and it's sad. I saw a screen grab on Twitter of a bad comment on weverse, invading the idol and fans' space. can we have a sensible conversation here? what's your thought? was it plagiarism? inspiration? ps: i don't want to spark a war here please submitted by /u/wipwipwipp [link] [comments]

May sound crazy for some people but yeah, this is what would i do. For example, at 3 pm vocal excercises, 5 pm dancing etc. And i would let them rest and not do extreme diets and i would pay respect to their needs. submitted by /u/stukimilo [link] [comments]
I know a lot of people are angry about a certain member of this group but musically speaking Famous seems like a very good debut song to me. I saw some people saying it feels unfinished or needed more vocals but I kinda liked a rap heavy song. I think it really worked in this song because of both male and female voices with female - male - female - male sequence. I liked the rap wasn't jarring or too heavy. There was a "coolness" factor to it. Annie surprised me with her voice, I like her tone, it's distinctive. Really enjoyed Woochan's part especially the guitar in his verse. Youngseo's tone is also really nice and went well with the song. Bailey co-choreographed the song as expected and I think it actually matched the "coolness" of the song tho I think it could have been a bit better. The only complaint is the outro should have been longer!! I was disappointed when the outro finished so quick, I wanted Bailey's dance break to be longer. I think this is a song which gets better with each listen. It's catchy. submitted by /u/DiMpLe_dolL003 [link] [comments]
Just wanted to post a follow-up to my original post on the Stray Kids DC show disaster because the story has now made local and national headlines and the way it's being handled by Nationals Park, Live Nation, and even some media outlets is beyond frustrating. To recap: the event ended early due to extreme heat and dangerous crowd conditions, with DC activating their Mass Casualty Taskforce and at least 6 hospitalizations confirmed. And yet, not a single apology or formal statement has been issued by either the venue or Live Nation. Major networks like ABC, NBC, and Fox5 have started covering the show. But many of them are glossing over the actual negligence that occurred. Some reports frame it as: “The Stray Kids members stopped the show twice and gave out their own water to fans.” Cool. But why did they have to do that? Because staff refused to do their jobs. What these headlines fail to mention is that fans were left baking in 100°F weather, many without access to water, and only received basic care because the performers demanded it. In an NBC4 report, Nationals Park claimed: Fans were allowed to bring two sealed water bottles There were water stations available Cooling centers and mist fans were accessible Water was distributed in the pit area This is incredibly misleading and thousands of testimonies disprove this. Nats Park says two sealed bottles were allowed per person. But per their own policy, it was one sealed bottle per person. And many fans weren’t allowed to bring anything in at all. Some were forced to throw out empty bottles or retractable umbrellas at security, despite prior claims they were allowed. There’s pictures of the entrant of the venue circulating showing hundreds of empty water bottles from fans who were forced to leave them behind upon entering. Water was not properly distributed until Chan stopped the show and explicitly asked staff to do so. Even then, it was limited ran out often, especially at front of the pit where people were fainting. These “cooling centres” were rooms that could fit maybe 100 people. For a crowd of nearly 40,000. They were not accessible unless you were already in medical distress, and were located far from the floor where most issues occurred. Staff only directed people there if asked There were a couple of water refill containers, but some fans reported them being shut down an hour before the show. Water wasn’t cold. And again fans had to toss their empty water bottles at the door, so how were they supposed to fill them? Mist Fans apparently existed. On the second deck. Behind the stage. Inaccessible to the floor and pit. Who is that helping? Even some of the articles that quote the venue’s response include conflicting fan testimony directly beneath it. So are we just pretending none of that happened? Some fans, especially VIPs who paid $400+, were locked out of soundcheck or left stranded in the sun. They’ve contacted Live Nation, the venue, and customer service desks with zero response. Now people are mass-emailing journalists and local news outlets to get more attention on this and give their testimonies. But that doesn’t excuse the total radio silence from the people responsible. You can’t control the weather. You can control the show. At the end of the day, the issue is that JYPE, Nationals Park and Live Nation chose to proceed with a show under unsafe conditions with: No effective water plan Inconsistent security Little to no communication between staff and fans No adequate preparedness for the scale of the event If this doesn't prove gross negligence by these big companies, I don’t know what does. If you were at the show, keep sharing your stories. And keep pushing. Y’all deserve better. submitted by /u/not_Hades365 [link] [comments]

