Is ARTMS' concept "hurt"? Does their clubbing subconcept fit into that?

If they say an AI wrote it, then we can report the music video for not having an AI disclaimer?! Thoughts? submitted by /u/Ok_Community_8481 [link] [comments]

I have this theory that a bunch of gen 4 girl groups have moved into a more vulnerable phase lyrically. ITZY with "Gold", Le Sserafim with "Different." aespa seems to be the most blatant exception to this in style and concept and mini concepts.. i-dle seems counter-cycle, like they won so less vulnerable now. But with ARTMS I think their concept is just "hurt." It's a continuation of that girl-crush-vulnerability trend but pretty specific. And yeah they're gen5, but a continuation of a gen4 group and that's very relevant to their concept. You have a big big big motif with broken wings in "Icarus," "Virtual Angel." "Icarus" lyrics go hard, about rebirth, yearning for rebirth above all else. You have building on the Loona legacy which I think fans associated with hurt. I've also seen their concept as sort of 3 pronged: broken-winged angel, humble / fresh start (like they vibe like rookies), and clubbing. I'm not one to go into visuals too much but I will say Heejin carries all 3 of those and it does wonders for them. But the clubbing one is interesting here because I bet from different random people you get different answers to the question, is clubbing for cool people? They show it in-concept more as like, club for the damned. Then in the real world it's just like a kpop hangout. But it plays on this identity and anxiety in kpop spaces like, are we "Different" (LSFM), or more whole when we're together (ITZY). submitted by /u/abyssazaur [link] [comments]
ive been to a bunch of kpop shows now in both LA and in las vegas and i just really feel like its more fun in vegas we have arenas and stadiums, it’s easier AND cheaper to park, way less traffic, and the lodging is widely available within walking distance of the venue there are so many california dates and never any vegas dates (and i know so many cities are neglected already) the “what happens in vegas stays in vegas” energy is just so real lol the crowds for twice and LSFM proved it & the artists just seem to have so much fun i hope you all get to attend a vegas date one day submitted by /u/freakmodesoobin [link] [comments]

I'll preface this with saying I am personally not a fan of this group, and while I've listened to a handful of their releases, including GALA, but much like Aespa, I can't get into their sound and style. And that's ok, but it does leave me wondering what makes them so popular otherwise. On a surface level, they have good rappers and some interesting styling choices. What are XG's obvious strengths? submitted by /u/FanCaracal [link] [comments]
I see everyone do one of these, I did one in the past and it was very fun. I'm a multi stan so I love alot of groups. submitted by /u/DdeonghwaDib [link] [comments]

Yoongi (Agust D) made his first IG post since two years and not even two days later a huge fanwar is going on on X because according to some ARMY, Jennie liked his post and later unliked it. Now both fd’s are at each other’s throats, at the cost of these two artists who, let’s be honest here, are very likely friends or at least acquaintances. ARMY are slutshaming Jennie and calling her an attention seeker and overall being wildly misogynistic. Blinks are needlessly bringing up Yoongi’s “DUI” and calling him a criminal. I have blocked dozens of accounts since I woke up and the worst part is that both think they have the moral high ground. In reality these artists are probably pissed as hell about the behavior of their embarrassing “fans”. submitted by /u/scoops_trooper [link] [comments]

From debut until now, Liz’s look has definitely gone through a noticeable transformation. At first, I thought it might just be a natural glow-up or changes in styling but recently I can’t help but notice how different she looks compared to her debut days. This isn’t meant in a negative way at all, but more as an observation. She seems to be leaning toward a look that reminds me a lot of Wonyoung - whether it’s the styling, makeup choices, or maybe just the overall group concept that Starship is going for. It makes me wonder: is this simply part of her evolving image, or are the members slowly being styled in a way that makes them resemble each other - with Wonyoung being the reference point? What do you think? Is it just natural changes and styling or is there a deliberate push to make the girls more visually similar? submitted by /u/khaisu_aru_huisu [link] [comments]
