It feels like most posts here are just asking people to name a song, an idol, a group, or to share their favorites. I enjoy those sometimes, but it’s a bit repetitive. Do you ever feel the same way? Would you rather see more creative posts, or do you like how it is now? submitted by /u/Standard_Basil_5269 [link] [comments]
i did the top 6 for this one because some people still count i-dle as (G)I-dle and i was thinking about others who might not want to count the groups old name so if you dont want to count it just ignore it The top 6 results for favorite group beginning with G: 1. Girls Generation - 85 2. GOT7 - 57 3. Gfriend - 46 4. GWSN - 18 5. (G)I-DLE - 16 6. Golden Child - 13 submitted by /u/Fun_Mine_4937 [link] [comments]
┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Hey everyone, today my ult group Twice returns with a new studio album. This project delivers fourteen. Tracks that I've been excited to hear. From looking at the tracklist, we're getting one duo song and four subunit tracks. One thing I'm a little disappointed about is that the solos they posted on Instagram are not on the record, which I would've loved to see. I'm not going to waste any more time with this intro and dive right into the new project from the group. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ https://preview.redd.it/l9lagwy1cacf1.jpg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0af287d405d5f848ac722f5568d486ede2b9f83d This is For - Twice This is for After the intro, we open the record and move into the title track, which feels like the shortest title we've gotten from Twice. All the lyrics for this track are in English, just like their last title track Stratogy. Chanting vocals come into the mix, blending well with the bouncy synth beat. The thumping instrumental adds to the overall vibe, even if this song feels like it comes and goes. I've been listening to this song a couple of times cause to me this tune doesn't feel like a title track at all, more like a B-side. I'm not upset that this song is short like some people have been, but I feel like they could've fleshed it out a bit. I'm still going to listen to it as I find it to be a decent tune. https://preview.redd.it/56k1bwb5cacf1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=92d5f4922413e77e2dafd0da2ff2f1eb46893e5b ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ Options After listening to Options a few times, I feel like this tune has title track potential than This is For. The funky-pop instrumental fits perfectly with the sweet/smooth vocal deliveries the member brings to the table. The hook has been stuck in my head as the melody keeps making this tune pop up in my head. Each member provides an excellent performance that keeps this tune alive. We do get some killer notes from the members that blend wonderfully. I still find this track to be a fun one that will keep bringing me back for more. https://preview.redd.it/d181xi48cacf1.jpg?width=275&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e4132d861040ec028d81cedc7d2dc575f14704e7 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ MARS Mars is another catchy moment on the album, one that keeps pulling me back. Synths open up the track, continuing with that funky beat from the last track. The vocals are perfect as they blend wonderfully with the smooth percussion/retro vibe. The hook brings in that retro sound with the synths that bring this tune to life. The group puts on a terrific performance, adding to the overall vibe that the instrumental brings to the table. Jihyo and Nayeon hit some killer notes that pulled me back. The guitar brings in some groove to the mix, which pulls this tune up for me. https://preview.redd.it/vei23l2bcacf1.jpg?width=1260&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=071d9157bd4d6521e787af0efdc7951cb09b0d7f ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ Right Hand Girl Right Hand Girl is this slick tune with synth chords that bring everything together. Three thumping melodies fit the performance the group delivers to the table. One thing I love about the performance is the slick nature of the vocal tones as the members put on a killer performance. The synth is one thing that keeps pulling me back to this tune, but I will say it will take more listens for me to fully love this tune. https://preview.redd.it/4rwto59ecacf1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=913b51db8989e73892271b9e6eb5f10662d206c5 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ PEACH GELATO PEACH GELATO is another short tune on the project that could've been fleshed out a bit more. I do like the acoustic-pop beat that blends wonderfully with the smooth vocals. The clapping of the guitar and percussion fits the vibe perfectly. The smooth vocals are excellent, as this tune could've been a little longer, but I'm not upset about it. I'm glad we are getting this acoustic-pop tune on the album. https://preview.redd.it/ysslbrjicacf1.jpg?width=1017&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a755243fb04248fd2546bc1738ae3c8ea9aac305 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ 7. Hi Hello Hi Hello is the seventh tune on the album bringing in a bit of glitchy vibe before the synth-pop melody comes into the mix. The member's vocals deliver a sweet tone that blends