Why are K-pop stans so obsessed with the words “first K-pop,” “first female K-pop,” “first male K-pop,” “first blah blah”? Like seriously, those titles don’t matter on a global stage! If the performance is awful, no one’s going to remember them as the “first K-pop group who went there” — they’ll be remembered for that awful performance lol. The global stage requires true talent, not endless excuses like “they’re tired,” “they have a sore throat,” or “they’re not feeling well.” Meanwhile, global icons like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and other real artists dominate because when they perform, they don’t make excuses — they deliver. They pour everything on stage, they show pure talent, not hide behind a group where only one or two members actually have it. I’m not attacking any fandom — this goes for any K-pop group. People need to stop being obsessed with being “first” and start being obsessed with being good. submitted by /u/Sufficient_Hunter_40 [link] [comments]

Earlier this year MHJ has been fined by the Seoul Employment and Labor Office for workplace harassment over the messages she send to and about employee A. She tried to appeal the verdict but today the court refused. That means MHJ, the person New Jeans want to become their CEO again because they felt harassed at Ador is a convicted workplace harasser herself. Ador/Hybe just gained another argument in their favour. https://m.news.nate.com/view/20251017n15610 submitted by /u/Megan235 [link] [comments]
One that I know is SEVENTEEN… they don't appear in the media as much as other groups, but their musical quality and performances are incredible. Each member contributes in a unique way, and they themselves participate in the composition and production of many of the songs, which shows how talented and dedicated they are. Although they are not always in the spotlight, those who follow closely know that each release is full of care, creativity and emotion. submitted by /u/Fun-Diver-6166 [link] [comments]
As title says how do fans even casual listeners of the group deals with morals when certain member's lines come up in the songs? Do you all skip his part? Or something else? I'm genuinely curious because there was a time I used listen them but has stopped ever since the scandal of one specific member. How do fans feel about listening to his voice? No shade no hate I'm just curious. This post might get deleted but wanted to express my thoughts anyways. submitted by /u/minimini_7 [link] [comments]

Songs where there's no harmonies are illogical to me. What's the point of having 3+ voices if it's going to be a reunion of solo bits. Choruses sung together are superior. And also, so idols focused in dancing and being pretty/handsome can stay in the middle without having too many individual lines. This is also the solution to unfair like distributions. Instead of having one member singing all the chorus, sharing makes it fair. Anyways the main singer is gonna be the bases for the harmony, but you get it Also, daer Hybe, you can have different members of Katseye singing the chorus in the same song. Ala, Sophia could have a chorus in Gabriela and Lara one in debut. And if Daniela and Manon could have sing one chorus in Game Boy then the other members could have some verses, geez, instead of singing the same line 3 times (I'm irrelevantly mad) submitted by /u/taeyang31 [link] [comments]
