The EXO Wolf demo and the BTS Boyz With Fun demo take the cake for me. Boyz With Fun because RM was just spouting bullshit and Wolf because they tried so hard to make it bad it's hilarious. submitted by /u/Calm-Comfortable2659 [link] [comments]
I love Sticker, I love the flute part, I love the dance, I love the lyrics. I WOULD SCREAM IT AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS IF I COULD. Anyways, ever since it was released, I still don’t understand to this day why people hate it...🧍 Like, I seriously can’t make sense of why someone wouldn’t like it. Some say it’s because of the lyrics, others say it’s because of the flute, and others say it’s because of the ‘stupid vibe’ (????). Could y’all please help me and tell me in detail why you hate it? I WANT TO UNDERSTAND WHY. submitted by /u/HeadIndividual8246 [link] [comments]
Technically, it's very difficult to find Kpop albums with multiple hits because most álbums has 1 title, without promotional singles,. Hence it's difficult to find albums with more than one truth hit song, as Teenage Dream, for instance. However the repackaged álbumn of Oh! by SNSD has 4 hits as not only Oh! and Run Devil Run are part of it, but Genie and Gee are part of the album too. What other albums are filled with hits in Kpop? submitted by /u/taeyang31 [link] [comments]
I had this thought where when companies, especially Big 4, choose to fight hard to renew their artists, or give really favorable terms to keep their artists under the company, even when they are not exactly making the biggest money anymore, is because of the impact of them leaving will damage the company's reputation and reduces trust from shareholders. Since Itzy all renewed their group and solo contracts with JYPE, I imagine that their renewal terms must be very favorable. They are not in the red, but are far from the top earners in JYPE and are not as young as NMIXX is, but their image as a part of JYPE with hits such as "WANNABE" and "DALLA DALLA" is irreplaceable and them leaving would send a message to shareholders that the company has a hard time retaining their IP due to bad decision-making, hence the renewal. Same goes for TWICE, them, along with Stray Kids are the top 2 earners in JYPE, but I don't imagine the company receiving the majority of profits from them as both are already in their second contracts, but the damage to the company image would be substantial if any of them leaves JYPE, even just for their solo contracts. Even conglomerates as big as HYBE, with many sublabels, has trouble with their company image due to the NewJeans issue, and as successful as they are, they're not the faces of HYBE. I don't think BTS will ever leave HYBE, but if it happens, even if it's just a member not renewing his solo contract, I think the damage will be extremely big, so it's probably more favorable to give BTS anything they want for both their solo and group contracts, even if it does not lead to more profits for HYBE. I also can't imagine YG getting a good share of profits from Blackpink's group activities, but they definitely fought hard to keep Blackpink's group IP under them, again, because of how iconic they are to the company. As for the solo contracts, Blackpink members are way too big and ambitious on their own so whatever YG offers in terms of career development will not be good enough. The only agency in the Big 4 that does not have this issue, or at least is confident that their company image or management will not be shaken by loss of IP is SM, but they seem to be the only company that pushes company identity much more with the whole SMTown thing. Even then, they still fight quite hard for the group IPs for Red Velvet and SNSD, despite mismanagement complaints. They likely still gave very favorable terms for their biggest solo names such as Yoona and Taeyeon, that they're willing to renew despite the company's shortcomings. Outside of the Big 4, an example I could think of is CUBE and i-dle, and as their biggest IP, the renewal terms must be extremely favorable that i-dle is willing to stay under them. What do you think? How valuable do you think an artist's IP is to the company? submitted by /u/GaurdsGuards [link] [comments]
Hi everyone! I’m a K-pop fan and developer who built a small Chrome extension called K-Pop Romanizer. I wanted to share it here in case any of you find it helpful (I know self-promo is limited, so I appreciate your time). What it does • Converts Korean lyrics / sentences into English-style romanization so you can sing along more easily • New: TTS (Text-to-Speech) support — listen to the Korean text with pronunciation • Pop-up UI, right-click “Romanize Korean” option, drag-to-highlight → romanize feature • Works locally in your browser — no data is collected or shared • Usable on any webpage through Chrome, so you can romanize Korean text wherever you browse Why I made it / use case As fans, many of us struggle with Korean pronunciation when singing along. This tool bridges that gap. Whether you’re learning Korean, practicing pronunciation, or just want to sing your favorite songs more accurately, this might help. How to try it You can install it from the Chrome Web Store here: K-Pop Romanizer — [Chrome Web Store link] (Screenshots & demo are in the store page.) If anyone wants feedback, suggestions, or finds a bug, I’d love to hear from you! 💬 Thanks for checking it out. submitted by /u/Express-Culture835 [link] [comments]

Like when a random song from them plays and you can immediately be like: "Ahh, it's that groups song" because you can recognise each and every members voice. I think it also depends if you've listened to them long enough and how well you know the group enough that you can separate the voices in your head. I grew up mostly hearing third gen groups so here's mine: Blackpink BTS Gfriend GOT7 Idle Kard Mamamoo Monsta X Nmixx Seventeen SF9 Stray Kids Twice Honorouble mentions (members voices I can immediately recognise in a song): AB6IX - Daehwi Ateez - Jongho, Hongjoong and Mingi Babymonster: I don't know the members very well but I can just tell if it's their song playing by just listening to any of the vocalists Bigbang - G-dragon Cravity - Seongmin and Woobin Everglow - Mia Girls Generation - Taeyeon NCT - Haechan and Mark ONF - MK Pentagon - Hui Purple Kiss - Swan Red Velvet - Wendy and sometimes Seulgi SHINee - Jonghyun StayC - Sieun and J TXT - Taehyun submitted by /u/MelonUniverse [link] [comments]
Like just because he's shit asf doesn't mean the boys will be too. They're seriously talented and their voice sounds so good than some of these autotune warriors. Like y'all their rapping and singing skills blew me away. Like why are some people already praying on their downfalls like hello?!??!? I feel bad for them but let's see What's your guy's opinion on this? submitted by /u/snowywinter3 [link] [comments]