HYBE is really doing well to make the girls reach higher. Also the public is yearning for western style international girl group since the disbandment of 5th Harmony and Little Mix. Since they are from the biggest label in K-POP, no wonder how good and catchy songs they will have but their talent and personality also pushed them higher. submitted by /u/leonardreignn [link] [comments]

I used to be a fan of STAYC and get excited by new comebacks but I feel letdown recently. I think their label hasn’t been supportive and the new releases have been underwhelming past BUBBLE. Do you agree and what other recent band fits that conversation? submitted by /u/Heart-Shopper [link] [comments]
I‘m sorry but it gets to a point. Yes some of us are toxic, yes some of us are unbearable, but isn‘t that the same with every fandom? Why is it that everything ARMY does is getting overanalyzed to the point where it‘s getting ridiculous. I sometimes feel like people want us to overreact and act toxic so that they can point their fingers at us. And if we don‘t act that way then they are claiming that we are "overcompensting" or are "faking" our behaviour, it really is insane. Anyway, love you all but that shit is pissing me off… submitted by /u/Physical_End_537 [link] [comments]
Personally I think this version of Easy sounds soooo much mellow and soft compared to the studio version. submitted by /u/dim-mak-ufo [link] [comments]
I have seen a lot of people saying she looks like Jennie from blackpink but honestly I don't see it Jennie has round cheeks and baby face while rumi has more angled face I think she looks just like karina from aespa submitted by /u/Delicious_Ride_1843 [link] [comments]
Not trying to discredit them or anything, just genuinely curious. All of my Filipino friends, even those who have zero interest in any other kpop act, love Enhypen. Especially Jungwon. Why is that? Does the music in particular appeal to them or is it the visuals? Or is it just luck? submitted by /u/yoongelic [link] [comments]

To tell you the truth, I was afraid of this movie and I was very surprised. I don't know if I'm too late to talk about it, but anyways. This movie is the perfect demonstration of how to make a good product that actually represents a community instead of just being bait to attract fans. I've been in kpop for many years and I've seen everything; books about kpop that are actually fanfics, movies that put kpop music in the trailers or in some scene to gain an audience... When the trailer for this one came out, I already saw the disaster coming. “A movie that claims to be kpop but is sure to be trash that will hang on the fandom or misrepresent it,” I thought wrongly. You can tell this was made with knowledge; they did research on how kpop works (awards, lightsticks...) and with respect for the fans, giving them a movie that isn't a compilation of easter eggs but has a real story. And the music... holy crap. They earned it with the soundtrack, every single song is a great song. I need them to perform them live sometime like they did with 4Town in Turning Red. That's how you make an inspired, targeted movie. You give them a real product instead of bait and it's enjoyable to feel like at least some company cares about doing things right. A 10/10, movie I'll be rewatching all summer (and it came out the day before my birthday, hehe). pd: am I the only one that the title font reminds me of KDA's in More? xD submitted by /u/_issio [link] [comments]

