I've been listening to K-pop since 2017, but now I'm super tired of it. Only a few groups still catch my attention. Can anyone suggest some other music genres? submitted by /u/Fun_Flower2175 [link] [comments]

950. Here's What I Think BTS 2026 Tour Will Look Like

  • 1 week ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

BTS has confirmed their 2026 tour, and here's what I think it'll look like. I'm basing this off of the Map of the Soul Tour, and some of these are my own hopes as well 4 shows in Seoul at Seoul Olympic Stadium 2 shows in Miami at Hard Rock Stadium- I chose Hard Rock over Camping World cuz Hard Rock has a roof whereas Camping World doesn't and this tour will probably take place during the summer. 2 shows in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, 2 shows in Landover, MD at Northwest Stadium, 3 shows in East Rutherford at Metlife Stadium, 2 shows in Toronto at either Rogers Centre or Rogers Stadium, 3 shows in Chicago at Soldier Field, 2 shows in Arlington at AT&T Stadium, 2 shows in Houston at NRG Stadium, 2 shows in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium, 3 shows in LA at SoFi Stadium, 2 shows in Santa Clara at Levi's Stadium and 2 shows in Seattle at Lumen Field. For Europe 2 maybe even 3 shows in London at either Wembley Stadium or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, 2 shows in Dublin at Aviva Stadium, why not. To my knowledge, there's never been a K-Pop concert in Ireland, and why not have BTS be the first one. 2 shows in Barcelona, 2 shows in Paris, 2 shows in Amsterdam, 2 shows in Berlin, 2 shows in Copenhagen and 2 shows in Milan submitted by /u/cwarosvski [link] [comments]

951. I Started, Then Disbanded, A Reddit Based On Compiling K-Pop Discographies. Would Anybody Be Interested In Helping Restart It?

  • reddit.com language

IT'S BEEN YEARS. I started a K-Pop Reddit called The K-Pop Explorers (Now Called the K-Pop Index.) The whole idea was to house a "complete" guide for those folks who have just popped into the genre. I wanted to start a place where people could tune in, find a group/artist they liked and easily listen to/watch all the content related. I started off strong. Over 1,000 users flocked to my group, but it quickly fell apart. I was new to the site back then. I ran into some issues and found that a lot of the people that joined weren't "actually" interested in helping outside of their ALT group. Which is fine...if your willing to update when they release new stuff. I'm looking to start over. This is a passion project. I'm doing it for fun, but feel like others would enjoy the journey. I'm experiencing it for the first time, but I kind of want others to share it with me. I thought about starting a YT channel, but I'm not comfortable in front of a camera. Would anybody be interested in helping? submitted by /u/Lamorosii [link] [comments]

953. Indian women are so gorgeous 😍

First we had Sriya from Blackswan, then Aria from X:IN, and now Lara debuted in Katseye. Indian women are GORGEOUS!! I always thought Indian and South Asian women (like women from Sri Lankan, Bangladesh) are some of the prettiest women in the world. And this recent debut of Indian kpop idols totally proves my stereotype about them. Something about Lara, thought, out of all of them especially captivates my eye - she's so charming and lovely! So this is just a post to appreciate their beauty and debut of Indian kpop idols! submitted by /u/PinkLink81 [link] [comments]

954. Republic Records: You had Kpop Demon Hunters as a success, how about doing more for Twice?

  • 1 week ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Wow we have the phenom " Kpop Demon Hunters" and kudos to co-produces Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. And people like Teddy Park, 24, IDO, Jenna Andrews and Stephen Kirk. And of course Republic Records. Its Chairman/CEO Jim Roppo. Now we don't know exactly what kind of deal RR struck with JYPE, company of Twice but it sucks RR seems so lacking in promoting Twice in America. Like the last album "Strategy", really Jim can't make a single tweet? Look I know Twice found great success in America. Best-selling girl group for 4 consecutive years, Top 10 places in Billboard Top 200 for 6 consecutive years and arena/stadium tours. But what exactly RR has done? Jim how about giving a fair deal to Twice? I know RR got Drake, Morgan Wallen, Taylor Swift and the Weeknd but as you said why don't let your 3 kids ( I found out from the Billboard article) discover there is more than HUNTR/X and Saja Boys? Twice gonna drop their next album "This Is For" this June 11th. So how about it? submitted by /u/Brief_Night_9239 [link] [comments]

961. Does Katseye deserve to do Coachella ?

  • 1 week ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Ik it's a GLOBAL group but let's be honest it works like kpop with some exceptions. Imo, NO. Even if I'm a baby eyekon and I love them it'll be to fast idk if we can say it but for me they're still rookie. Enhypen,Blackpink.... they all did their proves and they weren't considered as rookie or new anymore. And their dischography is too short, they never did a real concert so far and even if the futur I think they would do it, I hope it won't be now cuz it's too early. I post it in this subreddit because I don't want biased people. I love those girls but they have to show more for me maybe for 2027 I think. What are your thoughts? And who should be lined up for Coachella for you ? For 2026 or 2027 ... No hate thanks love those girls again I talked about it because I saw a lot of people talking about it but it's maybe just my fyp 😅 submitted by /u/Fragrant-Loquat1777 [link] [comments]

  • 1 week ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I hate when kpop fans say "oh so and so is a red flag, misogynist,he looks like a f boy" stuff like that and when ppl try to defend those kpop idols they will say "you dont know these ppl,you only see them thru the screen" like bro neither of us know these ppl but its ok for you to make bad assumptions about these ppl and i cant make good assumptions about them....like kpop idols can be both good ppl on and off screen they can be good ppl on screen and bad ppl off screen its a 50/50 type of situation submitted by /u/Own-Individual7352 [link] [comments]
