Louder Than Bombs is one of my favorite BTS songs, but apparently it’d be too difficult to perform live or something along those lines. I’ll imagine it for the time being. 😔 submitted by /u/CeCeAlexus [link] [comments]

I made a post a few hours ago asking which two members in a group you always confused, so now I'm curious which group had such different/easily identifiable members that you never had trouble with them? For me, definitely mamamoo and blackpink. Once I learned their names, I could identify all the members immediately and never mixed them up. submitted by /u/Smart_Narwhal8698 [link] [comments]

how is it Lisa’s fault she was nominated in a category and her fans voted? like genuinely. people keep wondering how her song won. listen, i agree, her song never should’ve even been nominated within that category. it’s not korean, it wasn’t released through a kpop label, it was fully in english, none of the artists were korean. but everyone’s forgetting that A) MTV picks the nominated songs and B) It’s a fan-voted category. Not a panel of judges, not professionals, FANS. I understand people’s questioning of its place in the category, but to go out of your way to try to somehow make it seem like it’s lisa’s fault is insane. also people trying to make it seem like her song flopped to discredit it’s nomination/win… it has 250M streams on spotify and over 100M views on youtube. in no way, shape, or form did her song flop. I’m 100% open to discussing MTV’s choices but I literally don’t see how any of it is Lisa’s fault like people are trying to make it seem. submitted by /u/Outrageous-Ad7806 [link] [comments]

I was born in korea and I can confidently say that there is a reason why the topic of politics are SO sensitive there. The majority of people in korea are (Pro life, Anti Gay marriage, Anti LGBTQ-homophobic, transphohic etc.) Just imagine if your favorite idols went around openly expressing their political beliefs that revolves around those anti & hatred values. Nobody will stan them. There is a reason why kpop companies make them keep their mouth shut when it comes to this. (I’m not talking about idols who were raised or grew up outside of Korea) submitted by /u/Which_Mammoth9402 [link] [comments]

Group of the year will be announced soon, I expect Stray Kids to take the crown. Congratulations to all winners. It shows that when it comes to voting, K-Pop groups have a strong fan base! But it also shows that K-Pop is again on the rise! submitted by /u/lester3 [link] [comments]
we know kpop idols debut very young and they start training even younger, most of them during middle school. I don't really understand how so many parents would risk their children's safety (diets, abuse from staff) for this. one could say that it's for money, but isn't that a very risky gamble? unless they are under a big company, the chances of them making big money and getting very popular are kinda low. let's take a look at everglow who were fairly successful but were being overworked and I think they weren't even getting paid at all (correct me if I'm wrong about this). I think a lot of companies also make the trainees pay a debt so it can take quite a time until they are getting paid also, SK is very strict about school and I guess a lot of idols/trainees neglect their studies bc of their schedules and training. it confuses me how so many parents would risk their children's education, especially bc if they fail to debut, most of them don't really know what to do since they dedicated their youths to that one thing. yes, the kids can say "it's my dream to become an idol" but at the end of the day, parents are the ones who have the final word it might be a cultural thing idk about the diets, since SK has a huge diet culture, that might be the least of their concerns since it's so normalized but everything else makes me wonder submitted by /u/Weary_Occasion1287 [link] [comments]

I know nugu female idols who are the top vocalists in their gen but I'm not aware of nugu female idols who are the top dancers and rappers in their gen. Nugu idols are also very talented. I'm a big nugu gg enthusiast. Name any nugu female idols (group members and soloists) from 1st-5th gen that you think are the top dancers and rappers of their generation. submitted by /u/Toast_powered_2096 [link] [comments]

I'm not Atiny, but these songs are incredibly good. They make you want to go fight for whatever. Jongho's voice brings all his soul and strength to the songs. submitted by /u/Separate-Comedian-25 [link] [comments]
