Sister songs— songs from different groups that sound like “sisters” to each other because of sonic and thematic similarities. They sound like they can belong in the same era despite it being from different artists. OR One sounds like a follow up to the other. Mine are: Fromis_9 Like You Better/ Illit I’ll like you (literally sound like an older and younger sister pair) Txt Lovesong/ Bts I need you Txt Loser=lover/ Bts Run Red Velvet Psycho/ Twice Cry for Me Itzy Not Shy/ Le sserafim Unforgiven What are your sister songs?? submitted by /u/Accomplished-Ad-3422 [link] [comments]

I have seen several frustrated dives about IVE'screative direction recently and I get it why you guys are mad and shady but I think the reason why the company is making more effort with their newer grps like kiiikiii or idid is because those grps need hype, attention and they need to build fanbase. IVE is pretty established in korea and slowly gaining momentum outside sk. They are the face of starship. For me, they don't need the big push anymore but ofc, they still need to be promoted. Also, I think the creative direction is not really a problem with IVE aside from that awful choice to use AI for their upcoming cb. Their successful cbs are not because of the creativity of the album or the roll out but the song choice itself and ofc, timing. I know concepts can help build hype, but the grp already has a strong fanbase and the fandom loves their music. The complaints shouldn't be directed to the grps under starship but the company itself. Anyway, wishing success to all the grps under sse. submitted by /u/behindsomewalls [link] [comments]

I'm voting from my original email for my favorite artist, but my vote is going to another artist instead. Other artist fans are facing the same problem. I tried yesterday, and I’m trying again now, but it’s still not fixed. Can someone help me? Don't know what going on. submitted by /u/Worried-Dark-5970 [link] [comments]

Hey guys, I really need to get this off my chest So like… I’ve been stanning K-pop for a while now — But there’s something that’s been bothering me for real... Why don’t we get fan meetings in Europe?? Like, yeah we’re lucky when they come here for concerts (and I’m SO grateful when they do), but fan meetings? Fansigns? Hi-touch? Nothing. It’s always only concerts. Meanwhile in Korea, Japan, and other Asian countries, they get sooo many events where they actually meet idols, talk to them, take pics, even if it’s short — it still means a lot. And don’t get me wrong, I KNOW it’s their home and it makes sense they’re more active there, but it still feels super unfair. A lot of us fans in Europe can’t just hop on a plane and fly to Korea or Japan. Especially if you’re underage like me. I can’t go alone, and my only option is like Milan or Rome… and even that is a struggle. What hurts even more? When they land in airports in Asia, fans are all over them, no space, pushing cameras in their faces. But when they come to Europe, we’re actually respectful. We give them space. We cheer and support them just the same, but in a healthier way. Still, we don’t get the same love back when it comes to events like fan meetings. There are soooo many international fans who love and support them just as hard, if not harder sometimes. It’s just sad knowing that we’ll probably never get to talk to them face to face like fans in Asia do. Not because we’re any less of a fan, but because of where we live. I’m not trying to be dramatic or anything… I just wish companies would see us and realize that we deserve more too. Not just loud concerts. We want the soft moments too. The eye contact. The laughs. The “thank you for supporting me” but said in person. So yeah… that’s what’s been on my heart lately. If you feel the same, let’s talk about it. Maybe if we speak up more, they’ll listen. submitted by /u/Miserable-Escape0 [link] [comments]
