I’m sure there’s a lot more nuance to this - whatever, but maybe we see an influx of posts doing ‘well’ pertaining to xyz because a lot of us… actually feel that way or agree? I don’t think everything has to go back to a conspiracy. ‘Everyone hates this company/group’ or ‘this subreddit is an xyz snark now’ comments are silly. We all love our groups I get that, but if there’s hundreds of us having the same mindset, it’s saying something. I listen to every major group that has made an appearance on this subreddit and that doesn’t stop me from agreeing with posts that maybe don’t paint those groups or their companies in the best light? I love Blackpink! They got me into kpop years and years ago. Is their new MV littered with AI? Probably - unfortunately. I love Aespa! I stopped listening to kpop for years, and Black Mamba came out and reignited my passion/soul. They are beautiful, incredibly vocally talented, and I love their sound. But they absolutely do not sing live often - whether it’s them or SM choosing this I don’t know and I don’t think ever fully know, and they do not have incredible stage presence. I don’t think there’s any denying this even as a fan. I think sweeping everything under the rug is how things never change, and unfortunately even with expressing these things they don’t seem to change either. Using DARVO every time someone says anything about a group you like is wild and tiring. submitted by /u/Few_Throat6620 [link] [comments]

I was with a couple of friends a night ago. We are all Kpop fans and we took a moment to discuss certain grievances in our Kpop experience. A friend mentioned how young Kpop artists debut. I noticed this too but it never truly registered until I was listening to Jungkook and I remembered this man debuted when he was an early teen. A lot of these artists will be scouted or will train while their below the age of consent. We as fans know how physically exhausting training is and the diets they have to go through which is paired with their school. Then they debut still as teenagers and now they have to deal with various types of fans. There are fans who respectful and understand that their front lobe hasn't fully formed. There are fans who will thirst heavily over these teenagers and they know how old they are. There are fans who will infantilise them til no end and fans who will find a reason to make a scandal about them. These kids are literally put in the spotlight with see through t-shirts, tight leather jeans and sweat and some people will literally be panting over how sexy they look. They are then told to indulge in such behaviours for marketing purposes. It's so wild. They have to deal with sasaengs who I don't even know where in the world they are from. They just arrived guys and suddenly they don't have a childhood to live out. All they know is the training, the brutally exhausting schedules, keeping up appearances because one slip up and some entitled fans will crash out like they birthed them. It has never .afe sense to me why agencies debut young teens? They go through the wildest things ever. Is it a Korean or Asian thing? Am I overthinking a small thing? Maybe I'm wrong but I just wanted to vent. Bye. submitted by /u/justanotherbeing999 [link] [comments]

I know no one would've expected it, one is a girl group and the other is a rock band. The two groups came from different worlds, genres, and eras. Everything about them was different, except for a few similarities I found: NJ debut album was on August 2022 - RHCP debut album was on August 1984 (both were self-titled). NJ had songs called Get Up, Tell Me, Right Now and How Sweet - RHCP had songs called Get Up and Jump, Tell Me Baby, Right on Time and How Strong. In 1990, RHCP felt mistreated at EMI and wanted to leave, despite their contract still required them to do 3 more albums - As we all know NJ is facing an almost similar situation at the moment. NJ's producer accused Illit of copying their style - RHCP frontman accused Mike Patton from Faith No More, of copying his style. One of NJ's members is Danielle, called Dani - RHCP had 3 songs about a girl named Dani. Kang Haerin and John Frusciante had similarly shy, introverted personalities. Both released albums in 2022. submitted by /u/Gullible-Distance594 [link] [comments]

I love the song, but the MV... it's a little tiring to watch. It's so fast, so frantic, with so many frantic movements and angle changes... at first I thought something was wrong with me, until I realized that the MV might be overstimulating me xD I don't know if it's just me, but well, I guess I'll have to stick with the audio xD submitted by /u/_issio [link] [comments]

These are the ones i'm talking about Taemin, (HYEONGSEOP, FUMA, SUNGHO, HAN YUJIN Bae Suzy Rei and An Yujin V MONSTA X SHOWNU X HYUNGWON Haewon Lee know Karina Jimin SEUNGKWAN DOYOUNG, JUNGWOO Monsta X Ningning IU NANA,MOON SUA,HUENING BAHIYYIH,HAEWON, NAYEON There's probably a lot more. I just love these kind of videos so much because you can find out a lot about idols and they find out a lot about their fans. Like I never knew that Haewon went to an academic school (smart choice) or that they discontinued the inkigayo sandwich. I also love the ones when there are multiple idols because the interactions are cute , in this one the reactions to the rookie idols finding out they were talking to Nayeon was so funny. There are also sentimental videos like when Jimin realised the struggles of provincials fans and how much BTS helped some people when their lives weren't going that well. There are also some that are just funny like Ningnings, Karinas and V's. Idk what the point of this post was I jsut wanted to talk abt how good pixid is submitted by /u/AvocadoFun3905 [link] [comments]