with the overall vibe. The hook has a catchy melody that keeps popping up in my head whenever I hear this tune. I love the different tones that each member brings to the table as they all blend perfectly. https://preview.redd.it/nskmu39lcacf1.jpg?width=3871&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fddbbb133da9d5c49fe51257a75d776e8b969cac ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ BATTITUDE (NAYEON, JEONGYEON, MOMO, MINA) Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo & Mina deliver the first subunit on the album, bringing in some attitude with this tune. Dem Jointz is one of the producers on this tune. I love the attitude they deliver with their vocal performance. The electro-trap beat blends perfectly with the chanting vocals that add to the vibe. I was surprised that Jeongyeon fit wonderfully with a dem Jointz vibe as well as the rest of this slick unit. The hook is as fantastic as it hits as hard as the verses. https://preview.redd.it/5w314w7pcacf1.jpg?width=3716&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bdb8e9560104df48f5b67ea676cc5cc6ba146844 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ DAT AHH DAT OOH (SANA, JIHYO, DAHYUN, CHAEYOUNG, TZUYU) Sana, Jihyo, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu are the second unit on this album. Synths open up the track, bringing in a bouncy vibe as the members deliver a smooth, slick performance. The clapping drum machine adds to the vibe that the producers crafted. Each member brings in a smooth tone as they all fit together wonderfully. The hook could've been a bit better, but I'm not bothered that it's not. The bridge with the strings adds to the vibe as Jihy hits some fiery notes during that moment. https://preview.redd.it/gt6g34xrcacf1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ee5c1d3d363cb05667e1978e70f1009c7929117e ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ 10. LET LOVE GO (JEONGYEON, MOMO, SANA, TZUYU) For the third unit, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, and Tzuyu team up for this catchy pop track. This unit delivers sweet pop tunes that have been stuck in my head like crazy. The smooth instrumental fits the delivery of the vocals that the members provide. The hook has a retro vibe with some strings that craft this dance-pop feeling. I love how each member blends together, helping to bring out the catchy vibe that the backing track delivers. https://preview.redd.it/qovcvw9wcacf1.jpg?width=622&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6523697fc3969a2b232debeeb3181bd8915089f1 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ G.O.A.T. (MINA, DAHYUN, CHAEYOUNG) For the final unit, Mina, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung team up for a track called G.O.A.T. Bouncy percussion comes into the mix as the members deliver some killer vocals that add to the overall vibe. The hook has been growing on me the more I've been listening to it. I still find it a bit funny that this unit is calling themselves the GOAT. I will say some of these lyrics are a little questionable, but I'm not going to complain too much about them. I still find this unit to be another great addition to the album and the unit section. https://preview.redd.it/nweh3mk0dacf1.jpg?width=282&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8701691f152f6e84b1d42fe1dc6a687c584254c0 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ Talk (Jihyo & Nayeon) The duo song on the album between Jihyo and Nayeon wasn't something on my bingo card, but I love this tune so much. Jihyo and Nayeon fit perfectly together with their smooth vocal performance that brings this tune to life. This bouncy R&B beat fits the duo perfectly as I've been coming back to tune a lot today. The hook has this catchy vibe that has been pulling me back for more. During the second verse, Jihyo delivers a slick performance that adds to the vibe, impressing me even more. I didn't know that a Jihyo and Nayeon duo would hit this hard, and I want even more from them. https://preview.redd.it/c8prd5a3dacf1.jpg?width=259&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ba8c61508af485ffb306a91da103aad5f905a805 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ SEESAW Synths open up the second-to-last track as the members bring in a sweet, soft performance that blends wonderfully with the synth-pop vibe. The hook comes in with a smooth melody that blends with the harmonies that the members bring to the table. I'm glad we got some smoother tunes on the album that make the listener feel a bit relaxed as they are listening to this tune. https://preview.redd.it/c5tdv9g6dacf1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6cb4e2c337f6c550285a9e22399409cb03cb1567 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ HEARTBREAK AVENUE HEARTBREAK AVENUE is the closing song on the album that closes out the album perfectly. The synth and guitar craft this sweet melody that helps close out the record. The funky verses blend wonderfully with the member's vocal delivery, which made me love this tune quickly. The hook hits with the vocals, as you can feel the emotion that the members bring to the table. I'm glad they chose this tune for the closer cause it ends out the album with some fire. https://preview.redd.it/pg8xkks9dacf1.jpg?