I came across a TikTok on my fyp (I wasn't looking at the screen, just listening) and i literally thought it was enhypen performing future perfect (pass the mic) on their tour but it was cortis performing fashion. I know some members of cortis have produced songs for enhypen (like outside) and they are both under hybe so ofc there's gonna be similarities and similar songs happen all the time, nothing new. but if you liked fashion, you might want to check future perfect (pass the mic) and vice versa submitted by /u/Weary_Occasion1287 [link] [comments]

Random morning emotions. Listening to TPN Pt.3 as I start my day & thinking about how amazing this group was, & how much they delivered during their short time. There are plenty of artists that are capable of making good music, excellent music even. But not everybody can truly STICK OUT from the crowd, just by result of there being so many people in the industry out & about. GWSN to this very day have a sound & look that feel so distinct. They really had it in the bag. Dreamy MVs with creative set design, excellent songs with a distinct atmosphere, executed so well that now some people dub othersongs that sound anywhere similar as "GWSN-like". I also think the group had some really underrated singers. From ad-libs, to highnotes, to runs; every vocal performance for each of their songs was executed with such finesse. Special shout outs to Lena: I just lovee her voice so much. I'm glad theyre out of that god awful company, but it still sucks that we didn't get more from them. Thankfully they were able to put out a catalogue that, while small, is large enough to keep me glued in for the rest of my life. At the end of the day, when you move past all the flash, the glitz, the instantly catchy title tracks; The good music will be what sticks around. GWSN world domination still exists in my mind â€ïž I will own at least ONE of their CDs one day submitted by /u/loreleiceladon [link] [comments]
Itâs really disappointing to see big accounts trying to set RosĂ© up for hate trains. Even Olivia fans have started dragging her because certain blue tick channels twisted her VMA achievement with misleading âpaved the wayâ titles, all for clout and money. Instead of focusing on her success, theyâre pushing her into fanwars that she never asked for. This moment was the time to celebrate rosĂ© success but instead ended up with fights between fandoms and dragging rosĂ© for something she didn't even asked for. But RosĂ©âs VMA win is something that should be celebrated on its own. She worked incredibly hard for this moment, and her talent is finally being recognized on a global stage.đ Thatâs huge and deserves respect. Winning a VMA is a huge honor on its own, but calling it âpaving the wayâ is simply wrong. âPaved the wayâ is a very heavy phrase. It doesnât just mean winning an award, it refers to breaking barriers, opening doors for others, or changing the industry in such a big way that the path becomes easier for the next generation. Thatâs something built over years of influence, not from one single award. By throwing that phrase casually onto RosĂ©âs accomplishment, people are undermining both her win and the true meaning of paving the way. That doesnât lessen RosĂ©âs accomplishment in any way. In fact, this win adds to her growing legacy and proves she is carving her own path as a respected artist. RosĂ© doesnât need exaggerated titles to shine, her artistry, hard work, and achievements already speak volumes. Real Blinks should stand behind her and celebrate her success, instead of giving attention to clout chasers who only care about engagement and money. RosĂ© deserves recognition for her own hard work and talent, not for being dragged into unnecessary fanwars because of careless wordings submitted by /u/kpopbloom_pink [link] [comments]
i was kind of nervous right before listening to it, because i was afraid of things like changing their sound or it not being what i at least expected it to be, but it turned out to be amazing. i was immediately of some of their previous title tracks and i was especially reminded of baam. people on x have said that the song is really good as well, so i might as well ask here. as a 2018-2019 ish merry, i was freaking out the whole mv. i was just way too nervous about things but it turned out to be exceeding my expectations. even so, i still came on x to see reactions of other people. all in all, i'm really satisfied with how fair it is overall (if you know what i mean). i really can't wait to see what they'll release next. indeed, welcome back momoland. submitted by /u/ItsMe_Chloee [link] [comments]
I don't think their dancing is the best in Kpop, but I think it's the best for a western group. It also feels like they have a whole space in front of them with no competition. At first I didn't really get the necessity of a girl group since they're so rare in the west, but seeing them on the MTV Awards red carpet, it made a lot of sense. 6 young women aged around 19-20 that you can dress in the latest fashion and show off at events, I can't think of anyone else in the west right now. Their styling is crazy, but it reminds me of old clips of Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera wearing crazy stuff in the 90s or 2000s. I personally prefer their cute songs like Touch and Gameboy, but I think they are priming them to be a sexy group. I also feel like the group is getting a lot of influence from Lara since she seems to have such a strong creative identity and Lara has such a unique vibe. I didn't see it at first because I thought their dancing was giving musical theater, but that might be appropriate for this era anyway. Ariane Grande has gone full theatre kid and she's still popular. Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan are kind of dorky. Billie Eilish was homeschooled. And Tate McRae is a dancer too so that helps bring more interest into dancing. In any case, I feel like now that they are known in the US, they could start getting hits that top charts. submitted by /u/purplenelly [link] [comments]

Are there idols who paid to debut? Who do you think did? I love aespa so much and my bias is Giselle, but sometimes I feel like she might have paid to debut. (Iâm not saying they lack talent or donât deserve to debut, but sometimes you wonder how some idols debuted with little singing or dancing skills) submitted by /u/lym96 [link] [comments]
