I need songs for my Kpop playlist
I already have a playlist with 132 songs, but since I haven't been a K-pop fan for very long (almost four months; I was briefly a fan before that, but not for very long), I'm open to adding new songs and trying them out. Maybe I'll find some new favorites! Can anyone recommend any songs? submitted by /u/Kuffy_26 [link] [comments]

16. From a Korean perspective, the Kpopfap sub is kind of disgusting.

I understand, of course, that what they are saying on the internet is completely legal by international standards. However, in the South Korean judicial system and law, sexual harassment conducted over the internet is considered a form of sex crime. Even, the girls they are sexually harassing are sometimes minors by Korean standards. This is because the legal age of majority in South Korean law starts at 19.(This is not essential, but culturally, in Korea, adulthood begins at 20 by Korean age. This essentially creates a difference of a few months between the legal age of majority and the cultural age of adulthood.) If they were in South Korea, they would have had to face a judge on charges of a sex crime, specifically a disgraceful sex offense against a minor. Although this is not at all the case by U.S. standards, I keep finding myself thinking in terms of Korean standards. submitted by /u/Embarrassed_Clue1758 [link] [comments]

20. "Lisa as a soloist is not kpop" is ridiculous and incredibly xenophobic

  • 4 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I've seen people claiming that because she's not Korean, her solo songs are not Kpop. Lisa was in Korea for a long time, and heavily involved in the Kpop industry (AND STILL IS). Just because she's spending more time overseas now doesn't change where she came from. submitted by /u/SpecSlayerSC [link] [comments]

21. K-pop lost the fun. everyone’s too busy arguing to enjoy it anymore.

  • 4 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

K-pop isn’t actually getting “worse,” it’s just getting boring because the new wave of stans made it boringggg everyone’s too busy policing vibes, overanalyzing every idol’s breath, and turning every comeback into a stan war instead of just… enjoying the music?? like when did liking more than one group become a crime? now it’s all “who’s the it girl,” “who’s the main visual,” “who’s flopping,” “who’s charting” — like girl… when’s the last time you even streamed a b-side?? 💀 K-pop used to be fun, messy, and creative — now it’s spreadsheets, fanwars, and fake woke takes on Twitter. bring back the chaos era when people actually liked music and not just their fave’s brand deals and also??? a lot of people keep saying “keep K-pop Korean,” but then get mad whenever a member doesn’t know how to speak English?? like?? the irony is insane submitted by /u/ShipArtistic4139 [link] [comments]

22. What group do you not understand the hype?

  • 4 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

For me its All Day Project. They just reheated Kard nachos with a hint of homophobia , nepotism , and racism. Their debut was a meh. I dont even understand the hype behind them to. this is just a over budget kpop group that skipped media training and their company is just Annies parents and overworked execs. submitted by /u/Ssqpphirc1111 [link] [comments]

23. What instrumentals would fit well in specific movie genres?

  • 5 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

For example, Itzy's Loco instrumental could be in an action movie. Maybe some could fit well in science fiction or fantasy, or a drama or whatever. You could either bring up other types of media such as video games. Or what would best for a rave. submitted by /u/SpecSlayerSC [link] [comments]