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5937bdc0796750fa13533dcf348bd6e2ddff8cb6 ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Summary: Twice is back with a new album, one that keeps growing on me with each listen. I do find the title track to be a little weak for a title, as I still feel like Options would have been a better title track. The tunes that we get on this album hit hard as the members fit wonderfully in their units. Jihyo and Nayeon fit well together with their duo that keeps pulling me back for more. I can't wait to have this album on repeat, watching it grow on me every time I come back to it. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ https://preview.redd.it/ra9g29wadacf1.jpg?width=610&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e229a653d777efd1cda186d8fee6b9a3c92d39db submitted by /u/Maltifandom23 [link] [comments]
Is it just me, or does Jisoo’s facial expression look totally off? The expression looks super sassy—like something the other members might do, but not her. She usually doesn’t make faces like that, especially in older music videos. It just doesn’t feel like her at all. There’s no way that’s really her 😭 Definitely gives off AI vibes. submitted by /u/ZookeepergameLow2862 [link] [comments]
As many as you'd like. And I'll happily accept some songs back! Let's share some music! Got a decent blend between idol groups, kbands and indie stuff, old and new. submitted by /u/pornypete [link] [comments]

I’ve already watched Run BTS and Going Seventeen and absolutely loved them! Now I want to discover more K-pop groups through their variety shows. Can you recommend the funniest episodes from other group shows (excluding BTS and Seventeen). submitted by /u/ledgerford [link] [comments]

So Katseye’s tour tickets just went live and it’s basically sold out. These girls are going to be big big. I went 3h after the sales started and for my city, the remaining couple of tickets are at 1K+. I understand they wanted to see first and be a bit more conservative but these venues are way too small. They are gaining a lot of traction and attention, their numbers for a group that has barley been there for a year is absolutely crazy! As much as there is a market saturation for GG in Korea within the Kpop space, there is a gap in the market in the west. The last we have seen was Fifth Harmony and I’m starting to genuinely think that these girls are coming for that spot, and fast. submitted by /u/Esmeraldaee [link] [comments]

Here are the photos so, I'm normally not a big concept pictures person in the sense that for me they are always a nice bonus, but I don't care if I don't like them because for me what matters the most is the music. And these days I rarely get excited by concept pics. HOWEVER, txt just dropped their Starlight concept pics and something shifted inside me. I'M OBSESSED! Idk if it's the gorgeous sparkly makeup or that I've been on a huge sci-fi kick lately but I'm just sooo in love with these. They all look so good and the concept feels so fresh and cool! I just feel like I need to scream about it from the rooftops. I'm so excited for this comeback! submitted by /u/jujubadetrigo [link] [comments]
I've seen discourse on Tiktok about this and am curious if it translates to other socials as well. With all kpop tours I usually see the trend of "bias before and after a concert". When attending a show someone says their bias and then it cuts to after the show where they either repeat the same bias or change it. Most of the videos I've seen have the person changing their bias. I had never seen backlash over this until recently. Most of the comments were negative towards those doing the trend. They usually say something along the lines of their bias is sacred to them, and they choose a bias based on their character and personality. And that allowing a 2-3 hour concert to change a bias is fickle and sad. Basically, implying the person doing the trend is a lesser fan and that they only value the members for superficial reasons since they switch favorites so quickly. Every video I see of this trend gets more comments similar to that. It got me thinking, I do understand where they're coming from. There are a lot of "jokes/trends" I see that are in poor taste regarding kpop idols, but I don't think this is one. It is a little bittersweet seeing a video with someone biasing a less popular member and switching to the most popular member. But it's just a fun TikTok trend. I think reading into it at that level veers a little too far into parasocialism and tries to enforce a fan hierarchy. Do you think positively or negatively of this trend? submitted by /u/ButterflyMinute9605 [link] [comments]
https://youtu.be/DE8qE5idqdQ?si=pi14rpSkIbJ0Tmzu Nmixx went to a show called "live wire" where they performed a couple of songs, one of that was "dash" where they performed with practically 0 backtrack, just a live band and the background harmonies. You can even hear member like Bae struggling at 0:38 hitting the low notes, but she gave us an adlib instead, apart from that they were amazing It's nice to hear no backtrack from time to time, also there seems to be little vocal processing maybe just a little but nothing to extreme, I hope we get more shows like that! submitted by /u/sueueu6e36 [link] [comments]
