How I think TXT members would be in a fight

I wanna preface that I’m in no way trying to instigate (I am. Would love to see them fight. Y’all remember that ToDo episode with Taehyun and Yeonjun. Yea I need that to continue) and I in no way wish the members harm of course (unless they putting in that work on someone who deserves it lowkey). This is just how I personally feel each member would go about fighting and no this isn’t between the members fighting among themselves (y’all seen that fortune teller say Beomgyu would get beat up by Yeonjun if they were to fight. Enough said also justice for Beomgyu). Anyway without further ado. Yeojun: would wholeheartedly deck you. Would punch first and would probably stand over you with his chest out once you’re on the ground. He wouldn’t beat you to a pulp (unless he was really mad) but gives you a good hit or knocks you down as a warning to stay down. Doesn’t take much to get him into a fight. Soobin: also would deck you, but wouldn’t throw the first punch. He’d probably try talking and calming the situation first but once he’s mad he’s throwing hands. Would beat you and win without question. Do not fight. Beomgyu: provoker. More than likely started the fight bc he was talking shit and didn’t know when to shut up. Would get unnerved once he realized someone was actually trying to fight him and may even back down a little. Lots of nervous laughter and possible more nervous shit talking. Would try to fight. Would undoubtedly loose. Huening Kai: provoked. Doesn’t take much to get him there. Unsure of his fighting abilities but dude is a tank. Wide shoulders, wide hips, tall, and a solid body. Even if he couldn’t fight he could probably eat some punches. If he does hit back he could probably KO someone with one punch. He also strikes me as a really dramatic or emotional fighter. Taehyun: does not start fights. No one starts fights with him. If he was in a fight he may be a little shaken up initially but would probably realize talking is gonna get him nowhere and this is what he has to do. But to get him to that point is kinda hard bc he seems pretty non-confrontational in general. He wouldn’t hit first and would probably take a couple shoves before he actually did anything. I don’t know if I see him winning but he definitely would get a couple of good hits in. TLDR (you should have because I cooked here) Soobin and Yeonjun - predators Huening Kai - built like a predator but isn’t Beomgyu - likes to think is a predator but is prey Taehyun - is probably the zoo keeper submitted by /u/25Coconuts [link] [comments]

152. Hi I'm looking for advice for doing dance covers

I found kpop in 2018 and i've been doing covers of soloists since 2019. Recently I've been wanting to branch out and try covering group choreos. I've had the idea of a different outfit/makeup/hairstyle for each person, which makes it easier for people to know which person i'm covering when but how do I actually learn the choreo? Do I learn the entire thing from each persons perspective or just their parts and focus on the formation so I start their next part from the right place? submitted by /u/TopAd1846 [link] [comments]

My playlist needs some kpop that isn't 8+ years old. Minus a few songs anything post 2021/22 is probably new to me. Heads up: I'll give my true first impressions so what I'm saying might be complete nonsense, also I might not enjoy your favorite song (that's okay, we can all like different things). submitted by /u/OkCauliflower7443 [link] [comments]

158. It’s funny seeing newer fans act like ARMYs suddenly “took over” these subs

  • 1 day ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Its clear how a lot of people complaining about “ARMYs running these subs” weren’t actually here back when things were really bad and are clearly new to Reddit Kpop spaces. A few years ago especially around the pandemic every Kpop related sub was absolutely flooded with anti BTS posts every single day. It got so bad that mods had to ban BTS related posts for a while and literally limit them to certain days because it was just nonstop negativity. Endless threads mocking their music, their English releases, their fanbase, everything. If you were active back then you’d remember how vicious it was. Anyone who tried defending BTS was instantly downvoted into oblivion or had their comments removed. Most ARMYs just stayed in BTS spaces because it wasn’t worth the headache. But after years of seeing the same hateful nonsense more people started pushing back. “BTS fell off,” “BTS sold out,” “ARMYs are toxic” on repeat. Eventually fans got tired of pretending it was normal and started participating in these subs. And now, those same “days” are clearly coming back. The amount of hate posts and nasty comments about BTS lately is wild. It feels like pandemic era energy all over again. As soon as they are seen breathing the comments about them turn insanely vicious. Tell me why I see BTS being compared to Diddy on every platforms? BTS's success in building HYBE is also a big part of why every HYBE group gets hated on so disproportionately. People hold resentment toward anything even slightly connected to BTS. Look at NewJeans: for years some people trashed them for being “HYBE’s privileged group.” But the moment they had conflict with the company suddenly the same people who were dragging them two years ago are now tokken stanning them just to drop them as soon as they are seen as a "threat" to their fave groups again. (obligatory I miss NewJeans' music comment 🥲) If these subs were really “run by ARMYs,” the Yoongi incident last year wouldn’t have gone down the way it did. Thousands of people spread fake info and trashed him while mods left it up for days before quietly deleting it. When the truth came out, no apologies, no accountability, just silence until the next opportunity to hate. Come on. Acting like this is about constructive criticism is a joke. There has never been a BTS thread that didn’t devolve into people piling on and demonizing them or their fans. But now that people can’t freely bash BTS without pushback, suddenly it’s “ARMYs ruin everything and are running every.single. Kpop subreddit!" submitted by /u/thebarted [link] [comments]

Why comments like "bts should go back to the military" when BTS have talked about how hard it was on them, or when I see people telling Jaejoong to go back to SM when what he went through there was literal hell are normalized. People really lose every ounce of humanity cause they want to drag someone. 165. You can critizise all you want, Jennie simply just doesn't care anymore

