What an extremely competitive year. Jay comes in so close to complete the podium for 02z but Taehyun edges everyone else. 🥇Taehyun (Tomorrow x Together) - 20 votes 🥈Sunghoon (Enhypen) - 18 votes 🥉Jake (Enhypen) - 14 votes Past winners: 2003: Sunoo (Enhypen) 2004: Jungwon (Enhypen) 2005: Ni-ki (Enhypen) 2006: Haru (Xlov) 2007: Han Yujin (Zerobaseone) Rules: Duplicates are allowed, but only a comment with the most upvotes will be counted. For example if there are multiple comments for A but only have 1 upvote each, while there is a comment for B with more upvotes than any of the A comments, then B will win the vote. Comment with more than one idol, a female idol, and an idol out of their birth year range is automatically disqualified There will be honorable mentions for the runner up and third place on each post submitted by /u/EmanuelTheodorus [link] [comments]
The article, just as this title states, was about how people were saying it's excessive with how much bodyguards they have and how the bodyguards push people away is cruel. It blows my mind that people don't think about it more. In the article it was about ZB1. If you need to think about why they have security let me remind you, TVXQ orange juice incident where someone who Yunho thought was staff gave him an orange juice with glue in it. The attempt to sabotage the car from A.C.E by putting glue on the door handles which would have caused physical harm. This is a bit lighter but Vixx being kidnapped by a random person to be brought to the princess of the country who was a fan of them. Do i agree with how they are being pushed? Absolutely not. But do i think all this protection is necessary? Sadly yes. Bad people exist with the intention to hurt idols for simply existing. So the article kind of just blew my mind how making sure they are safe from harm is excessive. Thank you for listening to my rant submitted by /u/WookWon [link] [comments]

I feel like a lot of times people will say a group is stronger vocally but are only talking about main vocalists or main and lead vocalists. What's a group where you think every member is strong vocally (or can at least hold it down if needed)? For me personally, I think no one comes close to Brown Eyed Girls or EXID. 3rd gen, I think Pristin, Red Velvet, and gugudan (as well as IOI) were strong and balanced. For newer groups, I feel like NMIXX is super strong as well as LOONA (and all of their new groups and projects). Who comes to mind for you? submitted by /u/stanschuu [link] [comments]
Hey hey! Sorry, first of all, if this is the wrong sub for it. Anyway, I’m rather new to kpop, and most of the music I’ve listened to before has had only one main vocalist, or at most two. Now, I’m listening to a lot of bands with three, five, eight vocalists, and it’s hard for me to tell them all apart, which I feel bad about — I feel I should be able to recognize the different singers, and tell apart their styles, etc. Does it just come with time, or are there things I could be doing or focusing on? Thanks! submitted by /u/_specialcharacter [link] [comments]

How to tell antis from fans Extreme passive agressiveness Fan: Anyone notice how pretty [insert idol] is? Her nose is so cute. Anti: Anyone notice how [insert idol] clearly had a nose job. She looks gorgeous though but I'm sure it's not just me like it's so obvious right? Fake positivity to the point it's negative Fan: I really liked the song but I just can't get into this one part. Anti: I honestly loved the song, I'm just not a fan of that irritating chorus, or the weird bridge or most of the verses but [insert idol]'s rap was everything. Comparing everything Fan: I like both group's music but I prefer [insert group] 's concept a little more. Anti: Both group's music is everything we need in k-pop but while I love [insert group] 's concepts it reminds me too much of [insert other group]. Plain hidden jealousy Fan: I preferred their old production but I'm glad their vocals have improved. Anti: I miss [insert random era] their current production is so lackluster. At least it'll still do well since they're so famous now. A lot of exaggeration Fan: [Insert idol name] is receiving a lot of hate right now for [insert controversial post]. Anti: [insert idol name] has been hit with a massive hate train for a very big controversy that everyone is currently talking about. I understand fully that a lot of the time fans talk like antis that's completely true but there's a clear difference here on how a fan and anti communicate and how fans should watch out for overly negative, passive aggressive and overexaggerated behavior in their own communication such as this. I'm also fully aware there are many more examples than this. submitted by /u/onlyeveryotherday [link] [comments]

Let's see something new, a lot of just who has the best songs, prettiest members, etc... What about who has the best instrumentals. Who do you think? In your comment, pick 1 GG and 1 BG. Its fine if you only pick a GG or a BG though! submitted by /u/Trick-Force11 [link] [comments]

Hi everyone!👋❤️ Today I drew Mira from KPop Demon Hunters using two different budgets: $100 vs. $0. https://youtube.com/shorts/4BgDWgCTZv4?si=yjuH06Ry1YAseQja Lara Art YT ⬇️ Creating an illustration with a $100 budget is pretty straightforward — you'll need pencils, markers, brush pens... just use whatever quality art supplies you have on hand. The value of the artwork also reflects the time and effort you put into it .😊 But the most interesting part is — how to draw with a $0 budget. Many people in the comments might say it’s impossible — but not so fast! 🤯 Drawing with $0 means using your imagination and finding materials around you. Here are the materials I used to create the $0 artwork: 🍓 Frozen raspberries 🔥 Burnt match 💄 Cosmetics: foundation 🌺 Hibiscus tea 🍣 Soy souse submitted by /u/Educational_Dingo286 [link] [comments]
I feel like a group like SISTAR or a soloist like Hyuna would have a harder time standing out with their concept nowadays compared to ten years ago. These days, "everyone" is trying to be sexy, it’s kind of funny when I think about it. submitted by /u/Striking-Meal-5257 [link] [comments]
