This year meovv had a semi hit with hands up. It was doing really well on Spotify,at some point it was one of the most streamed 5th gen songs of the year and received more than a million streams daily. It's also their first song to chart and peak relatively high on melon. I thought tbl would take advantage of it because it was really their moment,it was really their chance to expand meovv's reach to more people but they didn’t do a lot with it. They did better with mewo era promos (they used to be even less) but it wasn't much other than a lot of music show performances. Adp was everywhere for their debut promos,music show performances,interviews,tiktoks,showing that they have the ability to properly promote their grps,they just choose to not do it with meovv. During debut era things were even worse, to the point where it felt like they disappeared off the face of the earth after the it ended. Like,I caught myself wondering what about meovv cause it felt like they just came and went. Hell,neither their debut nor first comeback got a physical,while adp got physicals right away. Now,they announced their jp debut just 4 days prior to release. Tbl acts like meovv is an already established act and not a rookie grp in a competitive environment where they need to use all their resources and abilities to put them and keep them on people's radars. i know a lot of armys/other stans of groups have kind of 'joked' on how much the tickets will actually be in 2026, since they were very expensive in 2020 for mots and previous tours before when the world was decently affordable to live in, but not the prices they are or will be now especially after bts had their big big big 'western' breakout with the english songs and mind you the economy everywhere beyond america is shit. but with seeing how much txts, katseyes, and enhypens are for non presale tickets.. its making me question genuinely how much are they [hybe] and ticketmaster or livenation are willing to price these things. especially if bts comes to more underrated places in america like florida or washington dc which not many many groups goes to those places. submitted by /u/Comfortable-Tour9579 [link] [comments]