  • 1 day ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I think some may have already stumbled upon the new videos of Blackpink on tour, where there are multiple clips again of Jennie half-assing the choreo and overall just having a pretty shitty attitude. This has BEEN happening this entire tour. Obviously this isn't right, fans pay good money to see them perform, but I think it's pretty obvious Jennie right now is at a point where she just doesn't care anymore. While the other members distaste for this tour isn't as obvious (though Rosé is a close second), it's obvious this tour wasn't something they wanted and more so YG wanting to pull in money. The thing is, it's not like the criticisism hasn't been there, there has been numerous clips with millions of views critisizing their performance, it would be impossible this wouldn't have been brought up to them and they wouldn't have been told to improve. When you're already in this "Im absolutely done with this" mentality though it's hard to get out of that. This is not me looking to excuse her behaviour, but I just think this is pretty sad. Jennie can be a hell of a good performer when she wants to be, I mean she was praised for being the best back in 2016. I think she has lost the passion to perform as a group. And... honestly? With how she has been treated by the general public these past few years I don't blame her for growing a distaste. It's obvious how badly the hate affected her in 2018 (if you weren't a kpop fan back then, let me just tell you the hate was insane) and back then it was based off of really small clips out of context, and people ripped that girl to shreds. I could see how this hate that continued on for years on years eventually just numbed her. submitted by /u/Due_Improvement_5699 [link] [comments]

166. Would you consider this plagiarism? Yejun Gaho controversy

  • 1 day ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I’m sure everyone knows Rosé’s solo debut song On The Ground, wonderful song and I absolutely love it. But recently I stumbled upon this controversy on X that has gained 3 million views already. The debate involves two different K-pop Artists who both covered this Song. Singer Gaho released his rearranged cover of the song in 2021. Yejun from the virtual idol group Plave, also rearranged this song and performed it during their concert a year ago. Basically recently people found out that Yejun claimed to rearranged his version of the song by himself yet the two versions sounds really similar. https://reddit.com/link/1oc93yc/video/fcrrwopgwfwf1/player After watching the comparison video, I would say I would agree that these two covers sounds different enough to be a rearrangement of the original version, however I would say Yejun’s version sounds awfully similar to the point that I would say I can’t really tell the difference compare to Gaho’s version. With limited music remix or arrangement knowledge, I would say it is giving copying without crediting???? But since I’m no professional musician myself, and I also saw people in the repost saying they think the two covers are really different beside the addition of instrumental tracks and beats, I would like to post this question here and see what everyone else would say on this one. I will attach the links to full videos of the original version and the two covers here as well! Rosé Gaho Yejun submitted by /u/Ok_Engineering_8288 [link] [comments]

168. the constant hate jennie gets for what she does or doesnt do on stage is pure misogyny

  • 1 day ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

the truth that everyone likes to ignore: the amount of international fans having a weird obsession with “professionalism” and “stage presence” until it comes to male idols lol suddenly their mistakes on stage are cute and understandable, suddenly they’re concerned when a male idol appears tired or sick on stage and suddenly they have all this compassion towards their health and well being. everything that comes out of their mouth stems from internal misogyny and thats why most of them resonate with Korea so well. they relate to a country that’s known for their extreme misogyny and blatant hatred towards women in every shape or form lol this isnt just for blackpink, its for almost every female idols and group out there. twice tzuyu, jeon somi, BM ahyeon, etc. especially the slutshaming Lisa is facing right now, its hilarious cause what she does is such a problem but when their favorite male idol is half naked on stage, it’s “😍😍😍😍” submitted by /u/Which_Mammoth9402 [link] [comments]

169. Nowadays groups need a strong concept to "survive"

  • 1 day ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Disclaimer: I'm in no way an expert, nor in marketing, nor in any music production field. This is merely my thoughts as a consumer of Kpop contents. OK, "survive" is maybe a strong word but hear me out. A lot of people will agree that as of today, the Kpop industry is quite saturated. A lot of groups are debuting each year, and even if we are in the 5th gen, 3rd gen groups are still around and going strong, with regular comebacks and tours. The result is that if a group wants to get attention, it needs IMO a strong concept to stand out from the mass. A strong concept is not necessarily something loud or "girl-crush", but rather a way to market the group in which, when the general public sees something unrelated, they can instantly think "oh this is so X or Y coded!". A good example would be ILLIT. Despite a rather difficult first year, they debuted with a concept that's instantly recognized. And throughtout their comebacks (Korean and Japanese), they maintained their "magical girl" concept in such a way that they built their brand around this identity. Today, when an ILLIT song plays out, anyone who keeps an eye out on Kpop won't be surprised that it's by them, it makes sense. As for a counterexample, I'd say that Hearts2Hearts is a good one. I love the girls, and what they've been releasing so far, but I can't help myself from wishing that SM would give them a stronger concept. What they had going on for The Chase was really interesting, this dreamy vibe, but Style went quite against it, and FOCUS, while it has some elements reminiscent of The Chase, is quite on its own too. The effect is that any group could have released these songs without people thinking "wait, it should have been H2H." I think it's too bad, given the state of the industry. I'm not afraid for Hearts2Hearts - they are from a Big 4 company and the girls are talented, I know they'll manage. But I would have loved it if SM went big into creating a brand around the group, as they did with Aespa at their debut. As of now, I fear that H2H is not yet distinguishable enough from the mass of other girlgroups around. I focused on the two 5th gen girlgroups I'm most familiar about, so I'm not sure that they are the best examples, just the ones that poped into my head. What are your thoughts about this subject? Do you have any other example in favor or defavor? submitted by /u/coraelie [link] [comments]
