue for Ten only? Ten's stage is so intense that I forgot I came to Waterbomb for a momentā¤ļø Ten's stage was beyond hot - it felt like his solo concert š„" "Ten's appearance is breathtaking.." "Ten from NCT/WayV being the first idol with hips made of springs" "Every movement is a masterpiece TEN⨠Sensory choreography + 200% immersionš„ This is the true artistic performeršš" And yeah, when asked about his plan for the performance, he said he'll just throw himself to the audience.. and so he did!š He didn't hold himself back and seduced that crowd like the dangerous man that he isš„ submitted by /u/Intelligent-Ad9582 [link] [comments]
Idk how long will this post last cause my last post praising BTS got taken down in few minutes and I'm also not a BLINK but anyways just finished watching every performance and it was honestly amazing , I'm never agreeing with the sentiment that Blackpink are not good performers they're easily one of the best when they're giving it their all. Setlist was also amazing cause I really don't like songs from The album and Born pink so I'm glad it was mostly their old b-sides. Even the backtrack wasn't so loud this time , they didn't have to scream over it. I'm also excited for Jump , it is already so addictive!! All the members did amazing and Jisoo improved so much. It was so weird to hear them speaking Korean cause most of the time I have heard them speaking English lol. Idk and idc about their off stage chemistry but their on stage chemistry is amazing they're always hyping up each other. Honestly smh their concert just made me more impatient for BTS's concert cause I was so hyped up for them even when they're not my ults but BTS are my ults so I know I'm gonna be over the moon when they will perform together. Congrats to Blinks can't believe you guys got a concert before us lol submitted by /u/Adventurous-Dog5560 [link] [comments]

Dozen is misused like CRAZYYY people just call all idols dozens expect their favs and itās crazy. I saw someone call all of Twice āDozensā and Billlie were all āDozensā which is CRAZYY cause they are NOT Dozens. I feel like once some K-pop fans learn a new word they misuse it to itās grave submitted by /u/Vegetable-Hope-1641 [link] [comments]