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Hey everyone today Fromis_9 returns with a new mini-album after acquiring the group's name from their old company. Only Five members remain in this group and for this new album. The last time we saw the group was back in August, with Supersonic. The previous time, all eight members were in the group. I'm curious to see what the group will be bringing to the table with this new project. So let's jump into the album and see what the artists delivered. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ https://preview.redd.it/3mgkl34q329f1.jpg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e6c96fb3d4b749171a2eed9372fa5da44827dbe9 From Our 20s - Fromis_9 Like You Better The title track opens up the album with some synths that help create this funky beat. The smooth vocals from the members fit perfectly with the overall vibe. The hook has this upbeat vibe that explodes in color working wonderfully with the vocals that the members bring to the table. We get a little rap in the second verse that fits with the flow of the tune. The bridge is a sweet moment as the track slows down a bit before the final chorus comes into the mix with more killer vocals. One thing I will say is this title might take a bit to click with me cause with other titles from the group they clicked with me faster. https://preview.redd.it/kylh3b7w329f1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=1fe457c3ac4c584bf18f0b447d34cf69003167f5 ≿————- ❈ ————-≾ Rebelutional Synths and guitar open up the song bringing in this pop-rock vibe that sounds different than anything the group has done before. The hook is decent sounding a bit underwhelming as the instrumental sounds a bit too quiet during that section. The verses are a bit better as the instrumental fits better with the vocals than it does in the chorus section. I do enjoy the vocals that the members bring to the table as they work well with the backing track. I find the reverb in the hook drowns out the beat a bit making the chorus sound underwhelming. https://preview.redd.it/h2fkkvd1429f1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d99c62319cdf0766c7f9e34c32e9660f1425b900 ≿————- ❈ ————-≾ Love=Disaster Drums come into the mix crafting this rock sound that works with the members. The vocals are smooth fitting the vibe smoothly. The hook hits hard as it might be the best. The rap during the second verse adds to the vibe fitting with the guitar and drum moments. I find the instrumental to be fun as it helps enhance the performance the group delivers. The bridge is another moment I'm enjoying before the final comes into the mix exploding in color and ending out the tune with a bang. https://preview.redd.it/8vo5p8u5429f1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c188959b42c92977c505113de08acc9638721715 ≿————- ❈ ————-≾ Strawberry Mimosa Member Jiwon helped co-write and co-produce the fourth track on the record. The vocals from the members come into the mix fitting this funky-pop tune wonderfully. I love the guitar melody that blends wonderfully with the drum machine beats. The pre-chorus is a bit chill before it moves into the smooth chorus. The hook has a groovy vibe to it that fits perfectly with the vocals. The rap during the second verse adds to the vibe and the performance the group brings to the table. https://preview.redd.it/p85i4mve429f1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dca4a98ea1543b2652497b8f427b68ff00f7c59c ≿————- ❈ ————-≾ Twisted Love Member Hayoung helps co-write and co-produce the fifth track on this album. A guitar opens up the track with a thumping vibe. The instrumental goes for this sweet vibe that fits the smooth vocals from the members. The hook is a pretty decent one that still keeps the momentum that the verses brought to the table. The members deliver a sweet performance that works wonderfully with the instrumental. I love how chill this tune sounds as each member provides some excellent vocals. https://preview.redd.it/1oz7hc9v429f1.jpg?width=1208&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c05c1ca161c2fc2269c2456ae1d0b45c962802e3 ≿————- ❈ ————-≾ Merry Go Round The closing song on the record opens with this music box melody and some snapping beats. The instrumental gets more upbeat as it blends wonderfully with the group's performance. The hook explodes with color as the members hit hard with the vocals. The group's performance helps close out this album with a bang as this tune keeps getting better the more I listen to it. I'm still impressed with the vocals that get delivered on this tune as they might be the best vocal performance on the album. https://preview.redd.it/gi1lau80529f1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=95763d179ee0f0c7ac6d08ad401ccfadb02f3785 ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Summary: Fromis_9 is back with a new mini album that gets better as you continue to go through the tracks. The title track will have to grow on me, but at the moment I don't dislike it. Rebelutional has the weakest hook on the project as it's not clicking with me like some of the others on the album. Strawberry Mimosa might be my favorite track on the album as its groovy vibe is pulling me back for more. I'm glad the group returned with new music and I hope they continue to put out music for us in the future. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ https://preview.redd.it/uh585zh3529f1.jpg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4474e60f098709787cc26ee3ca8598e3844214b6 submitted by /u/Maltifandom23 [link] [comments]
