I just wanted to share some thoughts about Rami from BABYMONSTER. As most of you probably know, she’s been on hiatus since May due to health issues. YG confirmed she wouldn’t be part of the “Hot Sauce” promotions or the new mini album WE GO UP, and Pharita recently gave a small update at a fan sign, saying Rami is still recovering. While I’m genuinely happy for the group’s success — Hot Sauce was a bop and WE GO UP is such a strong release — I can’t help but feel like something’s missing. Rami’s vocals have always been a core part of BAEMON’s sound. Her tone, her power, her emotion — she brought a depth that’s hard to replace. Watching the group perform without her feels bittersweet. I’m not trying to stir drama or hate. I just want more people to remember the Rami we’ve seen grow over the years. Her talent deserves recognition, and I hope she’s getting all the rest and support she needs. But when she’s ready, I hope YG and fans welcome her back with open arms. I've read a webtoon where the ML had to go through a sp0ns0rship so he can get projects and became the biggest star. Basically he's just one of the many male celebrities that this older rich woman is "taking care" of. Then I've read that it exists on smaller companies before. Then there's Y.u Me.ng L0ng's case albeit it's in Ch.ina. (Im typ.ing it this way to idk avoid something weird to happen) but it also exists on h0llywood so i wouldn't be surprised for it to exist on ent industry everywhere yk. Has anyone heard any stories of sp0ns0rship in kpop? Do you think it still exists to this day? I went to a K-pop concert with a guy friend and noticed majority of the people skipped him when handing out freebies. They’d give me one but would completely skip over him, they wouldn’t even ask if he wanted one. Do people just assume guys aren’t interested? I was handing out freebies too and I made sure to also ask guys and kids, every single one said yes and seemed happy to get one. Also, a girl asked me for an extra freebie saying it was for someone who didn’t attend. I hesitated since I didn’t have many left and wanted to save them for people who were actually there, but I gave her one anyway. Still, I can’t help but wonder what if she just wanted an extra for herself? What do you do when someone asks for an extra freebie? Hi everyone I wanted to know some opinions on the hybe boycott wether you are pro or anti-boycott. I’ve been boycotting hybe for almost 2 years i believe but I want to stop and listen to some of my favs new music/content, including catching up.
