I confess that I've been missing the Blackpink I knew. Before, each comeback had its own energy, their charisma seemed natural and the songs had that perfect balance between fun and power. Today, it seems like they are always following trends, trying to please everyone and ending up losing some of what made the group so special. They are still talented and iconic, but it gives that feeling of nostalgia for the original Blackpink. It's strange to see how the evolution of one's career sometimes takes away a little of the essence that we loved. submitted by /u/Fun-Diver-6166 [link] [comments]

I think this is Nmixx's God Menu's moment. Much like SKZ, pre-God's Menu people was calling them JYP's flop etc all over X and Reddit. SKZ turn around started God Menu and now became a top Boygroup. I think Blue Valentine is going to be start something special for NMIXX. They have a decent size Korean fandom and can built on it. This is also a reminder to those who judge groups too early in their careers. it’s not about how you start, but how you finish. https://imgur.com/a/qxDMThX submitted by /u/Deecoli [link] [comments]

That way it would have a direct connection with me right from the start, but also separate my personal life & Idol life a bit! 🩷 submitted by /u/d33pblushxy [link] [comments]

Its pretty crazy thing to see really. I don't think anyone expect it to do this well and especially not less than 1 week after the song was released. This is their new highest peak, beating Love Me Like This which reached #4, one month after promotions started for that song. I wanted to make a list of kpop group songs that have reached top 3 in 2025 also. This is what I've come up with, if anyone has any that I missed I'd appreciate it Kpop group top 3 entries on Melon in 2025: aespa - Rich Man aespa - Dirty Work Allday Project - Famous Blackpink - Jump IVE - Rebel Heart NMIXX - Blue Valentine submitted by /u/NationalBell1 [link] [comments]

Tell me about most useless achievements some idols have achieved. Or sometimes fandom created some useless achivement that you don't find logical. For me it's brand reputation sometimes I don't understand how that thing even work. So many idols who stay in the lime light who are gp famous but never get in top 10 and sometimes some idols who didn't do anything significant or doesn't have any activities Going on tops a list. At first I used to take that ranking seriously but now I have spend more that 7 years in k-pop o think brand reputation is most useless achivement ever get created. submitted by /u/Hmanav16 [link] [comments]
It’s kinda funny, honestly. I made a comment saying BamBam’s new MV views are mostly from ads and got instantly downvoted by Ahgases 😂 I didn’t even mean it in a hateful way. There were already posts in this subreddit questioning why the engagement ratios (likes/comments) don’t match the huge view count, so I just added some context. Many people were defensive saying things like “people don’t like or comment much anymore,” or that the numbers are high because of the kiss scene, the popular actress, or the whole of Thailand backing him. I get that, but the data just doesn’t back it up. If you look at Youtube Weekly Top Music Video Chart (Oct 10–16), Bambam’s MV is not even charting there and it's a global chart, meaning Thailand’s views are counted too. The lowest entry on the chart (#100) has around 4.1M+ views, so if he’s not on the chart, that means his real organic views are below that. That’s not an accusation, it’s literally how youtube charts work. Paid/ad views don’t count there, only organic views counted. There’s nothing wrong with using ads either as it’s a promo strategy, and many (not all) artists do it. It helps with visibility, especially for global exposure. But pretending those are all organic views or denying anyone who points it out doesn’t change the numbers. It doesn’t mean he’s not successful, it just means most of the views heavily depend on ads, which is totally fine. I just wish some fans could accept data without taking it as an insult 😅 https://preview.redd.it/gvhbfc3933wf1.jpg?width=1085&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6119f882a196702b6b2ee8b7716a6aa74f685e40 https://preview.redd.it/b9taqr8m33wf1.jpg?width=1252&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=95672109d733a8d603329dfe4b084f88f8e9cb62 submitted by /u/fxdydx [link] [comments]
