Yeah i know im late but better be late than never. Everything about this song is perfect from the beat and the vocal delivery is top tier. I actually prefer this song than the title track thunder submitted by /u/Chemical_Mobile_6613 [link] [comments]
I am not hating on Cortis. What do I have to hate on? They've only been a group for, like, a month? Their music is also fun to listen to. A long, long time ago—over 6 months aho, someone once said something very insightful to me. Do you want to know what they said to me? They had said the only reason why K-pop seems— or seemed—unique is because it's late to trends. Everyday I realize how absolutely correct they were. I'm not going to get into the whole K-pop and westernization debacle because I believe the answer is very obvious(you can infer my stance just from the title itself) but I will mention the so called westernization of K-pop because it will be relevant.....I think. So on August 11th, Cortis released a song named "GO!" And everyone was like this is so good (rightfully so) Some even said they were novel and unique. Some said the song was just a copy of 2010s hip pop music. I understand both sides but I agree with the latter. GO! Sounds exactly like something that'd be popular 9-6 years ago. Maybe they were going for that nostalgic feel but I would be lying if I said that GO! didn't sound like something Playboi Carti release back in his rookie days. This isn't a negative but my argument isn't that Cortis is bad; my argument is that Cortis isn't doing anything revolutionary. I feel like some K-pop stans only listen to K-pop, which isn't a bad thing but it does limit you( the same goes for only listening to one specific genre), so that's why they think Cortis is unique. Maybe they are unique but I feel like that only applies to K-pop. Their style of music isn't really the rage right now (I could be wrong, I'm only an occasional hip-pop listener) so maybe they are truly unique. Maybe that's their mojo, making nostalgic music. submitted by /u/gocatchyourcalm [link] [comments]

I see several media platforms and people hating on Hybe. Sites like koreaboo especially have a beef with them for some reason. I think it intensified during NJ drama but honestly do you think Hybe is that bad? Let's not count BTS because they are kinda special case and probably have much more privileges then other groups for obvious reasons. Every big K-pop company had several dramas and has been accused of many things so I truly don't understand why people especially want to slam Hybe right now. I'm not any company Stan simply because I see all of them as kinda equally shady and equally good. You will find great and not so good people in all of them. Running a company when probably few hundred/thousand people work and everyone will be good is impossible. Especially those in power only look at numbers and stats to satisfy shareholders and themselves. What makes Hybe worse then others? Do they really treat idols aside from BTS worse then any big or small K-pop company? submitted by /u/TruthApprehensive304 [link] [comments]
...to celebrate, I wanted to make a little post! Give me a number between 1 and 1,358, and I'll tell you what song that corresponds to on my Kpop playlist with all my songs on it. :) Also, feel free to ask me any other questions about my Kpop listening habits, haha. submitted by /u/petrichor-pixels [link] [comments]

Like the question is that because I was going to say that at least they’re good with snsd but then I remembered what they did to them for their 10th anniversary and then I shut up. Apart from snsd aespa red velvet and the grace M.I.L.K and S.E.S is there any other girl group they had? submitted by /u/AggravatingEar3738 [link] [comments]
