Personally I am not a big bp stan but yeah seeing some of the clips. I think the girls have gained more confidence and are truly enjoying the concerts. Moreover seeing celebs joining their concert like Bts to be precise.. makes me feel that it is a change for k-pop industry and specially for the 3rd gen. And yeah another thing, in my opinion they enjoy concerts more outside korea and show their brightest stage presences.. i think it’s easier for them to date secretly because dispatch can’t expose same sex couples and if someone saw two girls or two boys hanging out they’d assume they’re simply just friends, but the fact that they can’t ever announce they’re dating or getting married publicly (not saying all of them want to do it) but if they did, that would mean the end of their careers and god knows what would happen.. a heterosexual relationship can still be supported, but a queer relationship… this thought just crossed my mind and now i just feel so sad for them submitted by /u/sunsetky [link] [comments]

There is currently a daily posting series going on in the kpoppers subreddit where each day users in the comments vote for the best song of the year (from 2025 back to 1st gen kpop). I am posting this question because I see that currently each year has been won by a girl group song. And not only that but 90% of the comments are also girl group songs. From the top upvoted comment for song of that year, all the way down to comments that don't have more than a few upvotes. 90% of them are girl group songs.
