I don't mean something general or "unpopular" which just is usually meanly derisive like "I don't like [highly popular person/group] I think they suck egg" or whatever I mean like a highly specific opinion on something extremely niche that kinda reveals that person thought way too much about it given that they even have thoughts on it. A take that probably can't be categorized as unpopular because no one was thinking it to begin with. Discourse that's a sign everyone involved needs to forgo just touching grass and go directly to eating the dirt. This take in the screenshot went platinum in caratland (the qrt ratio is fucking brutal) and I could honestly spend forever dissecting the layers in how insane it is, but today I saw reference to people saying Le Sserafim Chaewon letting her dog kiss her mouth was a sign of her having a fetish, which while not as layered is still definitely a top 10er for sure submitted by /u/SomeRaceHorseName [link] [comments]

idk you guys agree? are there any idols you think are a good example? submitted by /u/Academic_Essay5942 [link] [comments]
…and it’s for the stupidest reason, I’m a fan of this group but I honestly cannot stand this song because of the way they sing the chorus; All I can hear is ‘gay boy’ over and over again 😭 Because of this I just cannot stand the song, not because of homophobia or anything just because I think it sounds genuinely ridiculous and can’t take the song seriously at all. Has anybody else had this silly issue? submitted by /u/The_Jaded_rabbit [link] [comments]

There is always this group of people that throw passive aggressive remarks about idols under the pretext that they're concerned about them , it doesn't come off as genuine at all , but as a cheap attempt to create a commotion surrounding the idol's name with topics like mistreatment , health issues , plastic surgeries etc. submitted by /u/GrabMore8308 [link] [comments]

it’s not uncommon for a person to not know not to kiss dogs. People let dogs lick their faces and get surprised with acne. Y’all, don’t see people online doing shi with their dogs? Maybe she’ll learn that that crap is rancid now but why are we exaggerating and calling her a zoophile???? Her kissing her dog does not mean she’s attracted to it or has a fetish. This is imo the equivalent of a person kissing a baby. Sje was showing affection in a very nasty and unhygienic way but that doesn’t mean she’s in love with it. You guys react this way any time you see kisses there was point where parents were called pedos for kissing their kids. This all comes down to how she was raised to have and treat a pet. I find dogs disgusting over all so me seeing that I’d be like gross even without knowledge of pet care. But we don’t know her and her intentions so chalking it up to something grotesque and disgusting when it’s probably someone who just has an outdated sense of dog care is mad. Some people still let dogs lick their faces, then get confused when they have acne and skin issues. Some people still go around thinking they should just smooch a strangers baby even with threat of infection. This does not mean they are super nasty and abnormal and should have people plastering harmful labels. Some people are just uneducated and that’s it. submitted by /u/Royal_Land_7344 [link] [comments]
My point is fandoms are never happy never, we love complaining about how idols are not treated like human, what they have to go through during their trainees days and the high expectations and nitpicking, then turn around and be mad when for once these idols choose their health and themselves first instead of putting their fans first, someone is sick they get called lazy for no performing while being sick, but then when they faint on stage they mad at the company for not letting them rest. someone goes on hiatus to recover, the company is mistreating them, someone choose to leave their group for health reasons, not specified what happened, it could easily be cancer, they get mad at her and want to force the company to bring her back. Same thing with the bullying, they bully these idols for the most insane reasons, and get mad when they try to defend themselves and call them unprofessional, then when they commit suicide, they make videos saying “idols who deserve an apology”, as the years pass these performers are viewed and treated less and less like human beings and more like machines, they complain so much about how strict the industry is but when they have a little bit of freedom they get mad, and all this hypocrisy is even more evident with female idols, these girls don’t smile for a second and suddenly they are mean girls or planning to bomb their groups. And i knoww stan culture it’s like this but somehow in kpop it seems worse. Sorry if im not very clear or expressed myself badly, English it’s not my first language 🙏🏾 submitted by /u/Express_Orange1639 [link] [comments]
Lately I've seen more people hating on snark subs, and I don’t get it. These subs have been around forever, not just in kpop but in every fandom space. They're not some new trend people have always wanted a place where they can be blunt without getting attacked for it. There's literally a subreddit for everything on reddit, even for stuff way more controversial than Kpop opinions. Nobody is out here trying to shut those down. So why suddenly this weird gatekeeping against snark subs? And , most people in snark subs aren't just random haters they're usually ex fans. They know the group, the music, the fandom culture, and that's why their criticisms often come off more fair and informed. Snark subs give people a safe place because in main fandom spaces, you can’t really criticize an idol or fandom behavior without getting dogpiled. On snark subs, you can say what you think without worrying about backlash. It’s not for everyone, but for a lot of people it’s refreshing. At the end , if you don't like them, you don't need to join them. Their existence doesn't hurt the main fandom spaces at all. They're just a space for people who don’t want to live in the "everything is perfect" echo chamber all the time. Snark subs will never disappear; they've always existed and will continue to do so , if you don't like it maybe reddit isn't for you ? submitted by /u/Unfair_Cod_8637 [link] [comments]
