Aren't there any instances where idols use history as a reference for their songs? Pls let me know because im interested. By the way, this is an old video. The group in this video is B.A.P. The one who gave that reference was Bang Yongguk (in video) submitted by /u/LazyProfile2945 [link] [comments]
I'm making a youtube video and I wanted to know what people think/thought about new jeans' surprise debut but couldn't find anywhere Also, if you know a reliable source about people commenting on it, I'd be happy if you shared! submitted by /u/why_am_i_lifing [link] [comments]
I wanted to talk about the recent Jimin & Song Da-eun controversy because it’s causing such a split in the fandom. For context: Song Da-eun shared clips online that show Jimin entering her apartment building. Many fans are calling this a privacy violation, saying that Jimin never gave consent for the videos to be made public. People are really upset with her for seemingly exploiting his private life for attention as she did the same in past too. At the same time, a lot of fans are criticizing Jimin for his reaction, or rather, his lack of one. Many call it cowardice, arguing that he should’ve addressed the situation publicly instead of staying silent, especially to protect his reputation and clarify misinformation. Fans are calling him “cowardly” for staying silent and not defending himself or setting the record straight. It’s really dividing the fanbase. On one hand, people are saying Da-eun clearly crossed a line. On the other, people feel Jimin should stand up for himself and not just "hide" behind silence. So I’m curious… what do you all think? Is Da-eun in the wrong for posting without Jimin’s consent? Or is the criticism of Jimin fair? Should public figures take a stronger stance when their privacy is invaded? Or is staying silent sometimes the better move? Or is this just a messy situation where both sides are being judged too harshly? Would love to hear your perspectives and opinions without the usual fan wars. Just to be clear, I’m not hating on anyone, this is purely to hear your opinions. Please keep the discussion respectful. submitted by /u/LunaVixen7 [link] [comments]
Ok I hope you guys know what I'm talking abt because istg I see this so much. You know when idols perform, they have those safety tops and stuff underneath? it's usually just a small black tube top or something (I hope I'm describing this right, my fashion terms aren't the best). I hate it so fucking much when the stylists will dress them in stuff with cutouts or that's too short and you can see the safety top. In some instances it may be ok, but sometimes its so OVERBOARD I just wonder what they were thinking. Like for example I was watching one of lesserafims performances of "CRAZY" and Yunjin? you could see it. Kazuha? you can see it. Eunchae? you can see it. You could probably see it for Chaewon and Sakura too, I just don't remeber lol. But still- especially if its a minor. Why bother putting someone in clothes you know theres no point in them wearing cus you have to cover up underneath anyway. Do you get what I mean? And sometimes it looks good but other times I just think: Here's an idea: GET DIFFERENT CLOTHES- submitted by /u/ExcellentResponse607 [link] [comments]
People quickly forget that Lee Jin Ho bullying disguised as gossip was a major factor in Kim Sae ron’s death, now his channel is flourishing more than ever.It just seem so unfair that these talentless people can profit by bullying other submitted by /u/Kenny1234567890 [link] [comments]

I came across a video where haruto reacting to cortis music video GO! And fashion teaser music video from his live streaming on weverse, it seems like he really like this type of music and there's a comment from his fan that he can easily blend right in with cortis because it's so his style he read it but didn't say anything but from the look of his face it seems like he agree with the comment. I don't know about treasure that well because im not really a fan just casual listener but it seems like the bubble gum pop type of music that they doing now it's not some of the members music taste especially the rap line. submitted by /u/Party-Confection417 [link] [comments]

I was thinking about this for a while. I am mainly into gg so I will tell you about my observation. (correct me if I am wrong) Itzy - Itzy did exceptionally were untouchable until wannabe era, with their girl crush concept ppl believed them to be the next big thing.Yes, Itzy is still doing fine but, I think they are not performing well as much as their initial years . Gidle - They were immensely popular after the reliease of Tomboy. Then theur next releases Nxde,Queencard, Super lady and tgeir bside fare did exceptionally well, but after that it seems like they are not able to outdo themselves. Ive - Songs like Love Dive, After Like,I Am, Eleven were every where when they released...Yes, Heya ,Accendio, Rebel Heart and Attitude are popular...infact Heya is one of ny favourite song from their discography...but I feel like they are no where near Love Dive and I am in terms of popularity. There latest song XOXZ does not have the charm of their old song alteast according to me. Le Sserafim - Antifragile,Unforgiven and even Easy and Smart performed so well domestically as well as internationaly. Infact Eve,psyche and Bluebird's wife was inescapable. Then, they released crazy, which did well internationally but did not perform that well domestically and then Hot.Hot failed to do well domestically and internationally. Aespa - Aespa had an amazing run starting from Drama. Then there were bops like Armageddon, Supernova and Wiplash...what a goated era for the industry. Then came Dirty Work it was promoted so heavily but somehow failed to create the same magic. Then there title track Rich man has received mixed reaction. So, with every group it seems that there is a prime era with 4-5 songs and then it slowly start declining...So when we say that xyz group peaked...is it a real thing ....or is it another fan made thoery...or is it something that happened with top 4th gen ggs...Let me know your thoughts. submitted by /u/Due_Collection_3363 [link] [comments]

When I say biggest, I mean the ones that make the biggest splash in the kpop world and outside of it. The ones that make the most noise, the ones that get people talking about them, even in a positive/negative light. I'm asking this because I feel like this year hasn't had the most incredible/popular debuts compared to others in the past and it is already september. submitted by /u/Impossible_Cable_862 [link] [comments]
You built a beautiful machine. Now get out of its way. Look, I’m not here to hate on Katseye, I love these girls. But that’s exactly why this hurts to say: I don’t care about the music. I care about them. I care about what they want to wear, what they listen to at night, what they’d write about if no one told them what a “hit” sounds like. I didn’t fall in love with Gnarly. I fell in love with watching them become artists. K-pop may be the blueprint. But authenticity is the new flex. What the Katseye doc showed us is that these girls are brilliant, multidimensional, and so much more than stage ready dolls. They’ve been through it. They’ve put in the hours. And now? You’re still feeding them songs like it’s 2012. Where’s the Manon core alt-pop? Where’s Megan’s rap verse that doesn’t sound AI generated? Where’s Lara whisper singing something devastating into an iPhone mic? Let the girls become muses, not mascots. We don’t need another polished girl group with nothing to say. We need: - Lyrics that come from their journals, not a corporate Slack. - Sounds that reflect their identities, not just “what’s trending.” - Content that shows us who they really are, not just media-trained soundbites. Because you know what actually sells? Not trends. Not marketing. Cool sells. Real sells. Vibes sell. And these girls have all three. You just need to let go. So here’s my final plea: You trained them. You refined them. You turned raw talent into performance beasts. Now step back. Let them make mistakes. Let them be weird. Let them surprise you. Because that’s how icons are born. Katseye doesn’t need a genre. They need freedom. submitted by /u/Powerful-Common9981 [link] [comments]
