1.708. So many people seem to think simply having a bias is being a solo stan now

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Like what's that all about? I posted an edit compilation of BTS on YT and while yes this is obviously a generalization some of the comments were complaining because I put more edits of Taehyung than the rest. It wasn't even a big difference lol, I just put like 3 more or something? They were calling me a solo fan, as if I didn't put edits of every single member and more than half of the edits weren't literally of them as a group? I've been seeing this more and more. People comment on one member in an edit or something, and the replies are like 'What about the other members?'... Isn't having a bias literally one of the most typical things about Kpop? Back in 2018 when I first became a Kpop fan and a BTS fan I felt almost complied to choose a 'favorite' member because it seemed everyone just had an answer ready. Saying you didn't have a bias was most of the time met with 'yes you do you just don't know it yet'. Now so many people act like it's an insult to the group if you favour one just a little more. Actual solo stans suck though I get it submitted by /u/Due_Improvement_5699 [link] [comments]

1.713. Ex-TBZ Haknyeon + MC Mong Involved in Prostitution

ROUGH TRANSLATION: — Ju Haknyeon (26), a former member of the group The Boys, allegedly had a one-night stand with Japanese AV actress Asuka Kirara (37) and paid her for sex. On May 18, multiple entertainment insiders told TenAsia, ā€œJu Haknyeon met and slept with Asuka Kirara at a private bar in Tokyo, Japan, in late May,ā€ adding, "During this process, Haknyeon handed Asuka Kirara a canvas. They engaged in prostitution." ā€œWe understand that not only Juhyeon, but also a producer who was part of One Hundred was also excluded from work due to sex trafficking-related issues,ā€ said an insider. NOTE: MC Mong stepped down from his producer role at One Hundred on June 13th for "personal" reasons The agency was recently checking the facts regarding Ju's personal life controversy and found out that he had engaged in prostitution with Asuka Kirara. After initially denying the allegations, Haknyeon reportedly admitted to the sex trade when presented with concrete evidence. Earlier, the agency had only said that Haknyeon's departure from THE BOYZ was a ā€œpersonal matter.ā€ According to Article 21 of the Act on the Punishment of Prostitution and Other Acts, anyone who engages in prostitution is punishable by up to one year in prison or a fine of up to 3 million won. Even if a Korean national engages in prostitution abroad, he or she is subject to punishment under domestic law. Upon learning of this, One Hundred decided to remove Ju Haknyeon from THE BOYZ and terminate his agency contract. The agency said, "We are taking the matter seriously. It is difficult to trust Ju Haknyeon anymore,ā€œ the agency said, ā€After discussing it with the members of THE BOYS, we have finalized Haknyeon's withdrawal from the team and termination of his agency contract." The agency continued, ā€œOneHundred will spare no effort and support for the remaining members of THE BOYZ to continue their activities in good health.ā€ The agency added, "We sincerely apologize to our fans for the inconvenience caused. We will do our best to repay them with better activity news in the future." submitted by /u/lyngshake [link] [comments]

1.718. SNSD x 2PM on-screen couple battle - who wins?

So we have a new emerging K-drama couple from our SNSD x 2PM couple-land. We have the famous (or infamous) real life ex-couple - Khun x Tiffany We have the lauded drama couple - Junho x Yoona We have the non-couple but in the same drama nontheless - Chansung x Sooyoung And now we have another unexpected drama couple - Taecyeon x Seohyun Which ones suit each other the best? I used to love Khunfany (the ship has sailed) but Junho and Yoona are unexpectedly so beautiful together. submitted by /u/Many-Ad-9007 [link] [comments]

1.722. on apps like LiNC, why do the votes go DOWN sometimes?

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

It’s not a big deal but I was just curious if anyone else noticed this too? The little percentage that says like 32.5% will sometimes permanently turn into 30.5% instead. I’ve heard some people are using ā€œillegalā€ or whatever ways to put extra votes to an artist, do you think that’s why? submitted by /u/anonymous_human174 [link] [comments]

1.723. To what extent will kpop fans put the idol first in the face of rumors?

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Thinking about current and past scandals. I always see how when they are rumors and little whispers about the things that idols are accused of I notice that fans of the idols (gender irrelevant) are quick to side by the idol and blame the company and put it to crazy rumors intended to ruin the idol. I know actual evidence is the ultimate indicator but before that comes out, what is it that signifies that okay the idol maybe did do what they were accused of? Or that they didn’t do it. Is it a gut feeling, or what the accusation itself is? submitted by /u/Human-Ad8991 [link] [comments]

1.724. Will enha face a similar fate as the Boyz

  • 2 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

This got taken down on kpop uncensored, so I’m posting here. If u don’t agree then stop taking down my post . I’m simply trying to start a conversation. I’ve never been a big fan of The Boyz, always been a casual listener and like, a follower of the younger, more popular members. But recently, I’ve only been hearing about their scandals and way less about their music and projects. When I went on some of the subs on here, a lot of fans said the reason they’re getting so much backlash lately is because the group recently stopped catering to the parasocial fan narrative that their previous company was pushing. Apparently, their fans are super controlling and obsessive now that their fantasies and delusions aren’t being fed by the members, and the sudden change has brought hell for them. When I heard that, the first thought I had was, ā€œIs this what Enhypen will have to go through in the future?ā€ It’s no secret that Belift has been the biggest supporter of the crazy Engenes, enabling their fantasies all the time. From selling the members’ clothing pieces in albums, removing female background dancers, asking weird POV questions, story-based content, fanfic quizzes, and all kinds of corny stuff just to satisfy fans—none of that’s new. But it’s also not a secret that the boys are huge flirts. I’m pretty sure most of them are in relationships or at least getting laid every now and then. So if they ever pull a TBZ, how much worse will their backlash be? ’Cause mind you—Engenes are crazy. And I’ve been following this group for 3 years now. P.s: if u don’t agree just scroll or downvote my post don’t report it. I actually want to hear people’s opinions submitted by /u/Athena_14_06 [link] [comments]
