whats one thing that an idol has done and was burried by the fans or forgotten or just was done a long time ago and people has forgotten but you can't like the idol that has done it anymore ill give out two examples without naming names but iykyk , the first one was my bias in my ult group but I discovered a song that he wrote and performed that has absive and volent lyrics with provocative choreo and since then I don't like him and don't vibe with him anymore , the second one is the soloist that wrote a s*xual song involving a child and had inappropriate illustration in the album cover and the fans said that they were talking about their struggles but when they apologized they literally said I am sorry , didn't say anything about the song being abt themselves. these are two instances that come up to my mind of idols that I can't bring myself to like . submitted by /u/howeveritsloona [link] [comments]

Verivery fans please read this! This is a cry for help! Spoiler about Boys 2 Planet next: Dongheon(the leader of Verivery) just got eliminated(only just though), and I’ve heard a lot of Verrer’s discuss not voting for both Kangmin and Gyehyun to not separate the group. While I somewhat agree, it was the choice of the members to go on the show, and we should support the members in whatever route they choose(by voting for them, or at least not refraining from voting for them solely for the reason of keeping them ‘together‘). Additionally, Kangmin currently ranks at 7th overall, while Gyeheon remains 40th(out of 48) in the current ranking. If we as stans continue this, Kangmin will definitely have to suffer another loss in the next episode. Kangmin’s debut in this group is all but confirmed, and it would be lonelier and harder for him(as well as the other members of Verivery) if he were to debut alone, instead of with Gyeheon. While the debut of two members could cause a lull in group activity, it could ultimately bring a lot of positive effects for the entirety of the group, as demonstrated by other situations(prime example being Minhyun). For example, two members of Verivery active in an extremely successful and famous group(to the degree of Zerobaseone) will bring a lot of attention towards the group, likely expanding the fanbase. There is a high chance that this will also lengthen the contract lifespan of the group and prevent disbanding, as the company will definitely see an advantage in keeping the group. This might also increase group activity, resulting in more albums and content to spur the new boys2planet group’s fans attention. Lastly, it will also bring more attention to their potential solo careers, later along the line. Some fans may still feel as if voting for both will be separating them, but I believe that not voting for either of them for that reason is the same as forcefully separating them from both each other, and their hopes and dreams to be in this new boy group. While I cannot force anyone to do anything I urge everyone to vote for them. I know that most other fans will know this, but all three of the members are amazing and showcase their talent and personality perfectly in boys2planet, as they do in any performance ^^ I urge everyone to vote, if not for the members themselves, then for the future of the group. Seriously, everything he’s touched has turned to gold this year. Meovv the gg under his label really hit their stride this year with a hit song that a lot of people enjoyed - Hands Up. His co-ed group All Day Project took over the Korean charts. Blackpink’s JUMP did so well on global Spotify and of course the Kpop demon hunters soundtrack is literally making and breaking records left, right and center. This man is having the most successful year in kpop so far. Won’t be surprised if he bags a producer of the year award or some of his songs bag awards as well Of course I know he’s not the only one involved in a lot of this. So Blackpink are currently the punching bag of everyone’s criticism, and yeah, some of it is definitely fair. But then I’ll scroll across a TikTok saying something like my title, usually comparing a messy Blackpink stage to groups like TripleS or LOONA to prove how much more synchronized the latter is. And I get it—they do look more synchronized—but the whole “they’re with more members and still manage to look more in sync” thing I keep seeing? That’s just… not how it works lol. It’s actually really simple. When you’ve got only four people dancing, that’s four bodies our eyes can focus on. If one person is even a little off, you’re going to notice instantly. There also aren’t many formations in a small group where someone can be tucked away in the back. That’s why in groups like ITZY or Blackpink, members like Lia and Jisoo have gotten endless hate for their weaker dancing. There’s just no way to hide it in a group that small. Now take NCT 127’s Doyoung for example. He’s admitted himself that he’s not the strongest dancer (please note that before anyone gets offended lol), but I’ve never seen him dragged for it the way smaller-group idols are. Why? Because he’s in a 9-member group. With that many people, choreographers can easily move him to the back, or give him moments to stand still while he sings his lines. And when you’ve got nine people moving together, the small flaws basically blur out—it’s your brain filling in the gaps. So when people say “look, this big group is even more synchronized than that small group,” they’re kind of missing the point. I tried to recreate the song Golden with guitars, vocals, various VST instruments and I must say it wasn't easy at all. The original song is very well composed and this is as close as I could get while trying to create a distinctive rock/pop cover of my own. Is it some new strategy? because I don't think it's working very well. I don't think groups should be overworked and have comeback every week but at least give them a single and EP of 5 songs which they can perform . The sad thing is that a lot of the time the members are very talented but the talent is being wasted by the company. I know it's very hard to succeed especially if you're from a small company and have to compete with the big ones, but I don't think anyone execpt some high budget MV and 10 different outfits, just make them seen so people won't forget about them. we all know how fast paced the kpop industry it and while it's good thing to take the time and craft a good song waiting too much is harming the groups submitted by /u/GeorgeParisol [link] [comments]
