About wonho's live that he deleted cause people were being disrespectful and inappropiate thinking they saw something im sure you wouldn't want that too if it was you in his place and people thought they saw his intimate area. it wasn't. Just enjoy an idol's live when they go live Its normal to be a fan but what isn't normal is sexualizing or objectifying an idol because at the end of the day they are human beings with feelings and a job. you don't know how your words will affect them in person. So please be mindful you don't know these idols in person. They are all strangers unless you know these idols personally. Man what the hell is wrong with some of y'all? touch some grass Please. thats all im gonna say. Thank you reading. And for the decent kpop fans out there in the world keep being you and lets fight to protect idols from disgusting fans fighting! โฅ๏ธ๐ช๐ป They don't need to be dealing with terrible stuff from the wrong kind of fans. submitted by /u/MemesAnDmoArFuNny22 [link] [comments]

What does "creating a safe space" really mean in kpop? When idols say things like, โIโm always here for youโ , โYou can rely on meโ โLetโs get through it togetherโ It sounds personal, intimate, like they care just for you. But donโt get it twisted. Theyโre not literally offering 24/7 friendship or emotional support. What theyโre offering is a carefully packaged emotional illusion of comfort, safety, and presence manufactured through live, some healing lyrics in music, fan letters, curated moments in fancalls. Itโs part genuine sentiment, part performance, and very much part marketing strategy. They donโt know you. They canโt carry your burdens. They just curate emotional access to make you feel seen and cared for, even though the care is one-sided and limited. Now hereโs the contradiction, btw โIโm always here for youโ vs. โI need time offโ You canโt have it both ways. You either admit you're human and need rest (which is fine) or stop telling millions of strangers youโre emotionally available to them at all times. Itโs logically inconsistent, but emotionally effective. And thatโs the whole trick , Idols are expected to perform endless emotional labor. Fans, in turn, start thinking the connection is mutual when in reality, itโs not. When idols say โIโm always hereโ, what they actually mean is โIโll show up in small windows, when Iโm paid to, when I feel like it, and when it fits my image.โ So why do they keep doing it? well, because it is what sells.Parasocial bonds are the backbone of kpop profit. Despite how some idols do genuinely care, it is still only within the safe distance of screens and curated moments. The system itself rewards emotional accessibility. The more โrelatableโ they appear, the more profitable they become. So if youโve decided to become a fan of someone, ask yourself. Are their emotional illusions worth every second of my life? Will I look back and regret the money, time, and emotions I invested? Did I buy those albums and tickets out of obligation to โsupportโ them or because I genuinely love the music theyโre serving? Be honest with yourself. The difference matters. because then, idols won't have to talk about this again, at least not very so often. Repeat after me: "K-POP IS A BUSINESS, NOT A FRIENDSHIP CLUB." Fans are not their friends You're random strangers who happened to like and emotionally invested in them. --> the sooner you understand that, the easier it is to stop mistaking manufactured intimacy for genuine connection. submitted by /u/Party_Nervous [link] [comments]
with the recent popularity of Kpop Demon Hunters and it's English Kpop songs and other English releases from top groups---APT, Dynamite, The Feels, it sucks that the popularity of English Kpop is increasing each year, yet the K in Kpop remains stagnant. it seems like only OG Kpop fans listen to pure Korean language songs. submitted by /u/Miserable_Seat_9226 [link] [comments]

Here's the interview link, I highly recommend reading this incredible article. https://www.dazeddigital.com/music/article/68359/1/xnghanxoul-the-remaking-of-a-k-pop-idol-interview-2025 I am typically a purposefully disconnected casual listener type of fan, always harboring an emotional distance with the artists I follow. I truly try to perceive them as close to how I would want to be viewed and perceived: as a regular person. I don't like obsessing or infantilizing or over centering any celebrity in my life. Having said all that. I must say, after reading this interview, I have come to truly and sincerely admire Seunghan, as an artist and as a person. He's a great a role model! Seeing him who went through a public witch hunt like that and still managed to keep going, never faltering in his willingness to persevere, to take on life little by little and day by day and never lose his smile is so encouraging. It makes me look at my own problems and struggles and feel like if he could do it, I definitely can to! Back in October, it felt like everything about his situation lacked humanity, but keeping up with him these past 8 months has me thinking how vividly he embodies the human spirit. He is unrelenting! In regards to his artistry, it truly is so lovely, especially in kpop, to see someone with such passion for MUSIC! He's said he studies music, researches it, and is working on composing and writing a full album one day. A passion like that cannot be taught by the kpop trainee regiment. I'm happy to be his fan, I hope he only walks a blissful path from now on. Interview Highlight for me: "He knows who he is:...Strong...Healthy...[and after laughing]...Crazy for music!" submitted by /u/Sellingoldkpopstuff [link] [comments]

I assume the opinions have not changed. Although I'm hoping those who tried to defend it as CD's have long ditched that. It's clear what it's about. The song itself is amazing though an R&B song with some future bass and hip pop submitted by /u/8rand0m [link] [comments]
