I have no one to talk to aside from my friends regarding K-pop groups or KPOP in general (We're both far away now because of work) . I wanted to converse with other people about kpop without any ill intentions. Not about charts, streams, or stan wars, but the fun parts. I’ve been trying to find the perfect birthday surprise for my best friend who is a huge Kpop fan. She knows every lyric, every choreo move, and every comeback date. I made a few posts here before, and the ideas I got from everyone were honestly amazing. People helped me come up with so many creative things from themed cakes to DIY merch and photo cards. I’ve been working on it for days, and now I think I finally found the perfect idea. This gift turned out so good that I bet even you won’t be able to stop smiling when you see it. I never really had an interest in ADP but I chanced upon some of their vlogs and I've found Annie to be quite charming. She's a bit older for a new Kpop idol and I think having life experiences outside of being a Kpop trainee and having gone to uni, makes her a lot more interesting and relatable. She's also quite sweet to her members and seems to be a good leader. Tried to find more videos/clips of her but it's all snark and just in general, really hateful. I posted earlier asking for K-pop birthday gift ideas for my best friend, and someone suggested using SKZoo or BT21 characters to recreate a funny scene. I honestly loved that comment — it’s such a cute and creative idea, and I really appreciate it. Now I’m thinking about how to make it even better. Maybe I could turn it into a small DIY project or some kind of decoration that matches the theme. If anyone has more ideas that would go well with the SKZoo or BT21 concept, I’d love to hear them. Tbh I understand the concerns of both the sides. Hybe as a company invested a large sum of money for a certain project and clearly they wanted the ROI for atleast next 7 year (the standard contract period) which is justified from a business stand point. But also I feel like the girls are so young and forcing them to work against their will (keeping in consideration how the events unfolded one after another since last year) in a company they desperately want to escape would be too difficult for them... Imagine it would be so awkward for artists in the same building like lsf and illit to even have a casual interaction with new jeans amd vice versa...... Working in a such condition could affect their mental health adversely...I want both the parties to part ways amicably without any bad blood (maybe some financial settlement between both the parties can work in this case). Also, if they work under Ador many fans will feel like they are not working willingly and are being forced to do so....thus every smile, every silence, every words and every minor incidents will be scrutinized and that will put a dent on the bubbly girl next door image...Also I feel like it would be imposible for Hybe to hope for or engage in any long term partnership with New Jeans unlike BTS or Seventeen....Bcoz its clear they are leaving the company anyway after 5 years....So isn't it better for both the parties to part ways?.. submitted by /u/Due_Collection_3363 [link] [comments]
