And all of their songs on Spotify US too (except 0801)! I think they have a good chance to debut multiple songs on Billboard US 100 next week (depending if they can maintain good streams throughout the week) but this is an exciting time for SKZ! They managed to move into top 10 Spotify Artist! Did not manage to break the KDH strong grip but 15.01 million streams for their first day for KARMA album is not a bad day indeed! I saw that JYPE is releasing remixes so this is their effort to push Ceremony higher and we shall see if this effort will be a success or not. I know it is only one day of the release but I am excited nonetless! It is a fitting closure to DominATE tour and a preview of their likely-encore concert/s ahead to really properly end an era (DominATE era). submitted by /u/Many-Ad-9007 [link] [comments]
I think for 5th gen people are always paying attention to their debut but when they make their first comeback everyone is suddenly silent, I can name a few groups who unfortunately suffered from it, xikers, cosmosy, say my name, theres more but tbh I'm too lazy to type đ submitted by /u/hearts4him_ [link] [comments]
Like references to other songs or like things about the group. Cuz my ults tripleS and Billlie do tripleS firework diary's ending chorus is filled with references, with "you're my signal", "whole 24" and "wav" which is the fandom name. They also have 24 which references their songs New Look, Rising, Invincible, Dimension, deja vu, Cherry Talk, Generation and Just do it. With billlie, its BTTB with lyrics "belllie've" which is the fandom name, references to their songs Flipping a Coin, brave, Ring X Ring, Snowy Night, Ring ma bell, GingaMingaYo, EUNOIA, BYOB, The soul saviour, flowerld, Lion heart, moon palace, Sun palace and nevertheless. There is also a lyric "nine nine nine ë€ì, were seven now" which references sheon's time on gp999 and how they are 7 now. Share your thoughts and what songs you like that referance the groups other songs. submitted by /u/DdeonghwaDib [link] [comments]
I would like to say hearts3hearts bit honestly with the way sm treats their groups after like the 7 year contract I fear they will end up like red velvet... But I think illit, xikers or TWS might actually survive, they are able to maintain their fanbase and yes ik xikers isn't that popular but they are at the point where I think they can maintain their fanbase and they aren't really loosing or gaining popularity but I feel like groups like illit xikers and TWS have that longevity in them, ik there's other groups but idk yet submitted by /u/hearts4him_ [link] [comments]

TW: Mentions of suicide & abuse I lose so much faith in humanity knowing that companies have gotten away with so much horrific stuff including this. SM Entertainment is especially guilty of pushing their idols to the point where they end up taking their own lives, not once acknowledging their blatant cries for help. What happened to Jonghyun & Sulli shouldâve been enough to have the company put under criminal investigation. They deliberately mistreated their idols & completely neglected their wellbeing, which is 100% exploitation & neglect. Hell, Sulli's death in particular sparked changes in the Korean law system yet the country seems to have learned absolutely nothing. Itâd be foolish to ignore the very obvious worsening pattern of behaviour. Must we remind ourselves of the abuse of Media Line & especially Open World Entertainment? The latter one was even investigated by police & was forced to shut down. Serious question: what makes companies like SM any better than ones like Open World & Media Line? The established idols & groups? The money theyâve managed to accumulate over the years? Them being able to find ways to distract the public? Who's to say they've not engaged in situations where they've covered up awful acts like violence & SA & forced idols to sign NDAs, so they wouldn't be able to speak out? Some may call that a reach, but based on all that's been exposed of them, is it really a stretch? Imo, I don't think so. Regardless, it blows my mind how SM especially hasnât issued any apology or paid any sort of compensation to the families of those whose lives theyâve taken. Yes, I say theyâve because to this day, theyâve yet to take full responsibility for what theyâve done. To me, what they did was a form of murder without actually committing the act. submitted by /u/GenoveveSimmons15 [link] [comments]
