3.562. Which idols have an aura of confidence / charisma?

  • 1 month ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Clearly every idol is trained to have it. Their posture, mannerisms, etc are all highly trained. Yet, every once in a while I discover certain idols and their swagger just like stands out. It’s a bit different than stage presence, idk how to explain it exactly!! I think it’s super effortless. NGL - I’m making this post solely because I discovered Winner recently, watched a couple vids, and noticed that they ALL have this indescribable kind of confidence both on and off stage. It’s magnetic, and I can’t get it out of my head! 🥵 I think Jongseob (P1H) also gave me this impression but to a lesser extent. Have y’all ever experienced or felt this?? 😅 submitted by /u/Lilac-Soul [link] [comments]

3.563. why do kpop stans not have crazy conspiracy theories like Hollywood does?

  • 1 month ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

a couple week ago i thought about this because i was scrolling to read some celebrity drama that mutual reposted on twitter, and after reading the comments i wondered why kpop stans — atleast us stans here in the West, are not as conspiracy obsessed like people who follow Hollywood are? conspiracy theories do exist in kpop, obviously. but i feel like most kpop stans just don’t care enough or take them seriously for them to become huge. like the most wackiest kpop theories you’ll see is one of the BTS members being secretly married and having a kid on the way or Wendy being a clone or something and nobody will reaaaaally care? most kpop stans just laugh it off even when i look threads of “what’s a kpop conspiracy theory you believe?” it always (for the most part ) so…. tame and 9/10 far more logical compared to the ones you see about hollywood singers/actors. kpop stans would be like “idols date each other more than we think” “some idols have lurk and know what stans say about them” “a lot of idols don’t like each other like we see on screen” and just leave at that. if this was Hollywood, Red Velvet especially Irene would’ve already been accused of sacrificing children, BTS are satanic puppets, and the Armageddon MV was a symbolism of how Aespa sold their souls. Or something like that lmfao. Again just asking cus I only recently partially figured why I can’t bare to really engage in type of social media discussions about American celebrities without rolling eyes because at least one person has to be like “THEYRE ALL INVERTED DEVIL WORSHIPPERS‼️‼️😭😳💔🤫” Never have I ever experienced that with kpop stans like ever all these years. Why😭 submitted by /u/Academic_Essay5942 [link] [comments]

3.564. I think it's time K-Pop stands on it's own and out of the western music industry's shadow

I see a lot of fans who get mad cuz K-Pop isn't western pandering enough and then we have another group of fans who criticize K-Pop..well for being too much like western music, taking from another group in terms of styling and aesthetic. I wished South Korea would start localizing talent and build from their idols. They should be pushing those who want to further their music careers by sending them to school, learning to compose, produce, and write. We need more Korean fashion trendsetters and styling from South Korea too. Koreans really do dream BIG and they've proven that within the last 20 years. Just look how fast Seoul has grown as an example. Idk why they can't or refuse to express that creativity. 3.573. Beast/Highlight 2025 concert - the end of 6 years of cutting the rap parts off their songs

  • 1 month ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Beast/Highlight are having their 2025 concert "Ride or Die" this weekend, and finally after 6 years of them performing most of their songs with the raps cut off they redistributed the lines between Dujun and Gikwang Dujun actually had good flow since before debut (he raps in the intro of the live version of AJ's (Gikwang) Wipe The Tears), and Gikwang has shown his proficiency in previous solo concerts I really hope they will continue to cover the rap parts in normal events and festivals, not only their own concerts - Fiction is the most complete with the rap Now full performances - Fiction & Shock On Rainy Days Shadow Celebrate Full concert fancam (day 2) for people who are interested The fandom has responded positively overall, but I'm curious what people think of how they have handled this - if the rapper of your favorite group left, would you rather the group covers their parts or not? submitted by /u/sessurea [link] [comments]

Other people are doing it, so I thought I would too. Besides SKZ, the list is in no particular order. Hyunjin (SKZ. My ult) Bang Chan (SKZ, he's becoming my other ult after 4 years of being in a Hyunjin chokehold.) Changbin (SKZ lol sorry SKZ is my ult group) Taemin (SHINee) Minghao/The8 (Seventeen) Mingi (ATEEZ) Jackson (GOT7) Moonbin (ASTRO 💔) Yeonjun (TXT) Johnny (NCT) Jake (Enhypen) Hyungwon (Monsta X) And then Moonbyul (Mamamoo), my only female bias in any kpop group lol. submitted by /u/emotional_logic [link] [comments]

3.576. Recommendations for k-pop songs like these?

  • reddit.com language

Idk if this is the right reddit community to ask in, but i’ll give it a try either way! Anyone know any similar songs to these songs that give you that "levitating", but also "hyped up" type of feeling like these songs: Drunk-Dazed (Enhypen) Fairy of shampoo (TxT specifically) Attention (New Jeans) submitted by /u/Stankywanky23 [link] [comments]

3.577. What is THAT k-pop song that just stands out to you?

  • 1 month ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

A k-pop song that you think stands out from other k-pop songs. A song that you love so much and theres just something special about it. Maybe its a hype song that gives you the immediate need to dance, or maybe its a heavenly song that makes you levitate, or a sad song that makes you want to cry your heart out. Maybe it got you into k-pop or maybe it made you like a specific group or solo artist. Either way, i’m wondering which k-pop song by any korean pop group or artist that stands out to you! submitted by /u/Stankywanky23 [link] [comments]
