Did anyone else think TWICE’s performance was the weakest one on the show? The vocals were rough, and it really shows how many K-pop groups tend to prioritize visuals and heavy autotune over actual singing. And I don’t just mean TWICE this applies to most groups, even BTS. I don’t have a favorite group, so this isn’t coming from bias. I’m just speaking as a former K-pop fan who doesn’t have rose-colored glasses anymore. Let's get all the immediate stuff out of the way right away. Was it the best performance ever? No. Was the singing the best? No. However, the performance was fun and that is the most important thing! It was quite obvious to me they had mic issues, especially poor Tzuyu but they powered through. (Also have to shoutout Nayeon's unreal stage presence) What people don't realize is that TWICE has nine members. That means they had to perform with less than HALF their group. Also, just the four of them had to be quite widely spread out with little moving space. It was all a tough challenge. This is also not including the fact of how busy they are.
