I love aespa's music and saw them live noy long ago. I've recently been trying to get in to them and learn about the group. I've been watching some funny videos, weverse videos and vlogs. I still need to watch more but i was watching them on knowing bros episode and ningning said she's not a nice person and was proud to say it. I was so shocked because throughout aespa videos i watched she seemed so sweet and nice. I wonder why she thinks she's not a nice person. Throughout my life I've tried sooooo hard to be a nice person and ningning saying that brang a new perspective for me. I'm sure she is nice to her members otherwise they would dislike each other and they dont. people in life try so hard to be nice and call themselves a nice person so this was a culture shock to me in way. What's everyone's opinion about this maybe she just said it to look cool and edgy? I'm sure she tries to treat people well and be nice otherwise nobody would like her. submitted by /u/SlowDelay8831 [link] [comments]
That song is sooo good and even better live, i mean jimin is not playing with those vocals, and obviously He is the best performancer in kpop according to me, the dance on that song, the visual the grace he have is soo soo good. But i never see people talking about it at all, either they be talking about filter or like crazy but Lie is soo criminally underrated. submitted by /u/dazaiyoupoorsoul [link] [comments]

Saw a similar post earlier this week, thought it might be fun. For example - Joy from Red Velvet is SOOOO Baywatch coded. 🌸 submitted by /u/Ausonia7 [link] [comments]

Don't take this as hate, I like i-dle's music. I just feel like they are very title track heavy with rare b-side hits. Like most of the time they have one good title track and maybe one good b-side per album/ep (even though I did not like wife or girlfriend) I do give them a chance but their bsides rarely stand out and I forget them super fast. There are some I like : villain dies, dahlia, already But the three latest albums (the ones with superlady, queencard and good thing) I feel like the b-sides were pretty mediocre HOWEVER if some of them stood out to you recommendations are welcome! Again no hate, I am NOT saying they always have bad b-sides just kind of one of those groups with quantity over quality especially with the latest releases. Groups like le sserafim, illit and red velvet have almost always multiple good bsides if not no skip. submitted by /u/Impressive_Cod9892 [link] [comments]

GD has really been hyping VIPs up on his tour with mentions of something big happening in 2026 for Big Bang's 20th anniversary. I love Big Bang and would love to see an OT4 reunion but honestly I don't see TOP being ready for any sort of big performance like that. He's just now getting back in the public eye and still seems very unsure of himself, he said in a Netflix interview that he was anxious getting on stage. I think he has PTSD from the way he was absolutely crucified after his scandal (but that's just my personal thoughts.) Recently I saw GD liked someone's post on Instagram that was OT5 with a whole bunch of pictures of the original BB. I'm sure GD gets tagged in hundreds of thousands of IG posts so maybe he just wasn't paying attention that day, but it gave me the ick. Then I started to think what if GD wanted to get them all together? To me, that seems pretty tone deaf all things considered, and I don't think that it would have a good reception among VIPs... but I do know Seungri and OT5 do still have fans. Thoughts? Thanks for the answers everyone! It was making me sweat for some reason. 😅 you have put my mind at ease! submitted by /u/probablyaduckling [link] [comments]

They were sooo good, i loved there songs, what happened??? I was hearing things like sneakers song have to do something with that?? That song was good i mean to me it didn't sound bad to cause any downfall. submitted by /u/dazaiyoupoorsoul [link] [comments]
Obviously not all, but whenever i speak anything about jennie it turns into a war on reddit 😭, once i commented under a post saying which female idol have the sexist stage presence and i kid u not, like eveyone rushed to the comments saying shit no bluh bluh, im like okay okay chill, its not that deep 😅. Whats the reason behind all this fire, i seriously never understand? Can anyone explain. submitted by /u/dazaiyoupoorsoul [link] [comments]
One of the biggest gray areas in K-pop right now is the way fans organize mass streaming and bulk buying efforts to boost their favorite idols on charts. Almost every single fanbase of popular groups do this. I've seen people here argue that this behavior distorts the reality of who’s actually popular, and most of the chart positions are gained through artificially inflated streams and sales. That it's just manipulation and fraud. We have seen these ''fraud'' allegations thrown at some of the biggest and most successful groups in Kpop either by fans of Western groups/western media and even Kpop fans themselves. Does mass buying and mass streaming (and also playlisting by the companies) devalue the meaning of success of the group itself? On the other hand, you could argue that this just shows dedication. Fans are investing time and money to support their idols in a system that already heavily favors numbers. And isn't that more important for any group that hopes to sustain in the long run especially in such a fast paced industry? What are your thoughts? Let’s keep it a nuanced discussion please, not about targeting any specific fandom or group. submitted by /u/KpopDivas [link] [comments]
