Hi! I just want to dump my feelings somewhere because I feel like a lot of kpop stans have experienced this at one point and I need advice on how to overcome it. Please don't be judgmental. First and foremost, I'm eternally grateful that I've been able to see my ult group (ZB1) and have had a few interactions with them because I know not everyone has the means to see their ult group. However, I've been trying to get into a video call with my bias for about a year and a half now and I've failed every single attempt despite saving up money and it's so discouraging to see the same people winning. I'm not asking for much, I simply want to tell my bias encouraging words and tell him how much he has helped me during a very difficult period in my life. I would be content with winning just once and I wouldn't ask for more but when I see someone who has already done 5+ video calls win again I feel so defeated. It also feels like they've one upped me and I'll never be able to "catch up" to them as a fan. I never act upon my jealousy and I try to look at the bright side of things by telling myself that my bias is receiving more love but at the end of the day I'm human and I'm bound to feel envious and "inadequate" as a fan. I know comparison is the thief of joy but I can't completely avoid seeing these things. I think I feel even more deeply about this because ZB1 is a temporary group. Feel free to drop any of your thoughts! P.S. I'm not gonna give up on my dream of talking to my bias so I would appreciate some encouragement. I'm not someone who gives up easily. submitted by /u/IndependentWedding66 [link] [comments]

Hi! I'm doing research on Cyberbullying on Twitter between K-pop fans. I have posted before but we are gathering more responses. Thank you for your support! https://forms.gle/u8pvoPWXVni8GzoZ6 submitted by /u/pnkshdw [link] [comments]
It's crazy to think the red velvet psycho demo got leaked and went viral five years ago in the kpop community and for a good reason. I'm glad people are realizing EJAE's talent even more now thanks to kpop demon hunters. submitted by /u/onlyeveryotherday [link] [comments]
So there's this article about bighit new boygroup said that the group will be a self Produce plus create their own choreography and some stays somehow got triggered and start to attacking the group and hybe. Saying that hybe must be jealous to straykids success and how they are bigger than their 4th gen boygroups TXT and enhypen that's why they create self Produce group to copy straykids. Im sorry to to burst your bubble stays but straykids are not the first self Produce group to ever exist in kpop nor the only one in the industry today. Plenty of groups before them Produced their own music and choreograph their own dance moves like Bigbang, BTS and seventeen. self Produce concept is not unique to them so straykids are not the first in anything and i hate to say this because it sound like im a company stan but hybe are not jealous to their success because despite their 4th gen boygroups is not as big as straykids but they as a company is still bigger than JYP and made more money not to mention they still have BTS who's is ten Times bigger and more popular than straykids ever be so im pretty sure they're fine And 2 of the groups that i mentioned BTS and seventeen is under hybe so they have self Produce groups long before straykids even debuted. submitted by /u/Party-Confection417 [link] [comments]

So the news recently broke that Everglow are set to continue without Mia or Yiren… and I think that’s going to seriously screw them going forward. Like I know it’s going to sound harsh or I’ll be accused of being a hater but I simply don’t see a path forward for them without Mia who was pretty much main everything in the group. She got the lion’s share of the lines and screentime for a reason. She was easily the strongest all-rounder in the group being the best vocalist, dancer, and even being able to rap to some degree. Her voice hard carried their entire discography. Don’t get me wrong, the other girls are not UNskilled, but Mia stood head and shoulders above the rest of the group in all around skill. Sihyeon can absolutely sing, but I don’t think she’ll be able to effectively cover Mia’s lines satisfactorily. If anything, they should’ve just rebranded entirely and committed solely to performing a whole new image and discography going forward, the way Loona’s offshoots are currently doing. Sure ARTMS may cover some ot12 Loona songs in concert on occasion, but for the most part they promote themselves separately from the Loona brand and focus for the most part on their discography as 5. Everglow without Mia is just like… Sistar without Hyolyn. Destiny’s Child without Beyoncé. I just don’t think this is a good idea for them at all, especially when we consider that the Everglow brand wasn’t that strong to begin with so they could absolutely rebrand without worrying about it affecting their success going forward. submitted by /u/aoikiriya [link] [comments]

I know it's a really stupid question!... But have fan boys ever been inspired by any Kpop makeup for men? I want to start putting makeup on my face!... Because my face is really ugly! And I'm looking for some makeup inspiration! If anyone uses makeup! Please recommend me some products!! submitted by /u/ruanzito070 [link] [comments]
I think 2018 was an excellent year, followed by a very solid 2019. 2022 was also a very good year full of iconic songs! submitted by /u/NeighborhoodTiny1431 [link] [comments]
Example: instead of Stay for Stray Kids, how about: Children Instead of Inner Circle for Winner, how about: Losers Let’s see who can come up with some truly terrible fandom names! submitted by /u/Lilac-Soul [link] [comments]

A while back I saw a gif in like 2010 or 2011 showing maybe two or three idols with their hair in pixie cuts and they were wearing eyeliner, they were chewing on some food and staring at someone (off camera) judgmentally. I think it was a meme. I honestly can’t even remember if they were male or female, maybe they were actually actors from a drama? For some reason I’m thinking of the Brown Eyed Girls but I’m not sure it was them. Anyone know what gif I’m talking about? I remember seeing it in a few memes when I was younger and I’ve been thinking about it again lately for some reason so now I’m curious. I saw some gifs of Yoona and BEG’s Abracadabra as well, so I know Kpop was already becoming trendy in the West back then which is why I’m assuming they were Korean celebrities submitted by /u/nipplequeefs [link] [comments]
They're from the same company, and yet WJSN had a good concept. The MVs were very nice, but IVE's popularity are much greater than that of WJSN. I was a somewhat casual listener of WJSN. Fans might be able to tell what happened or why they didn't explode in popularity. submitted by /u/Separate-Comedian-25 [link] [comments]
