Bg members citing CB as an artist they love has been a thing for years, so this isn't exactly a new topic, but a group sampling With You in their new album made me think of it again. I'm not going to rehash CB's long history but although he's talented, he's a terrible person and has been for years. Not just rumors or hearsay but actual felonies. Did Korea not really hear about this, or just not care? His songs were super popular in the 2000s/10s and I still know every word to his hits but I don't even really hear about him anymore and most people I know associate him with Rihanna and not his music. To expand a little, I feel like there's a lot of other collaborations/sampling out there too between kpop groups and questionable western artists.
