Twitter kpop fans are never beating the allegations šš The way they always dodge the topic of your post, like babe why are you arguing with the wall?? submitted by /u/42_Yudoz [link] [comments]
Hi everyone š. Itās been quite a while since I made this post, so Iām back again. I'll go first. For context, my ults are TXT, BTS, and BOYNEXTDOOR. MOA = TXT fandom ARMY = BTS fandom Onedoor = BOYNEXTDOOR fandom I'm not too involved in ARMY spaces, so I won't be talking much about BTS. For MOAs, itās been... okay, I guess. About 2 weeks ago, there was an issue with a stalker invading Hueningkaiās privacy and releasing a video, which started a lot of rumors and hate toward him. He had to release an apology and explain the situation, despite being the victim in the whole thing. It was... a mess, and the toxic subset of the fandom who were unfortunately very loud, made it worse. But most MOAs were incredibly supportive and were saddened that he had to apologize. We tried to leave tons of positive messages for him during that time. Fortunately, things have settled now, and the whole situation seems to have blown over. Weāre just hoping that BIGHIT pursues legal action against that stalker and sues them to the ground. Moving on to the good things, it was announced that Yeonjun will be releasing his debut solo album on November 7th, and we are all hyped for it! Heās been teasing MOAs by dropping hints and spoilers (he seems to be having the most fun doing this). The tracklist came out recently, and we found out the album will contain six tracks, one of them featuring KATSEYEās Daniela. The members have been very supportive and told MOAs to look forward to it as well. MOAs have also been enjoying new music, as TXT recently released their Japanese album. We got three new tracks: "Canāt Stop" (title track), "Where Do You Go", and "SSS" (Sending Secret Signals). All three songs are good! Canāt Stop in particular is so fun, and the choreography is fire! TXT are currently promoting the album in Japan. Weāve been enjoying the performances of the songs and loving all the opportunities TXT have been getting there. Most MOAs would agree that their Japanese team is very proficient at handling TXTās activities in Japan. Weāll be getting a second music video for Where Do You Go (see teaser here), so MOAs are excited about that as well. Kyoka Honda, a Japanese actor and model, will be starring in the MV. For more context as to why MOAs are especially happy, this will be the first time TXT will have an actual music video for a B-side since 2021. Not performance video or animated visualiser, but an ACTUAL music video. The last TXT b-side to get a music video was Frost in 2021. At their Japanese album showcase yesterday, TXT announced the addition of two concert stops to their Japan tour: Tokyo Dome in January and Kyocera Dome in February. MOAs are really excited about that, especially because the first and only time they performed in Tokyo Dome (which was a dream stage for them), Beomgyu couldnāt participate fully because he injured his ankle. Weāre glad theyāll be performing there again. Hopefully, all five of them will be in good health and enjoy the concert to the fullest. For Onedoors, itās been wonderful too. After weeks of teasing and anticipating, BOYNEXTDOOR finally released their 5th mini album THE ACTION, with the title track Hollywood Action. Weāre officially in comeback season, and itās been a fun time enjoying the album and the promotions! It feels like thereās a new variety show coming up every day, so weāve been really well-fed lately. Leehan and Riwoo celebrated their birthdays on October 20th and 22nd respectively, so the fandom has been excited about that. Leehanās birthday coincidentally fell on the same day as the album release. The songs have also been doing really well on Korean charts, so Onedoors have been happy about that too. Music show promotions start today, so weāre anticipating the weeks of music show performances. How about yāall? Whats going on in your respective fandoms? submitted by /u/ilovemeeeeee [link] [comments]

Hi! I built a daily kpop idol guessing game where you have to guess idols based on their pixelated image but I'm running into some issues regarding the difficulty. I'm finding it hard to accurately gauge the difficulty of the pixelated images and I'm not sure whether its too hard or too easy at the moment. I was hoping some of you could check it out and give me feedback on this matter ⤠Check it out here: https://www.idolguessr.fun/ https://imgur.com/a/j1g3OHU submitted by /u/DwikBoss [link] [comments]
For background, SEA Carats are noticing the difference in how Seventeen disregards etiquette rules in their concerts when they're touring in the west. They hug several fans tightly, receive gifts, allow things to be thrown on stage, and Mingyu went viral for drinking alcohol a fan brought to the venue. Meanwhile, SEA Carats get a Weverse notice reminding them they're not allowed to do any of these things before an Asian tour and noticing there's a difference. Western Carats get the same notice too but it's obviously allowed because the staff and the members welcome it if it's in the West. I think Western Carats are misunderstanding why SEA Carats are upset about this difference in treatment. They think it's because Asian fans want a y/n interaction or to have a parasocial moment with the group. And that's not why. If you're Asian, then you grow up noticing that anything from the West gets valued or admired automatically. You're socialized and conditioned to this even if no one points it out explicitly. The difference in treatment just reinforces this and that's why Asian fans are hurt. It stirs up that reminder. It's not like Asian fans want rules to be more relaxed from them either. It's just more fair if Seventeen and Pledis respected the rules they put in the first place. By making exceptions, it's hard not to think why there's a difference in treatment. And it doesn't help that Western fans keep telling Asian fans Seventeen feels more comfortable with them because they're more chill, less parasocial, Seventeen feels more free and safe with them. It's not like this is just about cursing on stage. That's just another hurtful stereotype and generalization. It sucks to be treated as "others" and to be invalidated because people think you want a y/n interaction. What do you guys think about this conflict within Caratland? I'm Asian so I was wondering if any other Asian feels the same way. submitted by /u/Sunset-Equation092 [link] [comments]

I was thinking about why this year feels so uneventful⦠like thereās scandals sure, but where are the hits? The song of the summer was for sure golden. I'm currently making a playlist of (beloved) kpop songs that generally speaking would make a non-kpop listener go WTF the first time hearing it either because of its absurdity, experimental sound, or that it completely subverts expectation. What are some songs I can add? My playlist so far: aespa - Savage Ateez - Guerilla, Halazia Big Bang - Fantastic Baby Exo - Mama f(x) - NU ABO G-Dragon - One of a Kind, Crayon SNSD - I Got A Boy, The Boys Itzy - ICY Katseye - Gnarly Monsta X - Shoot Out NCT - Baggy Jeans, Cherry Bomb OnlyOneOf - skinz, Chrome Hearts Red Velvet - Rookie, Dumb Dumb, Zimzalabim Stray Kids - God's Menu Super Junior - Spy 2NE1 - I Am the Best submitted by /u/snivyyy [link] [comments]
